Are you looking for the perfect vacation home for you and your family? Sonshine has all you need and more for a memorable and wonderful Edisto Beach vacation. This house is not only large and tastefully decorated; it's well-equipped with all the comforts of home. The kitchen has plenty of space for the chef in your group to cook up a feast, while free WiFi and satellite TVs in every room can keep guests entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach.



On this spacious corner lot, you need only cross Palmetto Boulevard to reach the beach. Or, you can relax lazily on the large, screened-in porch to soak in the sweet ocean breeze. The ground-level patio is a great place to chill and grill, and features plenty of covered parking for a boat. If biking or walking are on your agenda, you can pick up the community bike path right from the backyard, taking you on a great trek around the beach and out on the island. If you're seeking fun on a larger scale, Sonshine is the perfect fit!

Friends and Family Beach Week

Everything was great for our group of 12. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and a bathroom in each room. Pots and pans were a little dated but overall everything was great.

Great rental next to beach on Edisto Island

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Loved the large living space and table, even better than in the pictures! Despite the somewhat chilly weather, it was great spending time out on the incredible porch with a view of the ocean.

Weekend at Sonshine

Nice Stay

Great location (towards end of the island), nice layout of the house including the large/open family area. We enjoyed playing games and cards on the large table inside along with sitting out on the screened in porch and sun deck in the afternoons.

Sonshine was a hit!

The house had plenty of room for our large family. We especially loved that each bedroom had a full bath. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances- even had a double oven. The huge dining table was great and we especially loved the large screened in porch and all the seating. Under the house was great with lots of room and the ping pong table and the basketball goal out back gave lots of activities when not at the beach. I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful!

Perfect for large families

We rent a lot of vacation homes and this is the first one in a while we would definitely go back to. The layout with large family space open to the kitchen couldn’t have been more perfect. Newly updated bathrooms. From porch which was large enough to seat 14 at a table or rocking chairs. Complete with a beach peek-a-boo view. Location couldn’t get better for a second row house. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only improvement we’d make is if the washer and dryer were on the main floor. Would definitely rent again!!

The daybed was broken on head board, the grass was not cut, the mosquitoes where very bad could not enjoy being outside and under house where hammock was,other than that its a great place for a large family to stay and enjoy.

I took my parents to Edisto for a long weekend. We had 8 total in our group. The house is huge . We had all the room we needed and more. The kitchen has everything you will need. We loved the location. We saw deer in the morning. Very easy beach access.

Sonshine is a spacious home in a great location. We have stayed two years and would have stayed again but Vacasa fees have prohibited us as senior citizens to stay here.

Our annual ladies excursion was a blast! The beds were comfortable, Perfect bathroom arrangement. Only issue, tricky oven and stove (luckily one of us decifered)😀 and dinners were successful.

Home Away From Home

Sonshine is a home with lots of space. We loved the common area. My grandchildren enjoyed the bunk beds.My only complaint was both stoves were hard to operate.We plan to stay at your lovely home next year. We love the Edislow life. It is a relaxing vacation.

The Sonshine House brought sunshine to our family time.

We really enjoyed our time at The Sonshine House. It was our first time to stay at a beach house for our family Thanksgiving and we loved the experience. We really appreciated the spacious and well stocked kitchen. The large dining table was great. The living area was very functional and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch and the sunny decks. The kids enjoyed playing table tennis and a very nice beach access was only two blocks away. We appreciated the helpful responses to our questions from the host and the service desk. We would recommend this home to others. We are taking home wonderful and lasting memories of our time at Edisto! Thank you!

Beautiful Home Away From Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is big and spacious and you will never trip over one another! The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had! It wasn't far from the beach and on the quiet end of the Island. The description of the house was accurate in the listing and really met all of our needs. A wonderful place to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our kids and grandkids!

Not as expected

The screened in porch was nice but so many torn screens you couldn't enjoy due to mosquitoes. Cooking utensils were okay. Loved the big open area and large table. Coffee pot took forever, tried to call a out it, big joke.
