The apartment was located very close to the tram making it easy to get around the city. The beds were better quality than others I have stayed in.Do NOT get parking through this host.

Location is fantastic for exploring Munich, very close to all public transport and day trip busses but a pretty quiet street and secure entrance. Easy walk to the old town and festival grounds. Having two bathrooms made it very convenient for two couples.

Spacious and beautiful place, great hosts

The place is beautiful and spacious. We were grateful the hosts allowed us to drop our luggage before check in time. The 2 bathrooms with a washer were such a luxury on our 12 day trip.

The gentleman who helped us was very friendly. Apartment was spacious and beautiful in a good location. The two issues were 1) the kitchen countertop was in terrible condition ) the main building entrance electric combo door don’t always function. We had problems entering several times and had to wait till someone was leaving who let us in. One time we and others couldn’t get out. I saw people use the window to leave. Could be a simple, but necessary, fix.

Good for the Marianplatz

Great location close to central Munich. Beds were comfortable. Getting to place was a bit hard by car given all the construction. Better if you get there by taxi or public transit.

If you want to be convenient to the main train station and don’t mind three flights of stairs and no AC then this is fine. There were two ACs one in each bedroom but they blew air the temp of outside so open windows would have been better. I texted the owner twice to let him know that the ACs were loud and did not work and he did not respond. The route across town to get to the marine platz was busy roads and didn’t always feel safe. Apartment was clean. No soap, shampoo or any extras were provided and the linens were one towel and one pillow per person. Sufficient but nothing extra. Very no frills and basic accommodations.

Great location. Close to the central train station, and near the old city. Apartment description is accurate. For checkin they gave a phone number, but no one answered. But I was able to get the checkin instructions from them using the VRBO chat. My sister in law had a similar experience with another one of their units.The queen sized bed only had one pillow and a twin sized blanket on it. We only planned to have one person sleep there, so it was fine. But if you’re planning to have 2 people in that bed, might want to check with them.The AC is only in the bedrooms, which is fine. But the placement of the units in the windows means you can’t fully close the curtains.Overall a good base of operations. I would stay here again.

The property was reasonable and close to the central train station. Unfortunately the neighborhood is very rough and lots of mobile police cameras everywhere. I travelled with family and went down to the "courtyard" as written in the welcome papers to smoke and was welcomed by the owner of a strip club who's van was parked in the carpark told us we don't want you there and go outside to the front of the building in a bad area to smoke. Had the bell rang from the outside bottom door multiple times from the outside during the night. Also has a parade of the local suspect girls walking through the lobby during the early morning going back to there accommodation. Great accommodation, bad area. The host was easy to deal with and very smooth check in.

As for smoking, that was a misunderstanding—you were allowed to smoke in the apartment, but please don’t throw cigarette butts into the courtyard; instead, use the ashtray provided in the apartment. Unfortunately, we have no control over what happens in the surrounding area. Since it’s in the city center and the cityscape has changed for the worse over the past few years, we can only assure you that Munich is still one of the safest cities in Europe. We hope you were able to enjoy your stay despite everything.
