We loved this property! Well equipped, quiet, gorgeous view. We especially enjoyed the wrap around screened porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails.Comfy beds, plenty of towels. Hot water at kitchen sink very hot so be aware!The resident Bald Eagle was fun to watch. Highly recommend this rustic, cozy getaway!

Tracy - thank you for your feedback after your recent stay at Rockhaven Bay Bliss. Morning and evening drink on the wrap around porch sound amazing and like memory creating moments. This is a quintessential Maine “cabin” including a wrap around porch and sunset views. The bedrooms are sizeable with lots of bed options. The kitchen contained enough pans to prepare dinner at home. There’s a lovely dock and fire pit, too. It’s rustic, for sure, but we found it charming. There are many stairs, also, with no bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms, so be informed.

Wonderful oceanfront home!! The quirky vintage decor was 100% our vibe. Amazing screened in porch suited our family of 5 perfectly, and there was plenty of interior lounging space as well. I could have sat out on the dock for 8 hours straight- tons of bird watching (we saw an eagle!). Well appointed kitchen. Bathroom is funky- think beach house shower. Definitely not for those looking for a fancy hotel type home. Audubon trails within walking distance. A few minor water/plumbing issues were attended to promptly by Joe and team. We will definitely be back next summer!

This cabin was exactly as desribed! It was a charming older cabin right on the New Meadows River, with spectacular water views from the back porch. While our stay was a short two nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

This is a gem of a Maine Cottage. The owners are very lucky to have had it in their family for such a long time. The historic charm is fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It wasdecorated so nicely. Check-in went smoothly. The kitchen was sufficient. We loved the dock, and loved sitting there looking at the water. The kids loved the hammock. The porch was also very nice.

Perfect Maine Vacation House

We spent a long fall weekend on guy’s trip. It was perfect for us. Great fire pit, dock, and easy access to hikes through Hamilton Audubon Park.

Friends get together

Five of us got together and rented the house for three nights and celebrated the 65th birthday of a friend who lives in the area. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our stay. it was clean, beautiful sunsets, beautiful water, beautiful, wraparound, screen porch, nice breezes in the upstairs bedrooms, beautiful walks nearby, nice bicycling routes from location, fabulous stay,.

Awesome house

I stayed in this house with my 7 friends and it was the perfect spot for a weekend in Maine. Not far from Bowdoin College and ideal with the dock! Would absolutely stay here again!

The cottage was exactly what we wanted and needed it to be! A beautiful setting and comfortable accommodations. We really enjoyed the dock and the porch. We cannot wait to come back.

This cabin has a fun, campy feel with excellent access to the water and a fabulous, huge screened-in porch. The furnishings were homey and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We kayaked and fished all week and enjoyed a very relaxing vacation right on the water.

Welcoming home in beautiful spot

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home, which was flexible and comfortable. Dock is perfect and there is an Audubon trail nearby. Not far from Bath or the beach! We recommend it!

Lovely views, period and setting atmospheric, good choice

We enjoyed our stay and found the owners provided numerous little helpful extras. The only somewhat significant challenge is the recurring 31 stairs' climb, but the reward is a great view.

A real old time Maine camp on the water

This was just what we were looking for. Rustic, nothing fancy, but had some modern amenities. The most beautiful sunset was a bonus.

Relaxing and peaceful

We had a wonderful week at Rock Haven Bliss. The house is rustic and spartan, which was just what we were looking for. The floating dock, sunsets over the river, and the screened in porch were highlights for us.
