Mountain Retreat près de Driggs et Victor; Une heure de Jackson WY

Belle maison sur une colline avec vue panoramique sur les montagnes et un accès facile à Caribou-Targhee National Forest, à 80 minutes du parc national de Grand Teton et deux heures de West Yellowstone. Randonnée pédestre, VTT, ski de fond et de raquette de la cabine et ruban bleu pêche à la mouche et le ski de classe mondiale dans les 20 minutes.

Plusieurs grandes fenêtres et une élevée wrap-around pont apporter la beauté naturelle de l'extérieur. Vous apprécierez le curling en place sur un siège de la fenêtre pour lire un livre, profiter du soleil ou juste regarder la neige tomber. Après une journée de ski ou de randonnée longue, vous pourrez vous détendre sur un nouveau siège d'amour en cuir souple ou de se allonger sur un tapis d'ours et de regarder le feu.

La chambre à l'étage est un paradis pour les astronome. Nous l'appelons le "nid d'aigle." Vous aurez plaisir à observer pour les étoiles filantes et d'identifier les constellations avant assoupir pour l'une des de sommeil la meilleure nuit que vous avez jamais eu sur un matelas Tempur. Réveillez assez tôt et vous pouvez regarder le soleil se lever sur le Grand Teton du lit.

Situé à la base des Tetons, et en bordure d'une forêt domaniale, la région attire une faune abondante dont l'orignal, le cerf, renards et de nombreux types d'oiseaux, dont la chouette lapone, pygargues à tête blanche et le tétras des armoises.

Ce est une maison à trois niveaux avec couchage sur le haut et rez de chaussée et un bureau / salle de jeux, cuisine et salon à l'étage principal. Les chambres sont séparées par l'étage principal offre la vie privée. Le grand bureau / salle de divertissement comprend un bureau, des jeux, des livres, accès Internet et vues Teton. La chambre du bas se ouvre sur un jardin et patio, avec un hamac pour les beaux jours d'été.

Peaceful!

If you are looking for a place away from the busyness of town, this is the place. Large enough space for our family of 6. You will enjoy sitting on the deck with a view of the Tetons, which are only about 1 1/2 hours away. We all enjoyed our stay!

Graduation getaway

We celebrated our triplets graduating college and our youngest graduating high school. We stayed here to enjoy the Tetons and Targhee National Forest. The home was perfect and had everything we needed. We cooked and the kitchen had all we needed. It was a great place to enjoy the area and have a wonderful home base.

Unique place in quiet/secluded area

I purposely chose this place due to its location for privacy and quiet. It did not disappoint. The house is very unique and welcoming. My favorite was being able to go out on the deck at night and view the night sky (the milky way - and saw multiple shooting stars all in a matter of minutes!) I cant see a sky like this at home. And yes, the upper bedroom has the bed located right at the windows so you can view the night sky as well and also see the sun rise over the mountains in the morning. I should point out that the upper bathroom only has a tub with a handheld shower head (in case that matters to you). The only shower is on the bottom floor of the house. Also, (in case it matters to anyone) is that the TV is not located in the living room area - it is located in the office area. The TV is also just for viewing DVDs (and they have a lot of DVDs to choose from). TV viewing was not important to us, so just pointing it out for those that might care. If you are looking to get away from crowds, TVs etc, this is the perfect place. Everything was well-stocked and we had a great stay.

Fantastic getaway!

Great property and a great place to stay! Driggs is just down the road with everything you would need! And a little further south is Victor. They have live music in the park on Thursday night during the summer. It was awesome!! Love the local breweries and distillery not to mention the Grand Tetons which are right there! And Yellowstone! Awesome vacation!!

Family Reunion

The property is large than it appears in pictures. It was a perfect location for family to come from Driggs to meet up for supper.my parents and my sister's family stayed in Driggs at a condo, it was not large enough for family meals and not as kid friendly. Our reunion would have not have been a true reunion with out sharing meals. The views from the kitchen, deck and upper bedroom are spectacular and photos just dont do them justice. The property owners where available for any questions. I am planning a trip back with a friend next spring and hope to make it a yearly tradition.

