What a great place and such a beautiful setting. Perfect place for our sister's weekend with a bed for everyone and a big kitchen for cooking in. The hot tub was wonderful! Very glad we booked this lovely home and we would love to come back!

Thus is a beautiful, clean property. We enjoyed outdoor games and the hot tub. The house is well stocked with cooking supplies. The care taken in the decorating is A plus! I recommend this property. Close to Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth.

This was the perfect cabin for our Thanksgiving getaway. It fit our family perfectly. The home had the best amenities we have ever had at a vacation rental.

We come to Plain every year and this was our favorite house to date! Lots of space to spread out and a wonderful sledding hill. We cannot wait to book again!

Amazing property

This remote property provided the getaway we needed. All of the space, amenities, and games for a great time. The hot tub was very clean as well! We would definitely come back!

Very Cool Place

This cabin was perfect for our family! Communication with the host and property management was the best! The Kid's Cave was a hit with the grandkids with so many toys, games, and books to choose from! We can't wait to come back and play in the snow!

Best FamilyVacation Spot

We brought 5 cousins to Leavenworth for an adventure. This lodging was the perfect evening respite, & fun game-playing place (both indoors and outdoors). The kitchen is big, well-appointed and comfortable. All of the beds are great! The kids LOVED the hot tub and yard toys. The stars at night were incredible!

Beautiful, spacious house.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this house. The property is beautiful. The house is clean and had all the kitchen utensils . Also the basement had many board games and a pool table, which made the experience fun and memorable.

The perfect family getaway!

We had the best time at the Silvermoon Mountain Lodge! The cabin was perfect for our stay. The basement and kids play area was loved by our kids. The cabin was cozy, perfectly stocked with everything we needed, and in a great location! We used the sledding hill right next to the house (which was stocked with sleds!), and the hot tub was a hit with everyone. Close proximity to Leavenworth, this cabin was a win with everyone. The owners/property manager was very communicative the entire process! I would highly recommend booking a stay at this home! We will definitely be booking another stay!

Great family stay

The property is beautiful, the home comfortable and amenities abound. The kitchen and bbq needs a deep clean. Debri and dirt in drawers and cabinets and some reorganizing needed. We tried to use the bbq but it was very dirty so we couldn’t use it. If these factors didn’t exist this would easily be a 5 star review.

Great for larger families

Had a great time as we were there for a wedding weekend. Hot tub and dryer were not working when we got there but they had someone out to fix the hot tub and it was heated up by the last eve we were there. The listing photos are a bit deceiving as the rooms don’t have bunks anymore so make sure you read. Still plenty of room for our family! Very well stocked! If you follow the iPhone gps maps it takes you right there! They sent written directions but we didn’t need them. Over all enjoyed our trip! Thank you!

On the Favorite List

Wonderful quiet neighborhood on spacious property surrounded by trees and hills. Would highly recommend. The house was well stocked from top to bottom. Very comfortable beds and layout. A real plus was the hosts, Teri and Steve. They respected our privacy (lived a short distance down a hill from rental house). However, went out of their way to welcome us as well as help us out when we needed it (directions and a jump for our car which wouldn't start). Four sisters have been making an annual week long stay at various rentals around Washington/Oregon for over 20 years. This place was at the top of our favorites. Thank you Teri and Steve as our hosts!

Peaceful Retreat

We loved the spaciousness of the cabin and all the outdoor space. The covered wrap-around porch had plenty of comfortable seating, and we spent a lot of time relaxing and chatting on the side porch by the kitchen. The kitchen, by the way, was very well stocked and clean, which was a relief, and the huge picture windows allow delightful views of the outdoors. (The coffee pot is is the programmable drip-style, so don't bring pods.) The kids enjoyed the walkout basement with the game tables, toys, and media room, and everyone had fun in the big hot tub (and there were designated hot tub towels. We brought additional beach towels from our home to use at Lake Wenatchee, which was a quick drive up the road and the kids had a blast). At the house, there were lots of places to just sit and read or reflect, like balcony on the top level, or the porch swing--so peaceful. We especially enjoyed seeing the amazing stars at night--something that's hard to do in the city with all the lights. The only downside was having to leave! We are very happy we went and very much appreciate the thoughtfulness and generosity of the host for providing such a peaceful retreat.

Did Not Meet Expectations

The lodge is family friendly and offers many amenities. However, we discovered some glaring deficiencies: 1}The hot tub tripped a fuse twice and became inoperable. 2) Only two burners worked on the four burner grill. 3) Washed a load of laundry only to find that the dryer did not work. 4)There was no piano as listed in the description. 5} Towels were old, musty and bleach-stained. They should have been replaced. 6) The thermostat for A/C had a governor on it and could be set to no lower than 69 degrees. It was warm upstairs in June when we stayed. 7) The ice maker in the freezer was not making ice. With some TLC, this property could be five stars. Shila, the property manager, attempted to have the hot tub and dryer repaired, but to no avail. We will be staying somewhere else next time.

Sweet and comfortable home

My family of 4 plus one other family of 4 had a good stay in the Silvermoon Mountain lodge. We had never stayed in a log cabin before and we really enjoyed our visit to the area. Shila, the property manager was kind and responsive, plus there is a great manual in the home with ideas of things to do. The Leavenworth area in the summer is quite lovely with a range of weather temperatures. When we arrived it was 90 degrees (thank goodness there was AC) but then we also got some afternoon showers and cool temperatures at night. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet (except for a nosy neighbor flying a drone over the Silvermoon property on the last night). We loved being able to use the board games, the volleyball net and the hot tub. This home isn't fancy (the deck has old wood, but is so quaint with many chairs to sit and chat, we just remembered to wear shoes while walking outside). The kitchen is well stocked (I would check on the ice maker before you go, because not having ice on a 90 degree day was a major bummer for us). This home has satellite TV which was a plus because the women's World Cup games were on! Wifi worked great too! Also, future guests should know that this home is 30 minutes from Leavenworth, but there are many things to do in Plain (10 min drive) or in nearby Lake Wenatchee.

Perfect Getaway!!

We had a fun-filled girls getaway weekend! It was perfect for our needs, two shared the rooms, the master on the main floor and the two bedrooms upstairs. There is an extra room in the basement that’s available, but it’s not as nice. We loved loved the setting, and when it started snowing, it was magical! The kitchen was well-stocked, the hot tub was awesome, and the greatroom downstairs was great for hanging out together!

A wonderful place to stay

Silvermoon was the perfect place for our family holiday of 3 generations - space for everyone to relax (inside and out), games for all ages and abilities (inside and out - the downstairs play area for the grand-daughter was a great hit), cooking facilities for all tastes, and a range of walking, paddling in lakes and rivers nearby etc activities. Could not have been better.

Family stay

We attended a wedding in Plain. This house was perfect for six adults and two children. Great play space for the kids including indoor/ outdoor games. The house was clean and well stocked for cooking meals. Would definitely stay here again.
