We stayed with our 4 children (10-16) for 10 days. The villa would benefit from some modernisation but the pictures are accurate. The location is really good and the swimming pool fantastic. Bedrooms are a good size each with en-suite. We had a couple of minor issues but they were dealt with promptly.Hope to stay again

Everything in the house was as advertised, it was clean and equipped with everything that was needed for our stay. Don't recall seeing it in the description but it came equipped with a couple of Sonos speakers which was a welcome find.Also handy was that it was a 15 min walk to both the beach and supermarket

Enjoyed our stay

The villa is in a great location, near to the Praca, beach and Royal Golf Club. The Management team were very responsive and helped very quickly with a couple of issues that cropped up during the stay, and the cleaners arrived every few days.The villa was a good size, and the garden and pool were both very good.Don't be put off by some of the very negative reviews. While the Villa would benefit from some modernisation, we all enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value.There were a few nice additions, like Sonos speakers, table tennis, new gas BBQ and modern furniture in the living room. Oh and the Air Con was very good too!

Great traditional villa

My wife and I booked this villa for two weeks in April and were joined by a friend for seven days in the middle. The villa did not disappoint entirely living up to its billing. Well equipped and a great location close to the golf club and beach. We would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.

Fantastic short stay in Vale do Lobo

My family and I stayed a few days in this beautiful holiday home in Vale do Lobo. It was the perfect stay before flying out. Our trip to Algarve was fantastic.The villa was as described, communication was fine, everything clean and tidy. The pool was freshly refurbished. It is not heated but the temperature was just right (mid June). It is very close to the beach with its restaurants but in a quite part of the resort. Happy to come back again.

Absolutely charming holiday rental in one of the greatest locations of the Algarve!

I have nothing but great things to say about this rental. Don’t be fooled by negative reviews—they’re subjective and based on unrealistic standards. As a Portuguese person who has stayed in rentals across the country, I planned an Algarve getaway with my parents and fiancée, opting for a traditional Portuguese hacienda. We were not disappointed. The villa is charming, well-equipped, and steps from the Vale do Lobo golf course—a five-minute walk, perfect for avid golfers. It’s also a 12-minute walk to the Praca Vale do Lobo, with restaurants, entertainment, and beach clubs. A nearby parking lot is available if you prefer not to walk. The villa had everything we needed and more: parking for three vehicles, air conditioning throughout, access doors from the living and dining rooms to the terrace, an in-ground pool, lounge chairs, a Portuguese barbecue, a ping pong table, a top-floor terrace, and more. The villa exceeded our expectations based on the pictures. The service and response time from the owner and villa management team were incredible. Having stayed in many rentals, I can say their support was above and beyond. I thank both the owner and management team for their help and kindness. In summary, set your expectations clearly before staying here or anywhere else. If you want a modern villa, look elsewhere. This is a charming, typical villa. It’s unfair to complain about things when you know what to expect. For me, it’s a solid 10/10. I highly recommend this rental!

I cannot read this email as it has been sent in German, as has all my previous emails. I booked this villa on a British Vrbo site, but everything received has been sent in German. I had to call Vrbo every time I received anything and they translated. I do not speak nor can I read German. So my review is in English. We arrived at 2,30am to a cockroach infestation in the kitchen. The property management company sent maids in to "deep clean" the kitchen the following day. They did not do this and left the magazines with squashed cockroaches on the back of them on the kitchen worktop. The pool was green for the whole time and unusable. Even after calling the property management company, who were quick to respond by sending a pool man round, it was even more green 2 days later. The aircon unit in the smallest bedroom was broken and my adult sons had to sleep in an oven. Again the property management company were quick to bring a free standing zircon unit, which was so noisy it could not be used at night. The patio door lock was broken and therefore anyone could walk in. Yet another phone call to the property management company, who came round with two bits of broken wood to jam the doors from the inside. And then when the doors were given a new lock, we must have been out, because no one informed us until I called again the following day to enquire when the lock was going to be fixed. The only good thing was the location - near to the Praca.

Not easy to answer such a comment. - During the end of June 23, the mentioned problem with insects occurred to many villas in Vale do Lobo. For us it was the first time. For a guest it is an unpleasant experience, especially arriving at night. We regularly did disinfections since then and until today and 4 family stays later (now early August 23) nobody experienced the same. - The AC problem with one of the four units could not be solved as quickly as the guest requested. After the stay we exchanged all 4 units to fully resolve the issue. Now the house is equipped with the newest A+++ Daikin Style units. - We checked the lock and couldn't find a problem. The new guests did not experience the same problem. - During the guest's 10-day holiday the pool was checked twice by the pool cleaner. The pool is checked once a week. It was newly tiled and insulated in May 23. We had no complaints about the water quality before and since. It is sad to hear someone was unhappy with his stay in our villa. We and the local villa management will continue to do our best to solve any unpredictable events.
