This property is less than a mile from Steamboat's Gondola, easily connecting you to acres of ski terrain as well as shops and restaurants throughout the base area. Spend a day in Steamboat Springs learning about the area's rich history or sit along the Yampa River and end your day at the hot springs. There are numerous hiking and biking trails of all lengths and difficulty levels in the surrounding area, as well as golf and Nordic trails just over two miles away.

Cap a thrilling day on the slopes by preparing a homemade feast in the kitchen and curling up to watch TV in the warmth of the gas fireplace. This condo has plenty of charm and everything you need for a comfortable stay!

All in all not bad. Clean enough, plenty of amenities and spacious for two people. It’s on the third floor so not ideal if you have to carry a bunch of stuff. Not very close to any bus stops for mountain access. Fireplace didn’t work and WiFi was spotty.

Great Rental

The location of this home is perfect, right up on the hill, a very short distance from the ski hill. It's so close enough to downtown that it's not a problem getting into town. There was no AC but opening the windows and using the provided fans cooled the house well enough to keep it cool during the day. The garage parking was very useful. The only parts that were not ideal is the second bathroom toilet leaks so it ran constantly and there was no garage door opener so I had to do 2 laps around the building to get into and out of the garage. Everything else was really great. It helped me have a very relaxing stay.

Close to the bus line.

Walk downhill a few minutes in the morning to reach the bus. Walk downhill a few minutes at the end of the day from the bus back to the unit. Perfect size garage, plenty of space. Relatively clean. The place could use a deep clean on the walls, there were quite a few marks on the walls in the bathroom, coffee marks, moisture drips of color. But if that is the only nuisance then you can rest assured that you will be satisfied here. It's up two flights of steps but it was a nice unit for the price. It's no ski in/ski out but it's half the price. 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 sofa upstairs, 2 sofas downstairs in the garage. Two thumbs up.

Great Condo, had a minor issue.

Second time we've stayed at this condo since it worked so well the previous time. Great location and views, very quiet area, all around great set-up. However, this time as soon as we entered the condo we noticed an issue either with the cleaning and/or the previous occupants. I immediately contacted Vacasa via phone, text, and app to let them know so we wouldn't be blamed for it, was told on the phone call that they would contact the agency...that was all we heard. We were able to mitigate the issue over the next day or so. Not a huge problem, just disappointed on Vacasa's lack of response. Wouldn't dissuade us from using the condo again!

Beautiful views and a cozy little place on the mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very spacious and laid out nicely. It could use some updating but that don’t hinder our stay at all. Nice big kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed. Nice big laundry room. The views of the mountains were amazing especially for us Texans who never get to see snow. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the snow come down. It was a five-minute drive to the base of the mountain and you could say it is walkable but it would be a pretty long walk if you were carrying lots of gear. And, having a garage was so nice. Not having to remove snow from the car each morning was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in September 2020. It was very clean and the two balconies allowed for cross-ventilation, which was important to me during these covid times. It was modern and well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable, with puffy down duvets. Starter shampoo/bar soap are provided. Good wifi signal in all rooms. It is on the third floor and the stairs might be an issue for some people although it wasn't for us. You park your car inside the garage. There is a drip coffee maker and small hairdryer. The freezer had an ice maker. I liked how the furnishings were not ostentatious, just clean, comfortable, and down to earth--it feels like home. We ordered takeout dinner from the Ore House, which I recommend. Thank you to our lovely hosts for sharing this nice space with us. A few words about transportation. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the gondola/base in summer weather. There is a green route bus stop nearby. The bus seating capacity is limited currently. About half the seats are cordoned off due to covid. The bus ride from the gondola/base to the condo is very short, only a couple minutes. The bus ride from the condo to the gondola/base takes longer because you have to wind around other condo complexes and (sometimes) the other hotels. My understanding is that in the winter, there are two green routes, one that goes to the condos only and another that includes the hotels.

Very spacious

this is a great condo, the rooms were Big, Lots of space. Large laundry room with washer and dryer. it was summer time so you really needed three fans but but there were only two fans in the condo. I bought a fan and I left it there for the next people, you're welcome :-) there's lots of windows can you get a really nice breeze coming through as this is a corner unit. all in all, I would stay here again

Sauna Vacation Rental

The property is on the third floor and can only be accessed by the walk-up stairs. The unit had zero A/C and did not even have a fan to move the air. Even after opening all the windows and doors and leaving them open, the unit was still 85 degrees at 2am. None of this was stated in the listing. Would not have chosen this property. Advise that you keep looking.

Generally, the best way to manage the heat is to open the windows at night and then shutting them in the morning.
