Oasis de calme au coeur d'Anchorage

Bienvenue dans notre maison moderne du milieu du siècle récemment rénovée, dans un endroit merveilleusement pratique! Il y a un accès facile à l'autoroute Seward et le meilleur Anchorage a à offrir. Nous ne sommes qu'à quelques minutes du centre-ville, et pourtant la maison est toujours paisible et sereine. Nous ne sommes qu'à quelques pâtés de maisons de la ceinture de verdure de Chester Creek, qui est idéale pour la marche, le jogging, le vélo et le ski de fond, et elle peut vous conduire à plusieurs parcs locaux ainsi qu'au sentier côtier Tony Knowles.

La grande cuisine ouverte et le coin repas facilitent la préparation des repas. Le barbecue sur le pont arrière donne sur la spacieuse cour commune et votre propre véranda ensoleillée avec table et chaises propose des repas en plein air en Alaska.

La chambre principale spacieuse a sa propre salle de bain complète, un lit king-size et une large commode. La chambre du milieu a un lit double et un bureau déroulant. This is a well-loved well-stocked home that makes being a visitor soooo easy! Super clean, great setup, has everything a guest needs. Great location - everything you need is within close proximity. Served as a great home base for many day trips. Host is super responsive. Overall - a gem!!

Very clean place. The owner is very responsive and the description is accurate. Kitchen is well stocked and the location of the home is excellent and convenient. There are people living on the lower level with separate entrance, but they are very quiet and it was no issue at all.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed staying at the house in Anchorage. The property is beautiful and has everything you could need. The house has 4 great bedrooms and 2 baths. We never felt crowded even with 6 adults. We would definitely stay here again.

Oasis of calm was made for our family. We fit perfectly and had plenty of room to hang out. The extra touches (ie: cinnamon rolls and muffins), closet in hallway with a variety of activities for all ages, and just location met our needs well. We enjoyed sitting on the deck too. Great place to stay for large group!

My family of 8 had no problem with space in the house. It had all the necessities needed for cooking and it was comfortable. The next door neighbors were a little loud so we needed ear plugs but other than that the place is truly wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

Alaska rendezvous for a family wedding

Spacious, clean and welcoming home for our group of 8! This home had everything you could possibly need and was conveniently located to all of our events and activities over the course of the week. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities and a quiet neighborhood. Look forward to our next Alaska visit!

Top Notch In Anchorage

We had a wonderful stay here! Our host was fabulous and very quick on any questions that we had. The newly remodeled bathrooms were so tastefully done. The location was perfect for what we were looking to do. Very easy to drive downtown for dinners and centrally located for our trips outside of Anchorage. The whole house is extremely well kept. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Thank you again for allowing us to stay

Our return to Alaska

The house was great for our need, a place to sleep. The only thing I noticed was the filter in the refrigerator needs replacing, other than that , it was perfect. Some more TV options would be a great add on(local news, etc.).

Family Alaska Vacation

We had no issues with this property. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to find and get to. Jennifer was very easy to work with and had open lines of communication and quick responses. We would absolutely stay again. It fit all of our six people with room for a few more. Very nice house, loved staying there!

This property worked out well for our extended family of 8. Everyone got a bed and we all fit comfortably around the dining room table. The house was well stocked with all we needed and the host was friendly and easy to get in touch with. I even enjoyed the outdoor space on the front deck. I would book again if I was in Anchorage.

Bucket List Trip

It was so good to find everything just as advertised! The house felt like home for 8 wonderful days. It was obvious that every effort has been used to keep the place in excellent shape. Don't Hesitate - Book this property!

North Star was the perfect home base for my siblings and I on our first trip to Alaska. It is conveniently located to the airport, downtown Anchorage, the Seward Highway, and many dining and shopping options. Check-in and Check out were super simple, and Jennifer responded to questions and messages quickly. She was easy to work with. The place was extremely well stocked, and we found everything we needed. The layout of the bedrooms worked great for our group, the beds were very comfortable, and I appreciated the newly remodeled bathrooms. The house is well maintained and very clean. Our whole group loved our stay here, and if (when) we ever travel to Alaska, we would definitely book it again.

I have worked as a travel adviser, tour director, kayak guide and instructor, bike guide, downhill ski instructor, and local guide. We live most of the year in Girdwood, a small ski town about 45 minutes away from Anchorage. We are happy to share our Alaskan experience with our guests to help make your stay as fulfilling as possible!

We bought this house to be close to our children's school in Anchorage during the winter. It is also two blocks away from my husband's work and close to everywhere we want to go in Anchorage.

We fell in love with this home's bright, airy feel, its large yard, and the proximity to our favorite trails in Anchorage. The warm, sunny front porch has turned into a favorite spot for outdoor meals.
