We travel to this area of Cape Cod almost every year and we love it! The location of this unit is good if you are okay with being a little bit off the water. Braemar is a quiet area. The pool is very nice and the sitting area in the back is peaceful. We do a lot of our cooking in and the kitchen could use a few upgrades. I wouldn’t say that I agree that it’s a well stocked kitchen but you can definitely make it work. You may want to bring a frying pan, some spoons, bowls and a full size coffee maker…the unit only has a Keurig. The unit has 2 refrigerators. One is very old and barely keeps things cold so you have to be strategic about what you put in there. The other one is a college size and both the fridge and freezer work but you can’t fit much in it. We ended up using our cooler. It seems that it’s time for a new fridge and everyone would appreciate the upgrade. The bed is on the firm side but with a memory foam mattress topper it wascomfortable. When we arrived the kitchen area had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned. I had to spend a lot of time communicating through phone, text and e-mail about this. I did finally get the majority of my cleaning fee refunded. However, this consumed a lot more of my time than it should have. Another positive is the AC. It was very hot when we were there and it was nice to walk into a cool room. In my opinion, this unit is best for 2 adults. You could probably make it work with young children but it would be tight with teens or adults.
