Summary:

Make the first decision of the morning an easy one: beach or pool. Maui Kamaole G214 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo for four guests, with three beds, air conditioning, a kitchen, WiFi, and a washer and dryer. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road for swimming, snorkeling, and sunning, while the complex’s lower pool is heated for the days when the kids are still not done with the water. A second pool, spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas sit among tropical landscaping. Keawakapu Beach is nearby for a change of scenery, and Wailea is close for dinner or a sunset drive. This is a straightforward, comfortable setup for a family that wants its South Maui vacation to have a little structure and plenty of room for spontaneity.



The Space:

G214 has a two-bedroom, two-bath layout with three beds for up to four guests. Inside, a well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, WiFi, cable TV, and a DVD player support both active and slower days. The washer and dryer are a welcome practical feature after beach towels pile up, while the furnished outdoor space gives you a quiet place to pause between outings.



Guest Access:

Guests at Maui Kamaole enjoy access to the resort's two pools, pool spa, tennis courts, barbecue areas, and tropical garden grounds. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, making beach time easy to work into the day. The resort's low-rise layout has no elevators.



The Neighborhood:

This South Kihei location makes Kamaole Beach Park III feel like part of the daily routine rather than a special trip. It is across the road for swimming, snorkeling, and a simple beach morning, with Keawakapu Beach nearby when you want to explore another shore. Wailea is just south for restaurants and a change of pace. Maui Kamaole’s grounds include two pools, a heated lower pool, spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas, so there is plenty to do close to home.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Perfect paradise getaway!

The condo was so lovely, with a wonderful view! All the amenities we could need, with shops and restaurants of many varieties in close walking distance. Great vibes inside and out. Great location with easy access to beaches. Excellent views of sunsets and whales from balcony. Unit really needs updating; other units in complex are beautifully decorated. Only 4 mismatched wine glasses for unit; awkward for inviting guests for dinner Lower pool was closed during our visit so remaining pool was crowded. Checkin & checkout process was very easy. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys provided.

Love the Lanai!

Just back from a March stay at the Maui Kamaole. The unit was very clean( including the carpets) and overall comfortable for our family of 4. The unit isn’t as updated as some others but is close for walking down to the beach. The appliances are basic and the kitchen has most items. Upon arrival there were only two beach towels in the unit, a call to Vacasa remedied the shortage immediately. The Lanai makes the unit with a beautiful view of the ocean for watching sunsets and spouting whales. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Beautiful condo with fantastic view

Loved the fantastic view from this condo and appreciated updated living room decor. Unfortunately we battled cockroach infestation inside kitchen drawers and all over (as well as ants all over upstairs bathroom). We also had toilet running constantly and wifi wrong login. So not perfect. A little better response for the problems would have made this perfect.

This home is treated quarterly by pest control but we will ensure that additional treatments are scheduled to prevent further concerns. Our property manager confirms the toilet has been fixed. Great location, property needs upkeep

This was our fourth stay at the same property and we can safely say this unit was our least favorite. From stains on the carpet everywhere, ants and dusty furniture, the property has seen better days. Perhaps the worst of it all was hair on the bathroom floors and towels when we checked in. All these were reported to Vacasa, but all we got was an apology via text and no attempt to correct the situation. We will definitely NOT be returning to this unit.

We made a very good choice, staying in a condo, rather than a hotel. We appreciated the ability to cook, and of course we had much more room than we would have had in a hotel. The Maui Kamaole location (across from the boat ramp in Kihei) was very good for us, but be aware it`s helpful to have a car, or be accustomed to long walks. `Downtown Kihei` if there is one, is a short drive North, but a pretty long walk. We were 2.2 miles North of our Luau in Wailea--a little less to the shops of Wailea. We were also 2.5 miles South of Kihei Cafe, to give you an example of common distances. We were within sight, though, of the southern-most Kamaole Beach Park, so it`s not as though everything required driving. Note that this rental complex appears to have a mostly older population, which was fine for us. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`
