Centre ville au bord de la rivière! Cottage confortable et contemporain

Faites de ce chalet votre base pour profiter du centre de l'Oregon toute l'année ou accroupissez-vous avec un bon livre et profitez de cet espace doux et paisible. Le plan d'étage ouvert et léger et le patio privé offrent l'isolement, mais vous êtes à quelques pas du centre-ville et du parc Drake. Le lit King dans la chambre et le lit Queen dans le loft sont de haute qualité choisis pour assurer une bonne nuit de sommeil. Le canapé se transforme également en un lit double incroyablement confortable. Il y a une salle de bain complète dans la maison. La deuxième salle de bain récemment rénovée est située dans le garage détaché. Le patio privé permet de manger en plein air avec un barbecue à gaz et un foyer au propane. Bien que les repas raffinés et funky abondent dans le centre-ville de Bend et le quartier Old Mill, notre cuisine offre tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer vos repas à la maison. Vous êtes à quelques pâtés de maisons du centre-ville et de la rivière. Ski, golf, VTT, sports nautiques, randonnées sont à proximité pour tous les amateurs de plein air. La location de l'équipement de loisirs fourni (vélos, planches à pagaie debout et radeaux fluviaux) vous couvrirait à peu près le tarif de location par nuit! Laissez simplement votre voiture garée (stationnement dans la rue et garage disponibles) et promenez-vous à pied ou à vélo dans la ville. Le chalet est climatisé mais reste assez confortable pendant nos nuits d'été fraîches. Je suppose que vous reviendrez dans cette propriété lorsque les plans de voyage vous amèneront dans notre petit coin de paradis. Le chalet est situé derrière le garage à côté de la maison principale. Un joyau caché proche de toute l'action mais isolé et paisible. Cette propriété ne convient pas aux tout-petits et aux jeunes enfants en raison de l'escalier ouvert et de la mezzanine. Si vous avez besoin d'espace supplémentaire, un appartement 1 chambre est disponible dans la maison principale. Contactez le propriétaire si vous êtes intéressé par l'espace supplémentaire dans la maison principale.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. We walked right off the river to the house after our float, walked downtown to happy hour, then walked to and from our concert at Hayden Homes Amphitheater (10-15!min walk). The attention to detail in the design and amenities really stood out. We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Cozy Cottage

Wonderful location, next to Drake Park and close to downtown. Very clean, kitchen well stocked and lots of towels provided. The courtyard patio was a wonderful place to enjoy happy hour on a warm fall afternoon. Looking forward to reserving for our next visit.

Awesome place in a perfect location !

Great place to stay, we loved it! The house had everything we needed and more, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Loved having the bikes to get around the Mirror Pond area. Very responsive hosts too which was awesome! Would love to stay there again.

Perfect Bend Location

This place is adorable! The owner has stocked it with everything you could possibly need, comfortable beds and the use of garage is a plus. The location can't be beat, it's walkable to downtown, Old Mill District and Hayden Amphitheater. Five stars, hands down!

Cutest little cottage right next to Drake Park and the put out from the river float . We walked or road the bikes provided everywhere! Our 4th time staying there and will be back next summmer !

Lovely "cottage" in the heart of Bend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage in the heart of Bend. The location was perfect for walking - to Drake Park, downtown to shops and restaurants, and across the river to brew pubs. Much more than we expected

We had the best time in Bend,OR and the Drake cottage offered much more than we expected. The inside was cozy yet modern with lots of cool vibes. Bed was comfy, shower was amazing, and the hot tub was perfect. We did lots of hiking and skiied at Mt. Batchelor, so the hot tub was the perfect ending to our day. They even had a washer and dryer for use in the garage. Everything was situated perfectly. This was one of the best places we have stayed.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed here with another couple and had the best time! The location is unmatched, by far the best we have had staying in Bend with walkability to downtown, Galveston or even home from a river float! The accommodations were easy to navigate and the cottage itself was done super tastefully. Only thing to be aware of is that there is one room, one true bathroom (other is in garage) and then the second room is a loft, but nonissue as long as you’re with close friends and family! Can’t wait to return.

Love brought me to Bend in 1988. 25+ years later I am still in love (with my husband) as well as this remarkable town and surroundings. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!) I came west to go to school (UCLA) and made new roots in the Pacific Northwest. Work takes me frequently to LA where I work with kids with cleft lip and palates, creating smiles. Locally, I run a clinic where my patients volunteer in the community to help pay for their orthodontic treatment. Smile! Central Oregon is were you will find me when I am in town and not enjoying this area as I am sure you will.

Good fortune and fate found this property for me. The previous owner of this gem was headed off to the Caribbean. Having invested 40 years to restoring this historic property, we are so grateful he entrusted us with its stewardship. Listed in the National Historical Register, the main house served as the first maternity hospital in this region from 1919-1934. It was converted into apartments and the basement unit served as the dance studio where Tommy taught ballroom dance with his partner Barb for many years. Most ballroom dancers here in Central Oregon benefited from Tommy and Barb's love of dance and weekly lessons at the Elk's Club.

I fell in love with this property the moment I stepped inside. It had been restored with such care and attention to detail. I furnished it with all the things I would want in a home: comfortable beds, great pots and pans, big screen TV, and internet access for work and entertainment. Patio dining with a gas grill when you want to stay put for the evening. Enjoy the amazing night sky while keeping warm around the fire pit.
