Le Bouganville est une charmante villa située dans la végétation méditerranéenne luxuriante de Vico Equense, à Marina D'Aequa, un port d'entrée et le premier joyau de la cÎte, Sorrente et Amalfi, avec leurs vues incomparables, et qui fait saillie dans le golfe de Naples .
Il est Ă  50 mĂštres de la mer et Ă  100 mĂštres des restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, bars, tabac, plages gratuites et payantes, et le petit port de pĂȘche oĂč vous pourrez prendre l'hydroptĂšre Ă  Capri ou oĂč vous pouvez partir pour des excursions privĂ© le long de la cĂŽte de Sorrente, Amalfi et Capri.

The host was excellent with quick communication. He was helpful in coordinating excursions and providing information regarding transportation around the town. The views were beautiful, especially from the rooftop. We were there during the end of the tourist season and part of the official “off season” which made getting to and from the city center, the train station and other towns more challenging. Staying by the marina, there are lots of food and drink options during the season, and a bus that ran frequently to get to town center and the train. During the off season, not so much. However, this does not take away from the house, we just learned quickly how to travel around better! There is a 2 star Michelin restaurant within a 5 minute walk from the apartments which we HIGHLY recommend spoiling yourself and splurging on the experience. It was INCREDIBLE. We had a lovely and unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend this properly and host!

We brought 8 people and rented Apartments A and B, which was perfect for our group. Fabio is such a great host. Well before our trip, he helped organize boat excursions and transportation throughout our stay. His nephew checked us in and gave us a little tour of the town. Fabio and Gisella came to greet us and brought us pastries and were very kind and gracious hosts. Vico Equense is a perfectly peaceful location and close to various modes of transportation. We were able to visit Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Naples and Rome (by bullet train) during our stay. The rooftop was an amazing place to relax after a long day and admire the views and sunset. We also were able to visit 1 of the 2 Michelin star restaurants in Vico. Highly recommend this area and this host!

Overall we would stay here again: Vico Equense is a gem of a location, away from the tourist noise, local with its own beach which was clean and right down the road. Fabio was amazing and set up both van service from Rome to the destination and back again for a party of 7, and also a full day boat tour of capri and Amalfi coast: the pier is right down the road from the house so it was easy, I can’t say enough good things about Fabio!

Best trip ever!

We loved the property! All of the rooms were put together so nicely and made us feel very at home. The terrace on the roof was our favorite spot and has an amazing view. A very nice and lovable apartment

Large Family Group

Our large group utilized the entire villa. There was plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the rooftop terrace. The villa is in a quiet area. A little walk down the street for waterside restaurants or pastries and coffee in the morning. And the walk up the street, it is easier than it looks, to the Seiano station makes it easy to get to Sorrento. We enjoyed our stay and Fabio was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with insights about the neighborhood.

"The owner is very friend...

"The owner is very friendly and helpful. The route directions he gave us were excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very well located for visiting Naples and its surroundings , beautiful sights, well equipped and reasonably clean. We've rented a car and thanks to the private parking we didn't have to go through a lot of trouble to park our car (like other people in Vico Equense had to do (and it wasn't even summertime yet!)"

Great house, amazing views, close to water and restaurants

Fabio was a great host. He greeted us and gave us the lay of the land, showing us around the house and the little town. He left some drinks and food to get us started and even set us up with a local boat company for private boat rentals to/around Capri. Our group visited many nearby towns (Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento and Positano) and we all agreed that we preferred Vico Equense to all of them. It wasn’t crowded and we had everything we needed in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is improving the WiFi (I’m not sure if this is the house, location of the world or number of people using it
we had 19 people staying there).

Beautiful villa with fabulous views and fantastic hosts

My family and I so enjoyed our holiday at this lovely property. This house is well situated in an intimate seaside village with easy access to public transport and local restaurants. We felt safe "at home" and throughout the community. The home itself perfectly suited our group of seven with comfy beds and beautiful living spaces. We had room to gather when we wanted and space for individual privacy as well. We especially enjoyed the spectacular sunsets and vistas from the balconies and the rooftop patio. The owners have furnished the property to a high standard and have equipped it with every convenience and comfort. They graciously arranged transport during our stay and gave us great recommendations for local events, sightseeing and shopping. We would enthusiastically recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable base for exploring Naples, Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

Everything we needed!

