Escape to Ocean View II, a stunning beachfront house in Bolivar Peninsula, Texas! This charming property offers breathtaking ocean views and direct beach access, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Spend your days sunbathing on the beach, grilling on the BBQ, or simply relaxing on the patio. You'll love the views of the Gulf and of East Galveston Bay. This home features a residential elevator (approved for passenger use), so it's perfect for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The screened deck area is perfect for enjoying the sound of the waves without those extra "friends" (insects) interrupting. Located in Gilchrist, this house is secluded but still near attractions and experiences, ensuring a memorable vacation for everyone.

Enjoy the gorgeous modern decor and amenities in the great room. You'll find cozy furnishings for relaxing after a day in the sun and sand. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with both Keurig and regular drip coffee makers, a wine fridge, and a charming coffee bar area for enjoying your morning brew. The comforts of home include an on-site washer and dryer, high speed internet, and televisions in all bedrooms.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, there's plenty of space for families or groups. The primary suite has a queen bed and gorgeous ensuite bath. (The elevator does reach both the main floor and the primary suite - so no worries about the indoor stairs if you have mobility challenges.) The second bedroom features another queen bed, and the third bedroom has two queen beds.

On the ground level, you'll find a large yard with a volleyball net, and direct beach access. Dine alfresco, using the charcoal grill provided. The outdoor shower is wonderful for rinsing off the sand after making memories on the beach. You'll love the time spent at Ocean View II!

Your small dog (under 35 pounds) is allowed with a pet fee., so bring your furry friends along for the adventure! All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the elevator. They had us share trash cans with neighbors and they we were full when we took out our trash. They need to get trash cans just for this house. Otherwise we loved the place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! The cabin has everything you would need for a weekend stay. It is beautifully decorated and the view is amazing. Instructions for garage disposal and the grill would have been helpful. Other than that it was a wonder place to stay.

Amazing house, won’t stay again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and clean. It’s probably been my favorite house we’ve rented from the company so far. However, we will be trying a new property next time as the mosquitoes were so bad we couldn’t even be outside and anytime walking to our vehicles or the beach we got attacked. They really should do some mosquito maintenance underneath the house. The other issue was the beds are very hard, but I could get past that by bringing toppers with me. The strangest part was having the neighbor come over and tell us that he was the owner of the house and to let him know if we need anything after we rented through a company. Him and another guy next-door on the other side, kept walking back-and-forth underneath the house by all of our stuff, and he even showed up once ringing the doorbell to get tools out of the house. That was just kind of strange because we didn’t know he was the owner. We weren’t told the owner live next-door. So it did feel a little like we were being watched the whole time.
