Spend a getaway Downeast at this walk-out daylight basement in Ellsworth. Known as the 'Gateway to Downeast' this historic town is just a short drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Bisected by the Union River, Ellsworth's picturesque Main Street is lined with quaint local shops, restaurants, galleries, and brewpubs. Various historical sites and museums chronicle the city's early founding and development through the years.

The perfect home base for a couple's retreat or small family vacation, this one-bedroom rental offers easy convenience to town and comes well-furnished for contemporary comfort. Strong natural lighting floods the space while home essentials include a full kitchen, free WiFi, and a private washer and dryer. At-home meals can be enjoyed at a breakfast bar with seating for three or adjacent dining table set for four. This home was nestled in a forest of enormous trees and had a fire pit area that was beautifully serene. The covered porch was great to have morning coffee on and the swing in the yard was a nice touch. The kitchen and living area were very spacious, as was the bedroom and bathroom. I highly recommend this home if you’re staying in Ellsworth as it is charming and close to everything.

We felt comfortable and felt like we had a "home" to come back to after our day of adventures. Only rated cleanliness low because there seems to be a mold issue that needs to be taken care of.

Nice location; very clean rental. Very happy with the apartment and the outdoors space. Check in was also very easy One thing to know is that as a basement rental, there is definitely noise from owners that live upstairs: footsteps, conversation, stereo/music. etc. Likely unavoidable. Again, very happy overall

This is a beautiful home, very clean and spacious! The bed was terrible!!!! Needs replaced!

The only issue we had was the bed. It had no support, we had to fix the slats before we could use it, it sqeeked and shook everytime we moved.

All in all it was a nice place to stay. It was hot tho and no fans or AC was accessible. The biggest complaint would be the noise. After reading the concern with us being noisy inwas expecting the same from the owners. It was loud until later at night and then at random times throughout the night.. Everything else was fine.

Air conditioning didn’t work Shower was hard to figure out Lock was very difficult to figure out Shower curtain was moldy No curtains on main windows The main bed was in poor condition and broke. Had to sleep on the floor. No way to contact host for immediate/emergency help

Pictures are misleading.

The sleeping arrangements were terrible. The bed in the pictures online did nor exist. All thete was was a bed frame with a mattress thrown over it. You could not lay on it because you would fall on floor. After complaining the 2nd night the management company brought plywood in and put on frame. Better but not right. I blame the management company for not keeping up with the maintenance of this home. Also, there were two doors missing off the bottom kitchen cabinets. The home and location were beautiful, but the owners need to hire a new management company.

Bon potentiel, mais trop humide

Communication avec l'hôte impossible : Juste des messages automatiques. Aucune coordonnée pour le joindre. Nous n'avons pas vu de BBQ sur place et pas d'information à ce sujet Pas de ciseau, pas de sel et poivre. Tapis qui garde les odeurs et apparemment très humide.
