La villa est bien situĂ©e Ă  distance de marche de la plage. La piscine privĂ©e est grande et bien entretenue. Les chambres sont confortables. L’hĂŽte, Salvatore, est accueillant et serviable, mais parle seulement italien.

Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet, schön groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Wir haben die tolle Dachterrasse und den gigantischen Pool sehr genossen. Der wunderschöne Garten macht alles nicht schöner. Salvatore ist ein super Gastgeber. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche und kommen gerne wieder.

Great pool!

The property inside was as listed. More out door seating areas than expected surrounded by lemon trees. Pool was lovely to relax around. The owner was very helpful. Due to out late flight had got in some food for us.

Villa near the sea in Avola

The house was clean with basic furnishings and the two ground floor bedrooms (the ones we used) were good sizes with comfortable beds. The pool was great and it was nice to be so close to the sea. You can also see the sea from the extensive roof terrace, but there was no furniture to sit on up there. On arrival we were disappointed to find that one of the bathrooms could only be accessed from the outside of the house (and the other side from the bedrooms). The shower in this outdoor bathroom was cold. The external access really should have been mentioned in the listing and it really impacted on our stay as it wasn’t fit for use and so we all shared a bathroom. As two couples travelling together this would have been a deal breaker if we’d have known beforehand. The listing also mentioned smart TVs in each room which were not there (we didn’t mind but others might!) The house is situated in an area of Avola which is undergoing development, so although the immediate surroundings are green and planted, the views of the wider area include some construction and there was some noise from this though not every day. Avola itself is a nice town - not touristy (which suited us) There is a lovely beach nearby which is very good for swimming. The water was a lovely temperature at the end of October. The location is also well placed for trips to Syracusa, Catania (which we liked best!), Noto and the other Baroque towns.

Very restful stay

Good sized property for a family of 4adults, enjoyed the pool, daily visits by 3 cats and the occasional wander up of the owners 2 friendly dogs. Good set of kitchen utensils but we only cooked once during our stay. Check-in to property was easy and assisted by owner’s wife and son (acting as translator). Husband and son loved the convenience of the outdoor shower.

Umgeben von ZitronenbÀumen, toll gelegen

Wir haben einen großartigen Urlaub dort verbracht. Der Gastgeber war einfach zu kontaktieren und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Dank des herrlichen Pools konnten wir uns nach der Mittagshitze gut abkĂŒhlen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig und entspricht dem dortigen Standard. Alles war perfekt sauber und gut vorbereitet. Es sind auch viele SupermĂ€rkte in Sichtweite. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die schöne Zeit.

Schöne Woche im April

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kinder (3 bis 7 Jahre) in der Villa Corrado und haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Salvatore und seine Frau haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation auch im Vorfeld lief sehr gut. Bei Fragen und Problemen vor Ort wurde uns schnell geholfen. An den Duft der ZitronenbĂ€ume auf dem GelĂ€nde werden wir uns noch eine Weile begeistert zurĂŒck erinnern. Die Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß, alle Winkel des Gartens zu erkunden.

A wonderful stay in Avola!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. The pool is fantastic, access to the beach is very easy and we were very comfortable throughout. The garden and lemon grove setting is also very beautiful. The hosts were also so kind and accommodating - due to the fire at Catania airport we arrived very late at night and without our planned rental car.Salvatore and Francesca helped up pick up late night pizzas and drove us to the supermarket the next day to pick up food. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Avola region!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful week in this house. It is nicely secluded in a lemon grove and within walking distance of the beach. The house is spacious, has an almost new kitchen and bathroom and outdoor bathroom. All around is a beautiful spacious garden with lots of shade. The pool is clean and big. Opposite the house is a beautiful outdoor BBQ. The house has air conditioning in the living room. With us it was extremely hot, so the air conditioning was insufficient for the downstairs bedrooms, the upstairs bedroom has a fan. There is a nice large roof terrace. The host lives a little further away and is super friendly and helpful and offers his guests complete privacy. In short, a super nice place that I recommend to everyone.

Ein schöner Ort umgeben von ZitronenbÀumen

Ein sehr schöner Platz fĂŒr den Familienurlaub. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, sehr zuvorkommend und sofort zur Stelle, wenn es nötig ist. Wir haben uns als Familie dort sehr gut aufgehoben gefĂŒhlt. Der Pool ist einfach großartig. Das gesamte GrĂŒndstĂŒck wird sehr liebevoll gefĂŒhrt. Die Gastgeber wohnen auf dem GrundstĂŒck, etwas entfernt, in einem separaten Haus. Avola ist ein sĂŒĂŸes kleines und unaufgeregtes StĂ€dtchen und genau das wollten wir. In der NĂ€he (ca. 20 Minuten Autofahrt) ist die wunderschöne und unbedingt sehenswerte Barockstadt Noto. Der Strand liegt ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft.erreichtbar, allerdings ist der Weg dorthin eine Schotterpiste, die Nachts ziemlich dunkel ist. Es gibt fußlĂ€ufig mehere StrĂ€nde, die wirklich wunderbar sind. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, es ist kein Luxus, aber fĂŒr einen Familienurlaub einfach toll. Wir wĂŒrden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Lieben Dank nochmal an dieser Stelle an die Gastgeber Francesca und Salvatore. :-)

A relaxing stay in a charming villa

Villa Corrado is a charming villa in beautiful grounds and a great base to explore the east side of Sicily. The hosts were very helpful and always on hand if you need them. We had everything we needed and thorough enjoyed our stay. We’d love to return one day!

Lovely stay, pool is great

Great for kids. Pool is awesome. Only issues were that air con is downstairs in the lounge only and that the fourth bedroom is really just a single bed on the landing to the upstairs terrace area with no door or light or fan or air con, and since heat rises and air con is downstairs it gets very hot there. I would recommend putting a second air con unit up there and creating some kind of door or even curtain arrangement to turn it into an actual separate room!

Beautiful location, great swimming pool

We had a lovely holiday at Salvatore and Francesca's house. The setting is magnificent and the beach walkable. More beautiful beaches are a short drive. Avola is nothing special but Siracusa is 20 mins away and Noto is also very near. Salvatore and Francesca were really welcoming and the swimming pool is big and has a lovely view of the mountains.

Amazing villa

Gorgeous secluded villa in a lovely lemon grove. Very close to local amenities but you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Avola is a delightful town and not too touristy. Great beaches just a five minutes walk.

Freunde Reise Avola

Sehr schönes freistehendes Haus mit großem Pool, Strand und Stadtnah - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt mit 6 Erwachsenen, da das Wetter hervorragend war und wir fast ausnahmslos draußen waren. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und immer sofort ansprechbar um Anregungen zu geben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und kommen gern wieder.

Wunderschön gelegen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Salvatore und seiner Frau sehr genossen. Die Haus ist zentral sehr gut gelegen, eingebettet in einem tollen Garten voller ZitronenbĂ€ume und nur 10 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Sehr empfehlenswert, besonders weil die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich sind. Wir bedanken uns fĂŒr die entspannte Zeit, Birgit

La fattoria al mare

La villeta Ăš immersa nel verde, Ăš fresca e completamente accessoriata. E' una sistemazione molto comoda x chi ha adolescenti che amano gli animali. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e discreti. Ideale x vacanza relax ma molto vicina a tutto se si ha voglia di visitare cittĂ .

Prachtige woning met zwembad

we hebben genoten van het ruime huis en het zwembad. De woning werd schoon opgeleverd. Vragen worden door Salvatore snel beantwoord. Toeristische plaatsen als Siracusa, cavagrande en Marzamemi zijn snel te bereiken. We hebben een top vakantie gehad
