Beautiful home and great location. The decor was great and their home was very family friendly (games). Things future guests should know: The initial home description is lacking key information. Once you book, the description lets you know that the home comes with a “starter” amount of everything. This was surprising compared to other vacation rentals we’ve booked. We didn’t have blankets on the beds, only thing coverlets. The description lists comforters but this was not the case. There is only a single roll of toilet paper, one dish tab, etc. so you will have to bring or purchase everything you need. Pest control is an issue in the basement. We had a ton of beetles. The instructions say to keep doors and windows closed, which we did but it was still an issue. We couldn’t really use the backyard, connected to the basement door. The hot tub was drained into the yard causing it to be muddy so the pest were coming in another way. For a new home, it was surprising to see a few things not working properly. Broken main floor toilet flapper, stove light wouldn’t turn off, loose towel bar in downstairs bathroom. For service, you call an automated line and go into a call center type queue. Over all, the home was worth-ish the cost but I’m not sure that I would use Casago again.
