Vous cherchez à sortir dans les montagnes avec votre famille? Timber Hollow est le choix parfait pour les grandes familles ou des groupes, voyageant ensemble!

Notre cabine de journal personnalisé se trouve sur un domaine privé de 65 acres Buffalo Ranch. Profitez de visualiser notre buffle lorsque vous conduisez ou arrêtez le matin à l'heure du repas! Cette cabine est niché dans les bois et a beaucoup d'espace pour les familles qui voyagent ensemble.
Donc, si vous cherchez à dévaler les pentes à Cataloochee Ski Resort à Maggie Valley (à seulement 12 miles) ou visiter le Biltmore Estate à Asheville (seulement 30 minutes), il ya beaucoup pour tout le monde à faire dans les Great Smoky Mountains!

Timber Hollow est idéal pour les familles en vacances ensemble, parce que nous avons 2 suites de maître ainsi qu'une 2ème cuisine en bas! Vous pouvez stocker de la nourriture supplémentaire dans le réfrigérateur en bas!

Aussi, soyez assuré que les enfants seront bien amusés en bas, dans la salle de jeu où nous avons une table de billard et ping-pong. Il ya une table de baby-foot dans le loft. Profitez également d'une soirée dans notre bain 6-8 personnes chaud de retour!

Les enfants vont adorer la randonnée à travers les bois à l'aire de jeu, Le BC Corral! Cet espace conçu sur mesure a tout de balançoires, tyrolienne, toboggans, bascule bascule, filets de cargaison, mur d'escalade et même une fosse de fer à cheval pour les adultes! Les enfants vont adorer ici!

Si vous cherchez un endroit calme 'obtenir loin de tout «retraite, ça y est! Profitez de longues randonnées sur la propriété, la pêche sur la rivière Pigeon (à distance de marche de la cabane en rondins) ou de prendre un voyage en ville pour faire du shopping ou antiquités.

Nous sommes les animaux de compagnie, la taille n'a pas d'importance!

La cabine est décorée avec goût pendant les vacances aussi!

The house was a perfect size for our family Christmas getaway. The bison ranch was a cool experience for all ages (12 to 78).

We were 2 families with 3 girls (ages 9, 10, and 12) and we all had a wonderful time! The kids just absolutely loved running around the place, feeding the animals, playing with the dogs; playing at the playground, and playing tetherball! They were “ranch hands” in the mornings and loved it. We had fires in the outdoor pit, and we could see the bison from there. We had fires inside in the fireplace too (fireplace was upstairs for some reason, instead of in the main floor living room, but, we still enjoyed it. We played pool and soaked in the jacuzzi We got in-cabin massages by Beth who was amazing! And we all did horseback riding, getting gorgeous amazing views! Cheryl was an amazing host, always around and very kind. I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

Rented this cabin for my family for our son’s 18th birthday. Although my husband and I only got to visit for a few hours because of work obligations, this place was exactly what I wanted! The rest of my family had a wonderful weekend! Definitely plan on visiting again!

Nice, Very Organized

We enjoyed our stay, overall, there is a possibility of a mouse on the 2nd floor whose noises made it difficult for one of our guests to fall asleep to.

Great Time

Pretty far drive from Asheville. It’s more convenient to travel to Waynesville, which is still a 16 to 18 minute drive. It is certainly remote. All that to say, if you are looking for remote, this is it! Nice family owned business. Cool activities for kids 13 and under.

Perfect family retreat

We loved our mini vacation at Timber Hollow. We were looking for somewhere for our large family to stay while we explored nearby Ashville, but the majority of our time was spent on the property! Everyone enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, ping-pong, foozball, and the Buffalo and other animals so much, that we stayed in much more than we normally do on vacation. The kitchen was well appointed, the property managers were helpful, and the views were beautiful! We picked up some ground Buffalo at the outpost, which made delicious burgers. Fire pit and grill were other added amenities.

