Magnifiquement restauré studio dans une maison géorgienne au cœur de Ludlow.
Greenwich House, une belle maison géorgienne de grade Deux cotée, se trouve dans le centre historique de Ludlow, célèbre pour son histoire colorée, beauté architecturale et la réputation de l'excellence culinaire, avec une étoile Michelin et de nombreux autres restaurants. Il est idéal pour explorer le château, magnifique église du 12ème siècle et de magasins d'antiquités merveilleuses. Chaque jour, vous pouvez marcher dans les belles rues pavées et jouir du fruit local et produire des marchés ou foires à la brocante et artisanat, presque tous les jours de la semaine.
Le Balcon appartement est au deuxième étage de la maison et d'être implanté à l'arrière, il est très calme et privé. Le balcon donne sur le jardin lui-même fascinant de 2, rue Mill lui-même, et a une vue extraordinaire sur le dos des vieilles maisons de la ville de Ludlow et leurs jardins, et une belle vue sur St. Eglise de Laurence. Le balcon a la place pour s'asseoir et se dorer au soleil, et les étapes mènent à son jardin privé qui va avec le balcon plat, où il y a une table de pique-nique et un barbecue, 4 -6 sièges.
L'appartement du balcon a un escalier pour un accès confortable. Il comprend une chambre double avec salle de bains privative et une chambre plus petite avec un lit simple et une douche attenante, ainsi que des toilettes séparées. Il y a une cuisine moderne équipée, un très grand salon / salle à manger avec canapé-lit double, qui donne sur le balcon.
La cuisine est équipée d'unités modernes comprenant un réfrigérateur-congélateur, un lave-vaisselle, un micro-ondes et un lave-linge, avec une trappe de service à travers le salon principal. Le salon, avec poutres d'origine à travers le plafond, bénéficie d'un bel aspect ensoleillé. La porte extérieure donne sur le balcon, qui est assez large pour prendre des chaises longues et une petite table, et donne sur un jardin bas enchanteur avec vue sur l'église et le dos des vieilles maisons de ville Ludlow. Cet appartement dispose de son propre jardin privé, à laquelle on accède par l'escalier en bois.

I'm afraid I should correct you in that there are only 2 flights of stairs, as the flat is on the 2nd floor, as is clearly stated in the listing.
As for the spare bedroom, we have recently taken a bed out to make this room more spacious for a single person, for whom it would be perfectly fit for purpose - as there were only 2 of you we didn't think this would be an issue.

Great base to explore a wonderful town
This top floor flat is right in the middle of town so a great location to explore Ludlow. Sue could not have been more helpful when getting us settled in and making us feel at home.

Property is cozy and has lots of character. Sue was a good welcoming host. The beds are comfortable. The location excellent. The PARKING at the property is actually on street,metered parking at 2 per hr, free only at night time, which was disappointing as this is why we booked. We couldn’t get the boiler to work, believe it might be broken.

Host picked us up from station and was very eager to show us around. Unfortunately only shown kitchen, lounge and balcony. No photo of small bedroom in brochure either.Single bedroom not fit for purpose.Stuffy, smelly and tiny. Shower curtain mouldy.cupboard (wardrobe?) mouldy floor. Luckily spare new bed settee in lounge. Shared other shower.

Short break in Ludlow
The flat was in a great central location in Ludlow so we could walk everywhere we needed to go. And Ludlow is a beautiful town - so much to see and do.
The flat was clean but felt like it could do with a little refresh - not sure how long it's been a rental property. It had a rather tired feel. For example, the shower in the second bedroom didn't work and there was no mirror in either the second bedroom or the little bathroom. The second bedroom felt a little unaired and the alcove by the shower could use a little tidying up. Also, there was no hair dryer which one assumes these days is standard provision so I didn't ask in advance about this.
Overall, it was a convenient spot and suited me and my friend for a short break but certainly not the best Vrbo I've stayed in. However, we really appreciated Steve carrying our cases up 2 flights of stairs, and the whistlestop tour of Ludlow from Susan. Maybe the same attention to detail could usefully be paid to ensuring the flat is in tip top condition for guests ?

Excellent Location
A lovely traditional property in the centre of Ludlow. The balcony flat is at the rear of the property and is lovely and peaceful with views over the garden and church. The flat is very spacious and clean, all needs catered to, even a carton of fresh milk upon arrival. Sue, the owner, is lovely, full of information and even drove her car to the long stay carpark for us to follow her and offering us a lift back. A charming property and a charming lady. Thank you Sue, it was a pleasure.

The space of the property is very good, & location perfect, however, mattress springs not yet rectified, BBQ not fit to cook on, sofas very uncomfortable, towels very hard, cooker not clean, parking not rectified it states free parking when in fact there is none, & currently mice droppings found on worktops in kitchen.

Most guests find the sofas and beds extremely comfortable, beds can be a very personal taste. Towels are washed with softener and tumble-dried. The information about parking is correct as stated "free overnight parking" is available from 6pm and 8am, and cheap parking during the day is within a 10m walk. After an isolated and very unusual incident of a mouse visit we refunded 200£ of your rental booking. Very sad to hear that this didn't have a bearing on your disappointment.

Lovely flat in the centre of Ludlow
The balcony flat had a lovely charm to it and had all you need for a short stay. The flat is up a couple of flights of stairs with lovely views from the lounge and nice to have outdoor space. Sue was very friendly and accommodating - great communication after booking and then meeting us and showing us around once we arrived. Overnight parking for the week is a short walk away and inexpensive. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again if we visit Ludlow again.

Delightful hideaway in central Ludlow
Fantastic welcome from Sue. Property is individual and homely, very clean and well located. Ludlow is a great place to visit and this is a lovely place to stay. Only improvements suggested are some larger drinking glasses (very hot when we were there) and the main bed mattress is a bit bouncy (but that is a personal choice). Would happily stay again and would recommend it to others.

Misleading
The property was in a fantastic location, however, the advert stated free parking and this is some distance away at a store car park where we were left a note from the shop stating we couldn’t park there so ended up having to pay for street parking. The advert also states pets allowed, however I was told no to the dogs after booking and was asked to put them in kennels. As this was not an option, it was agreed I could take them if I hoovered daily. The property was old and needed updating, the balcony wasn’t safe for a toddler and the gate on the balcony was initially padlocked to stop the dogs having access to the garden! Although there were issues that need rectifying, overall we had a great stay.

Great location and wonderful sitting room
We have been staying at Sue's flat for many years now. It's where we prefer to stay when visiting Ludlow. A perfect location in the centre of town within a short walking distance of the shops - and the best pubs! You have to be able to climb a few flights of stairs, though.
The flat is comfortable and well decorated. The best feature is the lovely sitting room with it's vaulted ceiling. It backs onto the gardens behind Mill Street, which is an oasis of peace and quiet. Having breakfast at the large table by the window overlooking the gardens is the best part of the day.

A real home from home feel about this apartment.
We had a lovely , comfortable weekend break in this apartment. everything you could need while you visit beautiful Ludlow. Situated in the heart of the town so close to all the amenities. I have stayed a few times now and always enjoy my visit.

Beautiful, carasmatic apartment in Ludlow
The apartment is at the heart of Ludlow town, a historic market town with its own castle. This is what first attracted me to book the apartment.
I was certainly not dissapointed. The apartment was large and spacious. Beautifully decorated. There is a decent sized, kitted out kitchen so cooking meals isnt a problem. There is a large dining table so sitting together for meals is a plus.
The bed are comfy and there is a spare sofa bed if needed.
I had a wonderful stay and Ludlow is just wonderful for shops and things to do. Will definitely be returning.
