Cottage tranquille et paisible au bord du lac près du parc national Acadia || VENTE DE SEPTEMBRE !!

Offrez-vous le sentiment de l'isolement d'une vaste terrasse surplombant un lac paisible loin de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne. Profitez de la baignade quotidienne dans la belle zone de baignade à fond de gravier au pied de la colline. Savourez des couchers de soleil spectaculaires sur le pont après le souper. Cottage a 1 grande cuisine / salle à manger / salon avec 2 chambres séparées et une salle de bain complète. La chambre avant a un lit queen et vue sur le lac tandis que la chambre arrière a une vue sur la forêt avec un lit double. Il y a un grand pont avant et 1 petit porche grillagé.

J'utilise le chalet moi-même lorsqu'il n'est pas loué et j'ai 3 chats siamois que j'apporte avec moi. Veuillez en être conscient si vous avez des allergies. :)

This is really the perfect place for a family get away. We’ve been staying here for the last seven years each summer, with two growing kids (now adult-sized) and our (also large) dog. We bring an air mattress for (said huge) kids to take turns with but we’re used to sharing small spaces and this is all perfect and just enough for all of us. The pond, Acadia, nearby special spots to get coffee and pastries and pizza- it’s just what we look forward to each summer.

The location is breathtaking and the house was very comfortable. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The beds were beyond comfortable. I was up most mornings to watch the sunrise and listen to the Loons calling out. The house is well stocked including a few tools that came in handy when the lift on my car broke and we couldn't close the trunk. My dog absolutely loved the lake and went swimming several times a day (every day). We hope to be able to come back next year.

This secluded lakefront cabin is an absolute dream for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Nestled deep in nature, the property offers complete privacy and unmatched, panoramic views of the water right from the deck. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, with only the gentle sounds of the lake and rustling leaves breaking the silence. It is the perfect spot to unplug, unwind, and watch the sunset over the water. The cabin itself is cozy, exceptionally clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough and will definitely be returning.

I can’t say enough about this cabin and Cindy. A truly perfect spot, amazing value and Cindy went well above and beyond to help us with an issue after we left town. It’s a magical place-I can’t wait to come back.

The cabin is dated but everything was spotless. There was plenty of dishes and supplies. The bed was very comfortable. This is a beautiful place to stay and very, very peaceful and reasonably priced. You are close to Ellsworth which is a cute little town. Great host!

For our family this was a great property to relax and enjoy but also able to reach areas in Maine we wanted to visit. I appreciated communications with the owner and she was very accommodating when we had a booking issue.

We stay at Cindy's place every year (for five years running now) and it is perfect for us. Cozy and perfect for our family of four with two growing teens/young adults two parents and dog but we love it! Highly recommend!

Perfect romantic getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! This was our first trip to Maine and Cindy’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the nearby activities in Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia NP as well as relaxing at the cottage and sitting on the screened in porch. Hearing the loons on the lake in the mornings and evenings was an added bonus! We would stay here again, highly recommend!

Lake bliss

Comfortable, cozy, lakeside home with killer views. It's quiet, well-stocked kitchen (equipment) and is great proximity for so many outings, whether to Acadia, Schoodic, Blue Hill, Deer Isle or . . . And loons.

I am a retired travel agent & have traveled the world. In spite of the many beautiful places I have seen, to me my cottage is equal to them all. I love Siamese cats, spinning wool, knitting & baking.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I inherited this cottage from my parents who built it themselves with help from neighbors & friends in the 1950's. I spent nearly every summer here as a girl, swimming & boating with my family & friends. It feels remote but is close to shopping & entertainment although I find that I hate to depart once I'm there & only leave for groceries.

The cottage is approx 25 miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, 20 miles to artsy Blue Hill, and within an hour of panoramic Deer Isle.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cottage is on a hill overlooking the lake & is a small climb down to a gravel bottomed swimming area. There are few camps on this lake, so you will be unlikely to see very much of your neighbors. There is no public boat launch on the lake, so only bring canoes or kayaks that are light enough to carry down the hill yourself & back up again.
