Maison de rĂȘve moderne Lake Samish Waterfront

Les hauts plafonds et les grandes fenĂȘtres font de cette maison un endroit oĂč le poids du monde s'estompe.

Il y a une chambre avec un lit queen, un canapé-lit queen (avec un matelas en gel) dans la grande salle ainsi qu'un matelas queen gonflable. Un super endroit pour deux à six pour un week-end amusant.

Mon thĂšme de la maison `` Girly Industrial '' s'exprime dans les accents roses, les pivoines noires peintes Ă  la main sur les sols en bĂ©ton gris chauffĂ© Ă  la poutrelle en treillis avec un revĂȘtement de voiture pour le plafond crĂ©ant un espace de type loft.

J'ai fait des pas de «vieille dame» pour entrer facilement dans l'eau du quai afin que plus de gens puissent profiter du lac par une chaude journée.

Ma maison est conçue pour l'accessibilitĂ© sans bordure pour les portes de douche de 36 pouces de large et tout est sur un seul niveau. J'ai amenĂ© mon amie qui est en fauteuil roulant pour un week-end et elle Ă©tait heureuse d'ĂȘtre si indĂ©pendante. Pour plus de dĂ©tails, veuillez appeler.

Je ne suis pas toujours devant un ordinateur (je suis un peu luddite) donc mon temps de réponse n'est pas instantané. Je suis devant mon ordinateur le lundi. N'hésitez pas à appeler si le temps presse. c'est le meilleur moyen de me joindre.

The home was very comfortable but nicely updated and modern. Very clean . It was an easy place to have a dog stay because the area provided ability for nice walks.

The home was wonderfully designed, making for a unique and beautiful stay. The large windows in the living areas lent beautiful views of the lake and a feeling of openness to the environment. The laundry and bath and kitchen were very functional, well designed for use for the two of us. The kitchen and dining area could be a wonderful place to host another guest or two for dinner. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of seating options in the living space. Jen communicated well from first contact to follow up message after our departure. Overall, it was a delight to stay at Jen's place.

Excellent experience

Stayed 3 nights. Really enjoyed the place. Wish we could have been at the home more to enjoy the lake, but we were visiting family so not at the property itself except to sleep. Comfy, clean, would recommend for a couple traveling without kids.

Beautiful lake house!

My husband and I and our two dogs had the best week at Jennifer’s lake house. It was the perfect location for easy access to downtown Bellingham and the Port! Jennifer has excellent style and an artistic flair that shows in every aspect of her house. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Jennifer's lovely and comfortable Lake Samish home. The location was the perfect home base as we explored North Cascades NP and the San Juan Islands. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the area.

Gorgeous Lake House

The Lake House is right on the shore of Lake Samish. The architecture, art, location, and amenities are fantastic. Close to everywhere we wanted to explore and a great place to hang out and relax after our adventures.

I am an interior designer based in Seattle since 1975. Since 2020 I have been managing my projects from afar and working predominately from my Bellingham office.

In 2009 I designed and began building this house on Lake Samish. Fulfilling a life long dream of designing and building my own home. I tease my clients that I have had 40 years of practice on them when they see my house and like it.

I love my house and I enjoy sharing it with others..

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I grew up on the lake I lived across West Lake Samish Drive (up on the hillaisw from this property) where my family still lives. They have lived at the lake since 1962.

I always dreamed of building a custom house on this slip of land that is my families access to the lake. I have been sketching for decades. So what you see is result of budget hitting dreams and shaking down into a comfortable relaxing place to be.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I grew up using the dock, swimming, skiing, and enjoying the lake however the first time as an adult I sat still and looked up the lake I felt the serenity of the view wash over me and I knew I wanted to live here.

So I have brought my precious things, my piano, art and Kitchenaid mixer (ha) to a space I can enjoy in anticipation of creating a place to retire. Until retirement I will share it with others and hope they can have a little piece of my dream for themselves.
