Red Door River Cabin is a newly renovated, 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom modern cabin located in West Jefferson, NC. We've worked hard to design a space that is cozy, but doesn't skimp on amenities!

Our primary bedroom features a Queen Sized Bed with 100% cotton sheets, a cozy brushed cotton spread, and an extra blanket for those chilly winter nights. Central AC and Heat and a ceiling fan ensure you'll be comfortable no matter what time of year you visit!

The second bedroom has two Twin Sized Beds that can be used individually or pushed together to form a single King Sized Bed. This bedroom also has a ceiling fan.

Enjoy cooking your meals on vacation? Our fully stocked kitchen has all that you'll need! We supply all dishware, glassware, utensils, and plenty of cookware as well. The coffee maker makes both drip and k-cup coffee. Wine glasses, a microwave, a full-sized electric oven and range, a crock pot, and a blender are all available for you to use. Our dining table seats 4.

Cozy up in our living space and enjoy all your favorite shows and movies on our Smart TV with Free WiFi (guests must use their own logins for apps). A variety of board games are available.

The bathroom has a modern, walk in shower with glass doors, a brand new vanity. Fluffy towels and a hairdryer are provided!

We also have a full-size washer and dryer if you need to get some laundry done!

Outdoors you will find a gas grill, flat top grill, and a fire pit.

Entry to the cabin requires approximately 5 steps up to the deck. All rooms of the cabin are on one level.

During ski season, please leave all gear on the front or back deck of the cabin. Please, no ski boots or golf shoes in the condo to prevent marking the floors.

Our cabin is in the High Country!

What does this mean for you?

In colder / snowy seasons: you WILL need snow tires or chains, and an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. The weather in the mountains can change in an instant, and we may not be able to accommodate adding extra days to your stay in inclement weather. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving in the snow.

In warmer seasons: please watch carefully for wildlife. We have foxes, deer, and even bears! Do not leave any food or trash outside the cabin. Do not leave food in your vehicles. Please drive carefully as we frequently see newborn deer crossing the roads in late spring / early summer.

*** Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via paved and gravel roads and a grass and gravel parking area which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from weather conditions out of our control. ***

One dog up to 50lbs allowed with prior approval and payment of $100 non refundable pet fee.

Any unauthorized animals at the property will result in a $500 fine.
