Summary:

Secluded, quiet, with close to 2 acres and a babbling brook, this home is the perfect place to get away from it all. The lake is a mile down the road, making it a great retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who love to swim, boat, fish, and every other waterfront activity. Lake George Village is just six miles south and Bolton Landing is 6 miles north, with activities for the entire family: shops, restaurants, parks, horseback riding, hiking and biking trails, and more.



The Space:

In the winter, you'll find fantastic snow activities like downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and winter festivals! Something for the entire family and friends.



Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light to go around. Cozy up by the fireplace to watch a movie on the large TV, or lounge about and have great conversation. Prepare grand meals and lake picnic snacks in the spacious kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, and plenty of room to eat at the formal dining table. The main bedroom boasts a sitting area with a TV for private viewing. Every guest room has a TV so there's no missing out on favorite shows! Not only is there a deck and grilling area in the yard, but a there's also a firepit that's perfect for sharing stories, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and watching for shooting stars on a summer evening. An additional treat for the kids (and adults) is a real treehouse and deck to the babbling brook to play in that they'll remember for a lifetime to come. A place to make vacation memories for the entire family.

The Sugar Shack

Beautiful spot up at Lake George. Close to town. Also closr to great shopping and restaurants. Perfect accommodations were more than comfortable and plenty. Great to have laundry on site!

Great House for Skiing Gore

Had a lovely weekend utilizing this house to ski Gore Mountain. 30 minutes to the chairlift, with the convenience of Lake George restaurants and grocery shopping. Kids loved the treehouse!

We had an amazing stay with 3 babies and a toddler. The house was comfortable, clean and safe. The kitchen had all necessary cookware and then some. The location was perfect. Thank you!

Quiet and private

Nice comfortable home on a large wooded property. House was clean and fully stocked. The kids enjoyed the books abs toys left in the rooms. And the tree house.

Family vacation

This was an amazing place to stay, we will definitely consider staying here again. Upon leaving the house at check out time all 4 of our children asked if we can move in to the house. Unfortunately we had to answer that as a no 😞. But the stay was thoroughly enjoyable! 😁

Sugar shack sweet retreat

This home was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of towns. The amenities were great. The backyard was amazing with an amazing tree house and field. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. As others stated, a second bathroom would be nice but its an old house. Kids toys were appreciated for our 2 grandchildren.

Quiet Wooded Property Outside of Lake George

Quiet wooded property 10 minutes outside of Lake George. Comfortable home with plenty of space. Close to everything and convenient. The only issue was the very low water pressure in the shower. Other than that, it was a nice property.

Beautiful property on large piece of wooded land. House is quiet, comfortable and only 10 minutes from the Village of Lake George. The only complaint we had was the water pressure in the shower - very low. Someone should take a look at that

Proximity to Lake George

If you need a spot with 4 BRs near lake George this is a decent option. Bolton's landing is very close for boat rentals, etc. Be aware that the fire pit is quite far from the home and could be a bit inaccessible for some down the hill. We would have used it more if it was closer, but when you're coming to a place like this and you've been out hiking or boating all day you don't want your relaxation spot to also feel like a trek as well.
