This was a great location for our family - close to the beach, quiet, and the backyard was wonderful! The house was very clean and had everything we needed, the heated floors in the bathrooms upstairs were also nice to have, we will definitely recommend!

Perfect stay for our needs as 6 adults. Found the amenities to be everything that we needed and more. Communication was great throughout, host was responsive to all of our requests and queries.Groceries and other stores were a short drive away. About 10 min drive to the pier which was nice and convenient.Bedrooms were cozy, with good cupboard space. Kitchen, dining and living room were great spaces to relax as a family. The garden is huge and quite beautiful, with outdoor seating available. There was cable tv so we were able to watch some live tv. The tennis was on, so it was great to be able to follow that during our stay. The only recommendation I have is to provide an ironing board. There is an iron available, but we needed to use the dining table as a board.Overall, great stay and I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.Thanks to Alan and the team!

the location of this property is lovely about 45 minutes south of Vancouver and easy to find! WE opted to stay clear of the FIFA tournament being held during our 3 night stay, so this looked to fit our needs. However, prior to arrival, the host Mr. Yu sent us the “Parking RULES” 4 times and was very specific about the parking of our rental car in his tiny driveway out to a busy street. It is advertised that the owner resides on the separate side of the property, however the owner lives on the other side of locked off doors. You’ll hear a security beep beep every time they open their doors throughout the day & night. The interior furnishings are very “tired” and mismatched! The home has hardwoods in some areas and white CARPET in bedrooms and living room. We were told to not wear our shoes, but offered use of someone else’s slip on rubber shoes…unfortunately, that is not a viable option for older women with feet and balance issues! We found that most of the windows do not open for fresh air and there’s a weird oder and only one fan for the entire house. The kitchen is not “fully” equipped to prepare meals and lacks many basic cooking utensils/ coffee cups, as most of the cabinets are “empty”. The bedding sheets are without a top sheet on all beds and the mattress sags in the middle, very uncomfortable. There’s printed signs with the house rules taped throughout the home. There’s bathrooms upstairs only, no bathrooms in the kitchen or living room areas.

We would like to clarify a few points for future guests: Our parking instructions are sent before arrival to ensure guests can park safely and avoid blocking the sidewalk or traffic on the busy street. These instructions are provided to every guest for safety and convenience. According to our records, we only sent the parking instructions once. We believe the repeated messages were caused by a system issue, as we have also received the same message multiple times recently. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The property description clearly states that the host lives in a separate private area of the home with its own entrance. While the spaces are completely private, guests may occasionally hear normal household sounds, including the security system when doors are opened. We have addressed the issue, and the beeping sound has been eliminated. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We ask guests to remove outdoor shoes indoors to help protect the flooring and maintain cleanliness. Indoor slippers are offered as a courtesy, and guests are welcome to bring and wear their own indoor footwear as your request. The home is equipped with opening windows and fans, and we would have been happy to assist had we been informed of any ventilation concerns during your stay. We do provide other fans which is in the closet of laundry room. The kitchen is stocked with the cookware and utensils needed for typical meal preparation. If any essential item was missing, we would have gladly provided it upon request. Our bedding follows the North American standard, which typically uses a fitted sheet and duvet cover. We appreciate your comments regarding the mattress comfort and will review it. House information and reminders are posted to help guests locate important information quickly and ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. This property was great for kids to play outside. The yard is spacious and well maintained. The house was clean and all of the rooms were comfortable. The house is close to a great park with a playground, picnic area and great walking trails.