We were a large group of 9 and rented all three apartments which was more than enough space for us to spread out (we had a hard time finding a rental with at least 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so this was perfect). Fabio provided excellent communication and was so helpful setting up transportation for us to and from Naples as well as two private boat rentĂĄis to Capri and the Amalfi coast. Those were definitely relaxing highlights after the busyness of Rome! Fabio was unable to meet us at check in, but his charming nephew provided us a warm welcome and tour of the surrounding area. The house is a very short walk to wonderful restaurants, a small public beach, and the marina. It was a little challenging figuring out how to get to the town center to catch the train (not quite as walkable as I had thought), but we only needed to do that one day. I am already missing the rooftop where we ended each night with beautiful views!

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed 7 nights at this great place and I am already wishing I can go back. We stayed shortly after the renovation, so everything was new and both apartments were very comfortable, with all necessary household items to cook if needed. I liked the warm welcome from the owners, Fabio and his lovely wife Gisella, with a pleasant chat on the terrace, complimentary bottles of wine and basket of fruit. These gestures really make a difference. The best thing about this place is it's strategic location, making it really easy to reach Capri (either with the ferry, arriving 100m from the house, or by renting a boat), Sorrento (15-20min), Positano (20-30min), Pompei & Vesuvio (20min), Amalfi (50min). Considering the traffic and narrow roads, no other town offers this, while being relatively quite in comparison to the more touristy places. Saying that, there is everything in Vico Equense, from all kinds of shops and markets, to great restaurants and bars at the marina, just a 5 min walk away from the house. Also important is the private parking in the house, were your rental car or scooter will be safe from the hectic traffic. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace - sunsets to remember!

We had a lovely 30th anniversary trip to this beautiful villa where the top floor apartment was spacious enough to cope with seven adult family members. Bruno (Fabio's nephew) met us a little earlier than booking arrangements state as we had early flights and gave us some great information and recommendations. Even with about 36 hours of poor weather (thunderstorms) there was plenty of space to have a family meal with a well equipped kitchen. Vico Equense is a lovely area with the marina being a great favourite with all the family, a variety of bars and restaurants with great prices in some (3 Euros for a large beer in some bars, welcome on those lovely days without thunder!). Fabio visited to ensure we were okay after the storms, so helpful and charming, allowing us access to one of the smaller two bedroomed apartments for a few hours on our leaving day to store our luggage as we had later onward trains and planes to catch. This apartment was also newly refurbished, smaller but well equipped with a lovely outside garden area with a huge table we could all see ourselves eating at sometime for another special occasion, even renting the whole house. However, Kevin and I would think about the smaller apartment in the meantime. The garage was very useful as we did rent one car - I think shopping would have been a little difficult without, although the little campsite shop was great for croissants and bread on a daily basis with the owner there being very helpful with train tickets and Capri ferry tickets (which was cancelled due to the weather conditions which couldn't be helped). Town and stations were fair walk away with Seiano station being over 15 minutes walk uphill on bendy roads, but okay if you are relatively fit. The views at our marina were even better than Sorrento anyway we decided! We all had a lovely stay here and hope to return some day.

"En fait le seul problĂšme...

"En fait le seul problÚme incommodant est l'isolation entre les 2 logements. On peut entendre les gens dans l'autre logement comme si on y était. Sinon c'est un endroit trÚs correct. Le propriétaire (et sa famille) ont été charmants et nous ont beaucoup aider à nous orienter. Le coin est tranquille et un peu à l'extérieur de la Vico Equense (ce qui est un plus selon moi). La gare pour le train est à 10 minutes de marche (2 minutes en auto). Il y a un stationnement pour l'auto ce qui est trÚs rare sur la cÎte. Le logement est propre et convenablement équipé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour."
