Summary:

Take your first Kona coffee to the private lanai and watch Wailea wake up beyond the ocean view. This ground-floor, two-bedroom condo sleeps four and gives a family or two couples a private, comfortable starting point for South Maui beach days. The shared pool is on site for an easy afternoon dip, while Wailea Beach is within a leisurely walk when you are ready for the sand. Inside, split air conditioning in each room, a full kitchen, and an in-home washer and dryer make coming home from the coast feel simple. Spend an evening watching Maui's sunset from the living room or dining in after a day at Ulua Beach, then head to Shops at Wailea for dinner or browsing. It is a thoughtful fit for guests who want Wailea's beaches and polish with the comfort of a ground-floor home.



The Space:

Split air conditioning in every room cools this ground-floor condo after a full South Maui beach day. The well-equipped kitchen and dining table for four make shared meals easy, and a large flat-screen TV anchors the living room. Ocean views reach inside, but the furnished private lanai is the place to take them in slowly, from morning coffee through the last light of sunset.



Guest Access:

Guests at Wailea Ekolu Village enjoy access to the shared outdoor pool, with beach access and golf course views throughout the landscaped grounds. On site parking and a nearby laundromat make this Maui south shore community easy to enjoy.



The Neighborhood:

Wailea is South Maui at its most polished, with crescent beaches, good snorkeling, golf, and dining close together. Wailea Beach and Ulua Beach are nearby for clear water and a long swim, while the Wailea Beach Path connects several beautiful stretches of coast on foot. Shops at Wailea adds restaurants, coffee, boutiques, and groceries to the day. The neighborhood feels calm and well cared for, making it especially appealing for guests who want easy beach access and a refined setting to come home to.



Getting Around:

Wailea sits on Maui's sunny south side, about 30 minutes from Kahului Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though this resort area is quite walkable, with a coastal path connecting several beaches, upscale shopping, and dining within an easy stroll. Groceries are a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site at condos and resorts, keeping arrival simple.

Paradise enjoyed

What a great place to spend a Maui vacation! We have stayed at Ekolu many times and this condo is one of our best experiences so far. Super clean, well furnished and decorated, comfortable beds, and a responsive management team made our 3 weeks as comfortable as home. Highly recommend this property!

Great Condo in Maui!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. The place was really nice and clean. It was great having AC throughout the house on warmer days. It had all the amenities for the kitchen. Hope to stay here again on our next visit to Maui!

Great family stay

It was a little tricky to find at night but the next day we realized it was a great location. Just a minute drive to The Shops at Wailea & the beach. The condo was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It has all the kitchen amenities you need including filtered water fridge, ice machine, beach towels & beach umbrella. Plus a beautiful ocean view from the main lanai. We would love to stay here again!

Loud getto blasting Bruno Mars employees below in shopping center in golf cart adjacent to property. It sounded like it was coming from inside the condo! Along with backup warning beeps from delivery vehicles daily ... all of this between 5am - 6am. Didn't see this in vrbo listing. everything inside fine, but the noise is a deal breaker.

Great location, fully stocked. One thing I disliked was polyester blend sheets - so itchy. Asked to replace but management company said that’s all they had. Personal preference of course but when you rent a luxury condo, you want better linens, right? Ended up buying a cotton set locally.

A Home Away From Home

When first walking in, we were greeted with a wonderful tropical smell with Hawaiian music playing. The unit was clean and well stocked to enjoy dining in, play at the pool and beach. I was impressed with Vacasa reaching out to make sure we were happy with the unit.

Beautiful Home

Our stay in Ekolu Village Wailea was amazing. The only negative is the upstairs neighbors with kids who start walking and running around the house very heavily at early hours in the morning. Other than that, the house was beautiful, clean, well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Thank you for a wonderful Maui vacation.

Nice condo. Clean and tidy. Please provide paper towels in the kitchen and kleenex as well. It's a shame to have to go out to buy these things after we've already been to the store for what we need.

Fabulous

We arrived at night and had some difficulty finding the place. The condo is at building 2, but the address had a 10 in it so it took us a while to find it. Other than that, this place was spot on. It was super clean, well organized, and well stocked with everything that you need. They have hired really great house cleaners, they even wrap the chords on the blow dryer and coffee maker like they are new. I absolutely recommend this place. The air conditioning works really well in every room too. It’s better than the pictures.

Great Location and Fantastic Stay

We stayed a week after a wedding in Kauai because we love Maui, especially Wailea. It was a fantastic location with great coffee, dining, luxury shopping, and beachfront resorts (open to the public) just steps away. The place was large with lots of light and easy parking adjacent. It was nice being on the ground floor so we could walk right from the lanai to the coffeehouse next door every morning. It really does make a difference to stay in Wailea rather than Kihei just a minute or two away because it is much less crowded and feels much more upscale without sacrificing convenience. There is also a beautiful market about two blocks away. We never made it to the pool but the grounds were great. When I had a question for the property managers, they were very quick and friendly. Hope to return soon!

Steps from Everything!

Overall this place is a 5 out 5 Stars! Very clean, easy to find, easy check-in process and close to everything you may need while staying on Maui! Pros: Food, shopping, restaurants, grocery store, golf, pizza and awesome beaches are literally a 1 minute to 10 minute walk from this location. Cons: The condo is set up well and the beds are good, they need new pillows. The kitchenware is good, but no other things like coffee filters or spices are provided. So if you plan on cooking while there, toss in some basics in your suitcase or buy them at the store. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family/friends. Communication with VRBO/management was tough.

Great location and nice ocean view

The unit was updated, spacious, and had nice furniture. We didn't use the kitchen but it was well stocked with coffee filters, dishes, etc. The separate AC units in each room worked well, but the unit has lots of windows and sliders and there is a nice cross breeze which we preferred. There were lots of towels, extra bedding, and beach chairs, etc. on the lanai. We had breakfast multiple times at Akamai Coffee in the small shopping center below the unit. Next door to Akamai is a store, Paper Garden, selling well-priced high quality gifts and souvenirs. Manoli's Pizza has wonderful views and a bar. The pool closest to the unit was closed for maintenance so we used the upper pool. The temperature of the water was perfect.

Condo with ocean view

Great location. 10 minute walk to the beach. Ocean view from the patio. This should have/would have been a five star review however, what we did not like: the king bed in master sagged in the middle leaving us to sleep across the bed; we regularily ran out of hot water after one person showered (and there were four of us); shortly after reserving we had confirmed there would be beach chairs and umbrella wheras upon arrival there were none and we had to buy our own and "donate" them to the condo. A number of emails regarding the hot water issue were sent to the host with no reply. Would really appreciate a gesture of being reimbursed for the two Costco umbrellas.

Shower is the deal breaker

All is great including location, amenities, beach towels and gears. The biggest disappointment is the shower. The capacity is so tiny where I always end up with cold shower after 5 min. It is absurd to pay thousands of dollars for a 5 day stay and not getting continuous hot water for a 10-15 min shower. The maintenance guy came and he is fully aware of the situation and asked us to wait 1 hour between turns. The dishwasher keeps making beeping noise throughout the night. The soap compartment is jammed and could not dispense soap during the wash cycle. This is not something we’d like to spend time on our vacation to figure out. I hope the owner could step up and do some basic upgrades to make this a smoother experience.
