Nos maisons venaient tout juste d'ĂȘtre terminĂ©es en novembre 2013 et nous recevons d'excellents commentaires sur la maison.

L'emplacement de cette maison est tout simplement exceptionnel pour visiter Bend. Vous serez au cƓur du magnifique et populaire West Side. Nous avons construit la maison spĂ©cifiquement pour ĂȘtre utilisĂ©e comme location de vacances, c'est pourquoi nous avons inclus deux suites parentales king et dormir pour 10 personnes dans des lits.

Incredibly comfortable and well appointed home. The best kitchen with excellent extras such as a Ninja Blender and a Kitchen Aide stand mixer.Two blocks off Galveston near 10 Barrel. Easy to downtown Bend and the expressway.Great spot.

We loved staying here! The house had everything we needed and plenty of entertainment for the kids. Having the bikes and hot tub was a huge plus. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again :)

This house had everything we needed. Lots of space and plenty of bathrooms (it was a group of girls so this was crucial). Very clean. I contacted the property owner once and she was available right away and very helpful.

VERY clean, everything we could need to enjoy Thanksgiving week. We cooked most meals and found every dish, pot, utensils we could have needed. It seemed like the oven might not be as hot it should be but we just turned it up, everything cooked just a little slower. A few lights need new bulbs but we weren’t complaining on a holiday weekend and there was still plenty of light. We were very happy with the house and location, we walked every day to somewhere new including restaurants and coffee shops. The only thing I’d say is 2 parking spots for sure in the back but the front spots are first come first serve with all the neighbors, we had to park down a few houses when we parked in the front not a big deal but felt bad parking in front of other peoples houses. Great house we would stay again

Wonderful house, excellent location

We stayed 4 nights and skied 3 days at Mt Bachelor. Room for the whole family. Close to old downtown and easy access to Mt Bachelor. An excellent alternative to staying in Sunriver.

Great for large groups

We had a group of 4 and the house was huge and so nice. Downstairs bedroom had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We appreciate it that there were five bedrooms total. You could easily house multiple families in the unit. The house is well equipped with lots of nice amenities in the kitchen plenty of towels soap. anything you need for your vacation. Andrea the host was super responsive for anything we needed. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Great time was had by all

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was just the right size for eight of us. We were looking for a house that would fit all of us and still be within easy walking distance of downtown Bend. This was the place that fit our needs and helped us have an incredibly fun vacation.

Fantastic home in river west!

This house is beautiful inside and out, very clean and beds are comfortable! Kitchen is well stocked with equipment (we cooked several meals) and the hot tub was a nice bonus. I would note there are stairs to access this house and during the winter that can get dicey. Overall I would highly recommend this house for its cleanliness, comfort and neighborhood. It’s a quick walk to many restaurants and downtown is also an easy walk.

Wonderful property

We loved the property. Location, location, location. Walking distance to Drake, Mirror Pond, Multiple Restaurants and Brewpubs. Very well appointed property with everything one would need and extras not typically provided in a rental property. Could not have been happier. 5 STARS!!

Big, convenient, clean and well appointed

This is about the 5th time we've stayed at the Flaming Chicken. It's big enough for 5 couples, its walking distance to Drake Park, downtown and the Galveston strip (Brother Johns, Growler Phils, 10 Barrel and Sunriver Brew Pub, which is the best of the lot) and easy access to Century Drive and Phil's trailhead. Its an easy bike ride to the Old Mill district. Its got one of the best appointed kitchens I've ever experienced in a rental property. And, its reasonably priced. We love the chicken and we will be back.

Outstanding

We go to Bend with a large group twice a year, and have stayed at the same house for several years now. After our trip last summer we decided to switch it up. What a great decision, this house is top notch. Beautiful brand new home, with all the amenities. The home was stocked with everything you could think of and more. If you forgot something they had it! The owner of the home was very prompt at communicating and takes pride in what he does. Added bonus, they have an almost exact home next door.

Family Fun in Bend

Our large family rented out this property and the one next door plus the 2 apartments over the garages-12 bedrooms in all. We are 4 siblings who get together with our families every summer. Now that our youngest "child" is 30, we can no longer get away with bedroom shairing, sleeeing bags on the floor, etc. These rentals worked perfectly. We went back and forth easily. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals and we all commented on how well stocked these were. Everything you could possibly need for cooking and comfort. We enjoyed being close to town and the river. While we only had 2 little ones, the toys, puzzles and books were much appreciated.

Great location, Great House

We go to Bend a lot and love to rent houses in different locations. The Flaming Chicken is one of the very best we've ever stayed in. The location can't be beat. Two and a half blocks to Galvaston and four blocks from Drake Park. Easy walk to downtown, to the Newport Market and even easier to Ten Barrel or Brother Johns. The house has plenty of room for 10 with very nice beds, bathrooms, one of the best rental kitchens I've ever cooked in, and a great deck that comes right off the kitchen, where a very nice hot tub and a big table and chairs await. Great TV's, a kid room downstairs and a nice living/dining room set up make for a great place. We love to cook and I commonly find myself disappointed in the kitchens at rental homes. The Flaming Chicken is a huge exception. I've never seen a rental kitchen as well appointed. There wasn't a single kitchen gadget that was missing. Its not a huge work space, but it works really well. All in all, I can't recommend the Flaming Chicken strongly enough Its also got a separate Mother in Law apartment over the garage and if you have a really big group, you could rent the similar unit right next door.

Family Reunion

The house is very spacious. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and three children. There is good storage for kitchen items we brought. The only drawback was the lack of a bathroom in the basement area. There is a bedroom there that two adults slept in but they had to come upstairs to use the bathroom. The house is centrally located. I was amazed that no one shoveled the sidewalk or the entryway. But no one in Bend apparently shovels their sidewalks. A couple of items - it would have been nice to have instructions for the fireplace. We used it a lot, but were never sure what setting we were on. Also, we could not get Netflix to work on the TV even though there is a button, but luckily the TV is new enough that we could cast a movie from a phone. So any instructions for that would be good. Also, the instructions we receive prior to arrival said the garage door opener and key would be on the kitchen island. They were not. The opener was in a basket on the mantel. We never found a key, so never used the garage. We did love the house and would stay there again. I only bring the points I noted up so, if desired, the host can address them. They were minor in the scheme of things.

Deluxe family friendly accommodations close to down town!

We so enjoyed out stay at this beautiful home. We stay at many vrbos all over the world, and this place was in the top nicest places we have stayed. The home is well laid out for family gatherings with a large great room kitchen/dining/living area connected to adjacent deck with new gas grill, outdoor dining table and hot tub. It was great to have a tall garage that we did not have to take our luggage carrier off to park in. Our teens hung out downstairs playing foosball and watching the 70" TV when not hiking, biking or hanging out downtown. And there were also cable TV's in the living room and both of the king masters bedrooms. The home had cruiser bikes for all of us to ride the 6 blocks or so into town. There is a great brew pub down the street, but it was so popular and crowded, we went into town at Brother John's pub. Our best meal was the Thai food at Wild Rose. The place is dog friendly with a small grass yard and we checked out 5 large fenced dog parks around town, one very close by. Craig and Tracy were wonderfully helpful with Craig even bringing and putting together an extra bike for our group to ride. Every comfort, tastefully decorated, high end appliances and kitchenware. We only had 3 teens, but we will be back with our extended family members to visit again! Thanks for a great stay!
