A fantastic family house in a great location. Lots of things to praise but most of all is how well suited it is for those who have families with lots of small children, as the house and garden have endless activities for the children from tennis to swimming to apple picking to its very own playground.House is roomy with good living spaces. This is not a 5 star experience by any means, but that is its charm. It is a family house, not a luxury resort, and that means it is very easy to live in day to day, especially with toddlers!Highly recommend to any family looking for a break on the Isle Of Wight. Thank you.

Great family house with lots of space both inside and out. Garden and pool and slide plus playgrounds and sheds were a real hit with the family as plenty to do onsite. A nice touch were all the family games, Lego and train set that Barry and Elizabeth made available for their guests. Barry and Elizabeth were keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible as communications excellent.

A beautiful house in a spectacular setting. Six adults and four children, a wonderful family reunion to celebrate my 80th birthday. So much space, so much to do for everybody. We loved it all, Hattie learned to ride a bike, Tris stood up on the paddle board and 'played' the piano when he could, Benny loved the fruit trees and the bees and Jakey perfected his front flip on the trampoline. We all enjoyed the pool.Many thanks for sharing your home with us.

We stayed here early May as a family of 11 plus 2 dogs. Suffice to say, if this was a tick box exercise , this house would tick them all. The kids enjoyed the swimming, the adults enjoyed the company and the dogs loved the garden. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a peaceful escape, with beach and countryside walks.The hosts were extremely accommodating too. Would book again!

This was our second visit to the house. We love it there because it’s so peaceful and quiet with a huge garden full of interesting plants. Yarmouth is very close as is Freshwater Bay, one of our favourite places. It is easy to book a food delivery and the Tesco’s superstore is near. Altogether a great place for a laid back holiday. The host was most helpful with answering any questions. We will return I’m sure.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Elizabeth and Barry’s place. The garden is huge and the property was very well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of fun activities included. The kids loved the tennis court and bikes especially! The proximity to the local beach is also fantastic. The house is tired in parts but spacious and homely. The hosts also left us some wonderful Easter treats and were on hand for any questions. Overall a great stay!

Amazing house and grounds, perfect for 7 adults, 4 children (ages 1 thru 8) and a dog. Has everything you could need for a short to long stay, managed to get use of the swimming pool on the Saturday, was fresh, but can imagine the summer time it being spot on. Communication with the hosts was detailed and accommodating, highly recommended.

Can't fault this property as a family friendly get away. It had lotse of space for the adults and kids inside the house. The outside grounds are extensive to say the least, loads of space for the kids and dogs to play. The pool is a real bonus even for the crazy ones at the end of October!

Plenty of space with everything you need for a family break, lovely house and spacious grounds.....nice part of the island and close to lots of great attractions ...just need to be creative and organised with cooking for 12 with an Aga!

Wonderful property in a fabulous location; we loved the extensive gardens and grounds, lots to do and so much space for extended family gathering. The sun came out, so good use was made of the pool! Fantastic property for a family holiday everything needed for a sporty family. Great location for exploring the West side of the island. We only stayed for the weekend but would love to return for a longer stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. 13 of us with kids from 1 to 11. Lots of space for us all. So much for the kids to enjoy and do. Would definitely like to stay again one day!

Absolute gem of a holiday house. Was a real home from home and felt very lucky to have enjoyed a long weekend here with friends. The garden was amazing, house was very well equipped and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Thank you!