Four Generations Together at Timber Hollow

Our four generations - from 7 months to 73 years old - had a wonderful time in Timber Hollow! Every day was special, beginning with the daily bison feeding at the end of our driveway, followed by visits to the goats, donkey, horses, llamas, and alpacas. Then back up to our beautiful home that had everything we needed for our two weeks' getaway. We so enjoyed everything - the hot tub, the large bedrooms, the fully stocked kitchen, grilling out - the firepit - it was all perfect. And it was in the best location - close to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We hope to return soon!

Family fun

We had such a great time at Timber Hollow! The kids loved feeding the animals each day. The hottub was so relaxing and the two master bedrooms (comfy beds) worked out perfectly for our family. The owners were very helpful and responsive; they thought of everything from supplying the s'mores to stocking the kitchen with a spice rack and crockpot. We felt right at home! The only con I could think of is that we saw spiders and cobwebs in the cabin but leave it to my toddler to find everything. All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat for another mountain weekend asventure. Thanks for having us!

Timber Hollow

Beautiful location and accommodations are great! Quaint log house is well outfitted with furnishings and kitchen utensils. Bring your own bathroom and shower supplies. Only real negative is no trash dumpster on site. You have to take your own trash to the "dump" on your way to town or live with it in the unit. Overall, a great choice. Be sure to watch the Bison feeding! Educational and entertaining. P.S. They are BIG!

Bison, Llamas, & Goats oh my!

I would like to say "THANK YOU", for creating a space that my teenage kids actually enjoyed going to & didn't ask for the wifi password when we arrived! They actually DIDNOT go through withdrawals from not being on their x-box! The cabin was easy to find upon arrival & the directions that Cheryl sent for check in were perfect! Our 1st morning there we arrived in time to see the bison feeding..wow, such majestic animals! It was so cool that all we had to do was walk down the driveway! The cabin was really clean & comfy! Had everything in the kitchen that we needed to save money & cook in. The one thing that was awesome, my family LOVES French toast & I do not like cooking that in a frying pan, but I forgot my griddle, & they had one! These owners have thought of absolutely everything! The kids loved making a fire outside & hiking to the playground. Thanks again, we really enjoyed our family time at this cabin & plan on coming back this summer to explore the area more & going hiking to all the great water falls!

My Family Loved It Here!

The surroundings were peaceful as well as beautiful-there are other rentals on the property but we never saw nor heard anyone else! I hiked the property every morning for a great cardio and we were all in the hot tub as much as possible. We had 4 children, 4 adults and 1 dog and all had enough room to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked to cook just about anything, even had plastic ware to use when eating outside on the patio! The dog loved his crate that was already assembled for him to use- so happy he could come with us on vacation. We were a beautiful scenic 45 min drive to just about all the places we wanted to visit ( Asheville and the Great Smoky Mt. Nat'l Park) so it was conveniently located for us. The kids enjoyed the swing on the property as well as the fire pit every night for s'mores (that were provided =), along with the feeding of the baby goats, playing giant checkers and foosball and the wifi available, noone was ever bored. Everyone had a great time and living was easy there. Very glad we stayed! ((We were only the 2nd family there~so I'm sure things will get worked out, but we did need reading lights on the nightstands in the Master and hangers or dressers in the bunk rooms. Also ice cube trays. ;))

Just What We Needed!

Timber Hallow at Buffalo Creek Vacations was absolutely the perfect getaway for our family! From the bison viewing/feeding to the friendly llamas and hungry goats, to a beautifully cozy cabin with a pool table, foosball, and hot tub - this listing had it all! Highly recommended if you are looking for a secluded vacation spot with onsite activities.

My brothers & my husband had shared a vision of expanding my fathers buffalo ranch when additional property became available to purchase. With all our knowledge & experiences combine we have built 4 log homes & have been renting them out since 2004. All the furniture in this cabin has been handmade by the wood on the property! Even the covered wagon bed, that was custom built my my father. Once my husband retires from the US Army in about 8 yrs our dream will be to build our log cabin on the property & be more hands on. God has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams. We hope you love the mountains like we have all come to love being transplants from a very flat NY!

So many of our previous guest have wrote back & told us they had all these plans to sight see but then just loved hanging out in the cabin together enjoying the big game room & the children all love the uniquely designed playground as well as seeing the miniature horse, buffalo, goats & llamas.
