Vous pourrez profiter de votre café du matin ou le coucher du soleil le soir verre de vin de la belle terrasse de 1000 pieds carrés avec vue sur le lac Pend Oreille. Cette paisible retraite privée est minutes de la ville animée de Sandpoint et la plage de la ville. La retraite de la cabine dispose de 2 chambres équipées de lits doubles superposés reine, commodes et peut accueillir 8 personnes. Haut débit Wifi et Netflix sont également inclus. Il est un propane Bar-BQ et un surdimensionné patio extérieur en pierre avec cheminée, cuisine entiÚrement équipée et laveuse et sécheuse. Situé à seulement 15 minutes en voiture de Schweitzer, à 40 minutes en voiture de Silverwood Parc d'attractions, un vélo trajet de 20 minutes à City Beach ou 5 minutes en voiture du centre-ville Sandpoint. PrÚs de grandes randonnées et pistes cyclables. Profitez de toutes les grandes choses cette ville étonnante a à offrir ... grands magasins, restaurants, festivals et le meilleur de tous les temps étonnant !! En hiver, vous pouvez skier à proximité de Schweitzer Mountain, motoneige, ski de fond et raquette. Année activités rondes à votre porte. La retraite animaux de compagnie. Nous avons un laboratoire de chocolat nommée Murphy et avec la maison sur la baie Murphy, la retraite de Murphy venus à la vie.

Stayed with daughter, sister and mom for Christmas. Really nice location overlooking the lake, would be great in nicer weather to sit on one of the decks. Really cozy overall. 4 stars instead of 5 as the bunk beds were really difficult to reach (even for a young 20 year old), there was a random hair on one of the sheets (not belonging to any of us) and could use a refresher set of pans. Would absolutely stay again.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, everything was spotless, the beds were comfy! So nice outside by the fire pit and the decks in the evening. It was very nice. We could have a safe fire to sit by. Excellent stay on your excellent property

July 4th getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Murphy’s Retreat was the perfect home base for our holiday weekend adventures. The view from the deck is stunning and the huge fire pit and reclining chairs made for a perfect spot to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you could need, the beds were comfortable, and the home was nice and clean. The location was great and close to all sorts of activities including Dover bay, the farmers market, city beach park and more. We loved watching the neighbors fireworks. Best of all, we appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. Will highly recommend this home to friends.

Amazing Get Away

Very comfortable cabin. Beautiful place to relax and catch up with family who lives nearby. Loved the grill, fire pit, deck...everything! Erin and Thomas were very accommodating, and we were able to add an extra day to our stay. It was also wonderful to have our sweet doggo enjoy a vacation with us.

Great getaway but verify lake access

The property itself was just beautiful and very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The problem was it didn’t have direct access to the lake, which was supposed to be offset by being able to take the kayaks up the road to the public lake access. Maybe the owners didn’t know but that lake access is closed for the entire 2025 season. That was the only downside. It’s a beautiful place and for the place and the surroundings itself. I would absolutely recommend it. We had a great time together!

Family visit

Came to meet our new granddaughter who lives in Ponderay. This is a true gem, such a great little cabin with beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows with the grandkids. Can't wait to stay again was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for such a wonderful time

Perfectly charming get away

Loved our stay at Murphy’s Retreat. Comfy and quiet evenings on the large deck and fire pit. Everything you could ever need for food prep (although we elected to eat out—many places to choose from). Great place for the pups to hang with us. Lots of recommendations from hosts on places to go and things to do in the area. More amenities than a five star hotel. Place was spotless, obviously well cared for. Would highly recommend, well worth the price.

Beautiful fun property

This cabin is roomy, comfortable and equipped with everything you can imagine for a fun stay. The view of the lake through the trees is awesome. There is plenty of room for a group of eight and the owners are beyond gracious. We had a great time!

Great little property, super location.

We absolutely loved this property, it was very well stocked with everything you need. Great value for all this property offers. You can tell the hosts are welcoming and really care about your stay. Very clean and comfortable - the kitchen and main living space was perfect size for our group of 3. If there was one area for improvement it is that we were not fans of the queen bunk beds - it felt claustrophobic since one side was pushed up against the wall, and very limited head room - but the mattresses were very comfortable. Amazing outdoor spaces - decks and patio. Overall the property was one of the best we've ever stayed at - highly recommend.

Winter Getaway

Great little cabin that met all of our needs. Loved staying here for the week. Having Schweitzer to ski 25 miutes away, the town to hang out in, and being able to drive to Coeur d'Alene for one day.

All the amenities and much more!

We stayed here with our two dogs and it was the perfect spot! Conveniently located- just a short drive away from beaches, trails, good food and all the adventure Sandpoint has to offer. The place was spotless too! We loved the map of the lake that the owner put on the wall which describes all the locations to visit and where dogs are welcome. If we make it back this way, we will certainly stay here again. Thank you to the owners for working hard to make this such a wonderful place to stay with our “kids” (pups).

Erin and Thomas are Canadians that wish they lived in Sandpoint. We have vacationed in Idaho for the last 15 years starting with tents at Sam Owen Campground, a tent trailer at Round Lake campground, a travel trailer at Spring Point Campground and then found this gem of a place off of Lakeshore Drive. Sandpoint is our happy place and if you havent experienced Sandpoint yet, i bet it will become one of yours as well.

Finding Murphy's Retreat was the luckiest day for us. The house had been on the market for 6 months and we ended up purchasing it in February / March. We knew right away what it could offer even though it was the end of winter. Our first goal was to replace the deck and then in 2015 we built a stone patio. These 2 projects have altered the place such that there is a focus on enjoying the outdoors. The location is off of Lakeshore drive which is a beautiful area with many nice homes in the area. It is also very close in proximity to all common amenities.

The unique benefits Murphy's Retreat offers is truly the many places you can sit and enjoy what outdoor Idaho offers. The deck is oversized at ~1000 square feet and the stone patio is even larger.
