This is a beautiful house on a beautiful property in a beautiful area. It appeared to still be pretty new and everything was in excellent condition and well kept and well cleaned. The only negative thing I can say is that there are no thicker curtains and such to block light. I knew this going in based on the excellent photos, but I'm the sort of person that likes it dark, especially in the mornings if I want to sleep in on vacation. It wasn't bad since we were there in the fall and the sun didn't come up too early. If you're the sort of person that likes bright mornings, you will really love it. The only other slightly odd thing to be aware of is that there was no microwave. Aside from those two minor things, this was pretty much the perfect getaway. The house had great amenities, which is largely why we chose it - hot tub, large shower, and deep soaking tub. Sadly, we were not late enough in the season to enjoy the fireplace. We are already talking about coming back next fall - I just hope my positive review doesn't encourage so many people to stay here that we can't get a reservation for ourselves!