Beautiful surroundings and cozy home

The home and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect home base for visiting the Grand Teton National Park. The nights got chilly but we were always warm and cozy. The hosts were extremely accommodating and if we are lucky enough to visit that gorgeous part of the country again, we will stay there.

Perfect location for visits to the Teton range and Yellowstone

This is truly the only way to visit this area. My teenagers refused to stay at a busy resort or condo because they wanted to enjoy the mountain area with a more authentic experience. We enjoyed the views, the porches, the deck, the serenity, and of course the easy access to the Teton National Park and Yellowstone. We also took advantage of the local trails and enjoyed the hospitality of the neighboring towns, which included what should be a required jaunt for Huckleberry ice-cream. Since we were traveling during a July/August heatwave in the region, we were concerned about the lack of A/C. We learned quickly that leaving too many windows open overnight resulted in extremely cold nights. We have to also mention the local grocery store in Driggs, which was much larger than we expected. It rained an afternoon we were there, and employees walked customers to and from their cars with umbrellas. We don't get that in the big city! Glad I listened to those teenagers of mine; they were absolutely right about this mountain retreat in the woods.

Perfect Getaway!

Beautiful home in lovely location! I did not want to leave. About an hour to Grand Teton and hour and half to Yellowstone (West Entrance). Home was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Good sized room/sleep areas - easily fit my family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers/preteens) Great stay, would very much recommend to others.

Breathtaking Views

This beautiful home had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The setting is so peaceful with views of the Tetons over the trees. The check in process was simple and the owner provided helpful information about the area. We drove to Grand Teton and Yellowstone with no problems. I would love to stay here again!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and I especially enjoying laying in bed at night watching the stars. Nice quiet area tucked back into the woods. Plan to return.

West Tetons

We had been to the Tetons numerous times and we were looking for the peaceful Tetons. Less crowded and maybe not as expensive. We found this home to both peaceful and a great location. The towns of Driggs & Victor were great little communities.The accessibility of the Tetons from the west side opened up a new dynamic to the mountains and the region.Great family vacation.

very peaceful with gorgeous views

This unique rental was just perfect for us with beautiful views of the Tetons and beautiful trees surrounding the property. It didn't seem that we had any neighbors. There was a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs with an office (futon) on the main floor. There was a half bath on the main floor with a bath with a tub upstairs and one with a shower downstairs. The grill on the surrounding porch was perfect to keep from cooking to just enjoy our time on vacation more. We did have one slight problem but management and the owners took care of it promptly. There was a hammock on the back main porch, which we all enjoyed and there is even an additional porch out the basement bedroom.

Great cabin in a good location

This cabin was very comfortable, and the host was very responsive. Unfortunately, we choose some of the hottest days of the summer to visit. There is no air conditioning, so we opened the windows at night and in the early morning. The kitchen is adequate. The downstairs bedroom was significantly cooler than the main floor or the second floor. It was very convenient to have a washer and drier in the basement. We had two days in Yellowstone, which was about a 80 min drive to the West entrance. We also spent a wonderful day floating the Teton River through an outfitter in Driggs. We also saw a balloon festival that was a lot of fun!

Wonderful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Teton Valley getaway. Nestled in a lovely aspen grove the house was perfect - comfortable, quiet, with all the amenities we needed. Close Encounters of the Best Kind

We loved our stay at this property! The owner had great communication and this was the perfect place to unwind after our family reunion activities. I was worried that the closeness of the forest would hinder my views, but it was the opposite - I saw deer, two moose, and a bear within steps of the property. It truly is an oasis!

We've been traveling to Teton Valley a few times a year for the last decade because we love the winter and summer outdoor activities it provides; especially cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and fly fishing. Our property is near two of our favorite national parks: Grand Teton and Yellowstone, and we love to visit them frequently.
