The Space:

Full of light and comfort, this two-bedroom condo at Thunder Island in Ocean City boasts a bayfront setting you won't soon forget. Spend your days lounging on the beach and swimming in the community pool, and your evenings taking in the sunset view from your private balcony. Inside, you'll find a polished living space with central air conditioning, a fully appointed kitchen (with a dishwasher), and flatscreen TVs in the living room and primary bedroom. Free WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided as well. Thunder Island is a bayfront property that's wonderful for beach-goers, convention attendees, and boating enthusiasts alike. On the grounds, you'll find an outdoor pool and a dock (the dock is available for an additional fee); right next door is the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. You'll be less than two blocks from the ocean beach and within walking distance of midtown's many restaurants, shops, bars, mini-golf courses, and other attractions. Things to Know Full kitchen The dock is available for an additional fee; boat slips are not guaranteed No pets and no smoking Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great golf trip stay

The location is perfect for just about everything. The view from the balcony is terrific. Very close to all the golf courses we played. Looking forward to our return trip in October.

The view & balcony were great. Location wasn’t the greatest at this time due to the Car Show Traffic at the Convention Center. Friends stay at 2 other Condo’s in this building and they are much more updated and appealing.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we loved it again ! I stayed with my husband and our 13 year old son for 7 nights and it was wonderful again this time! .clean, pool is big And very clean, property well taken care of, the view is AMAZING!!!! huge up close and personal view of the bay! Gorgeous sunsets! We love it here!

Beautiful Condo

The condo is in a great location. Close to water sports places and excellent dining. Easy access to the beach. Great pool! Furniture and kitchen stuff were in good condition. You definitely need to pay attention to the high water signs in the parking lot- it will flood! Not sure why we are charged for housekeeping? Apartment straightened. Clearly not vacuumed. Maybe the bathroom counters were wiped down, but the showers were not- razor caps and hair :( Food on the carpet and backsplash. Not on the owners, but maybe Vacasa could consider waiving the housekeeping fee?

Not so good Vacation with Vacasa at Thunder Island.

Not much that we loved. The Condo was nice, but it was not very clean. Dirty clothes left in the dressers, cracked toilet seat, Lights in living room did not work, blinds in bedroom broken, living room table lampshade broken, stove not clean, Twice as expensive as the other Condos in Thunder Island, Patio Slides and Windows extremely dirty, carpet bad, sofa bed in living room in VERY BAD SHAPE. We contacted Vacasa by phone upon arrival with issues and in the 8 days we were there, not one person showed up to fix anything from maintenance... We will not be back with Vacasa again. Also your staff is not very accommodating with help at 5200 Coastal Highway....

We always strive to provide our guests with top-notch vacation experiences and we regret that this was not the case for you. We apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered and the local manager has assured us that the home has been thoroughly cleaned and the cleaning crew has been changed. We are sorry that you felt a disconnect in service when communicating with our team but to clarify, the only items that you reported according to our notes were a broken lampshade and stains on the couch. Since your stay, these issues have been addressed and the toilet seat has been replaced. We hope that you will give us another chance to better impress you in the future.
