Ce petit et rustique cabine située au sommet d'une montagne à Franklin. La vue est à couper le souffle, l'air est vif et frais et l'atmosphère est calme et serein. Il est important de noter que la façon d'entraînement est constitué de gravier et est très raide. Il serait impératif d'avoir une quatre roues motrices (4x4) pour arriver au sommet. Nous nous réjouissons de vous accueillir!


La cabine dispose d'une chambre et un grenier qui est accessible avec échelle. Pas de petits enfants ont besoin d'accéder à ce loft. La cabine dispose d'une salle de bains spacieuse avec laveuse et sécheuse. La cuisine est équipée avec machine à café, micro-ondes, cuisinière et four.

Beautiful Honeymoon!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here so much!! Beautiful view and the cabin was perfect! The owner was very responsive and even brought a few items we needed. Great service and will hopefully be able to stay here annually!

Stunning views!!!

I have rented a lot of cabins in the mountains, this one by far was the cleanest place I’ve ever rented! The bathroom was spotless. I would definitely stay here again.

Solitude and Amazing Views!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this adorable little cabin! Peace and quiet, nightly fires in the firepit, breathtaking views, and exciting drive to the top! We hope to come back soon!

Great view!

Great view looking towards Franklin NC, the drive up to the cabin is interest you absolutely need four wheel drive to get up to the cabin,my Silverado had no problem getting up and down the drive.Very peaceful and nice cabin for two we really enjoyed it.

Love the driveway

Definitely need a 4x4 for the driveway. It was an experience taking my husbands show truck up and down it. Also the view was fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful little house, perfect location!

This house was absolutely perfect, and the view is even better than the pictures! The cabin is cozy and was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog. We brought food for all of our meals and were able to cook and enjoy them on the front porch. The house has a tin roof so cross your fingers for a rain storm- it was magical! Good proximity to the blue ridge parkway and lots of different trails.

Fabulous View!

If you like seclusion and privacy, this is your property! The view was amazing! It is somewhat of a rustic cabin, but had all the amenities needed! Having a washer in the dryer is a plus over some available properties, it also had dish TV ! I would return to this property. Susan was very responsive to any communications needed.

Awesome view

What you’re paying for on this property is the amazing view, the cabin could use some updating. The sofa is worn, the buttons have popped out and left holes. The driveway is an adventure for sure and it’s a good place to unwind!!

The view!!

We got in super late at night and had no trouble finding the property!! Took a minute for us to figure out that we had to go around the house to find the lockbox but we got in, no problem! I love waking up and looking outside to see where we are and the view here was SUCH an incredible treat!! Great place to disconnect and soak up some real quiet time! We loved it 😍😍

Another great stay

Very happy the owners open this to the public. It is the best... for solitude and scenery... and isolation. Believe the owners when they say "4WD necessary". This is our second but not last stay in this cabin... .All the 5 stars in my rating are well deserved. Maintenance on the driveway has been done but you better have 4wd. Believe me the stay is worth the more than price. We will be back!

Amazing view! Scary as he'll driveway! U MUST have a 4 wheel drive for this driveway. Put it in 4 wheel and just creep right up. It's part of this places ambiance. Come over the last little hill at the top of the driveway and the view will take your breath away. It's safe just scary cause at times it feels like your going straight vertical! But totally worth it! If your looking for a quiet location in a cozy authintic mountain setting, this is the place for you! Immediately felt like home.

This is the perfect place to decompress from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I have been coming up to Franklin for years.. This cabin is the best place I have stayed in all my trips.. The View when you pull up to the cabin is amazing !!! The view you wake up to looking out over the town is truly breathtaking.. You certainly do need 4 wheel drive.. I enjoyed the trip up and down from the cabin.. It is steep but if you own a 4x4 then I would assume you know how to drive it.. The cabin is very comfortable. You have a bedroom, a loft with a bed, a bathroom with washer and dryer, small kitchen. The front deck or around the fire pit are the best spots... Sunrise, sunset, and star gazing... What a beautiful place!!!

Best cabin with the most incredible view!!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It is an thrill getting up to the cabin. Just put on the gas and go. Don't let off the gas till reach the top. At this point, you'll be hooked with the view, remoteness and rustic charm. Our little AWD SUV had no problem going up or coming down.. You are in the mountains. If your afraid of heights, and guardrailless mountain dirt roads stay in the city. As for us, we'll be coming back here to this enchanted place for many years to come. While your in the area check out the many waterfalls, its a hike to most of them but definitely worth it. Fish for trout in the beautiful streams, and take a scenic ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are many antique shops in the area and Maggie Valley is always fun.

We came for a little mini vacay. The view? BREATHTAKING. The cabin? Cute. Very close to Downtown Dillsboro where we ate at the best steakhouse and met the nicest people. Will be back in the future!

The view from the deck is amazing! Small but comfortable!

My wife and I enjoyed it here! The 4x4 is definitely needed and if you stop you will put it in low lock! I loved the driveway!

Amazing view

This is a quaint little cabin, ideal for 2 adults and fur babies. Says it sleeps 4, but pictures need to be updated. Only one sofa and the loft is not ideal for sleeping if you’re bigger than a 12 year old and not recommended for smaller children. Rest of cabin is well kept. Satellite TV was not working during our stay. The large patio is perfect for watching sunrise/sunsets, storms and clouds rolling in. Views are beautiful at all times of the day. Bring your own firewood if you would like to enjoy the night sky by fire and plenty of bug spray! The Drive way is steep and the turns are hairpin, but add to the adventure.

WARNING!!!!! SHOTS FIRED!!!

I took my wife to this cabin for her birthday. I was promised by the owner it would be a relaxing stress free time we could spend alone. Instead we were forced to leave 12 hours after we arrived because there was someone, a neighbor I believe, down the mountain shooting at us. YES! SHOOTING!!!! There were numerous shots fired that were so close, that I could hear them wizzing by my head! This is no exaggeration!!! So I yelled as loud as I could “that there are people up here, stop shooting”!!! Only to be answered by more shots! I threw our bags from the doorway out into the bed of my truck and left as fast as possible!!! When I contacted the owner about the matter and mentioned a refund if only for 1 of the 2 nights we were supposed to stay, she broke contact and would not answer my calls or texts. I did receive my deposit back. But nothing more. So my wife was shot at, scared to death, and just overall shaken by the whole experience, as was I. So her relaxing weekend was ruined and turned out the complete opposite!!!

We love our guest and care deeply about the experience that they have at our little cabin in the woods. Guest was scheduled to visit our cabin from November 17th through the 19th 2019. Guest and I had an hour conversation on the 17th. He told me all about the type of business he does and that he was taking his wife to our cabin to enjoy some time away from work. I was surprised that he had this type of experience at our cabin on the 18th of November. I was also surprised the he did not communicate his experience to the authorities or give me a call like he had done on the 17th. This type of ordeal has never happened and I took this very seriously. I drove 4 hours one way to Franklin to meet with authorities to see if anything could be done. At the Sheriffs department I called guest so the sheriff could hear it for his self what the guest had told me. They asked him why didn't you call 911, Guest never asked me for a refund. He texted me a few times asking did I find out anything. But since a report was not filed at the time it happened nothing could be done. In the future if this happens wherever you are please call authorities. We are only 6 miles from town. We are very sorry that guest did not have an exceptional experience, It is our goal that all guest have a wonderful time!

Thanksgiving with a VIEW!

Loved the cabin and view! The weather was beautiful. We had a fire Thanksgiving morning to take the chill off. The cabin is stocked with the essentials. We went to Cherokee and Smoky Mountains! Both are a short drive.
