Beautiful Ocean Front Accommodation

Johnny has a beautiful, well maintained home, with an excellent staff of groundskeeper, pool cleaner & House cleaner. Everything we needed was at the home. With the ocean as your backyard the location is A+ - Well done, we hope to visit again - Joe & Rosy

Amazing home!

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa La Coq. The house is elegantly decorated staying with the Mexican theme. So well stocked with everything you might need. Johnny is a great host. The house is a little higher price point but for the location and how well the house is stocked, it is well worth it.

Beautiful home and amazing location

We had a fantastic weeklong stay at Casa Le Coq, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, private vacation with their friends and/or family. The home is just steps from the ocean and the pool is fantastic. John is an incredible host who went above and beyond to answer all our questions to ensure everything was great. Will definitely return!!

Overall this vacation in Manzanillo was a great one. The accommodation was everything we expected.

Simply a great experience here in Manzanillo. The house was everything we needed and more. Great location to everything. Hiking, golfing, swimming and of course eating. The house was spacious and super comfortable. The owner was helpful and responded whenever I had a question. The pool and yard was kept immaculate. Just a super experience.

Perfect location

We had a great vacation the house is located right on the water. The beach is long and the surf is calm and the water is clear enough to see the bottom even over your head. Great for small children. Restaurants two houses away delivered food, it was good and convenient. Everyone was very kind we had no problems with English, our broken Spanish and the locals with some English. We had a great time.

TRANQUIL AND RELAXING

We stayed for eight days in the safe, secure and tranquil Casa Le Coq which is located in the guarded Club Santiago section of Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. The back yard is the beach . The in ground pool is perfect. The kitchen in this three bedroom, two bath home is fully equipped. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Casa Le Coq.

Manzanillo Paradise

The Casa Le Coq was the perfect size and location for our 3 couples 5 year reunion. The house was spacious, beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked, the pool refreshing, and the yard very well kept. We enjoying sitting under the umbrella watching the sun rise, and watching the sailboats and cargo ships. The beautiful sandy beach was perfect for walking everyday. The “muffin man” stopped by most days which was a real treat. The owner was helpful and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. He was responsive when we had an issue - thanks so very much John. Antonio (pool maintenance) and Rosa (housekeeper) are both lovely people; very friendly. We would definitely consider coming back. Thanks John for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Beautiful Beach Vacation

We loved our stay at this beautiful beach front home. The decor is very pleasing with beautiful tile work and Johnny's paintings are lovely. The large doors on the front of the house open up to a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The owner, Johnny, was so accommodating before and during our stay. Petra did housekeeping twice during each week and that was plenty for our needs. Antonio and his son Marco kept the pool and yard in wonderful shape.. The proximity to the Fishing Village had it's advantages and disadvantages. It's a fun place to walk to for authentic Mexican food , but can also be a little loud with late night music. We grew accustom to it over our two week stay and it wasn't as much of a problem as we first thought it might be.

Great house right on the beach

This was my second time to stay in this beach house. The best beach in Manzanillo is right out the back door. The house is immaculate and has a family feel to it. A wonderful experience.

Return to Manzanillo

The entire experience was amazing. Johnny was so available and from the time we booked, we talk on the phone and by email. I truly believe Johnny is a caring and thoughtful home owner. We knew the area from living in Manzanillo and chose this property for the flat beach and swimming pool as we had our 89 year old parents, and 2 year old granddaughter with us. It was absolutely perfect. I would recommend this home to everyone, whether your young, old. Thank you Johnny! When we come back to Manzanillo we will definitely rent your home again...Marlene and Michael

Great Place for a Group

I stayed with five friends from Ajijic. The house feels like a home. There is plenty of shared areas so you can be close without being on top of each other. The house is pristine, well stocked, and, if there is any issue, the handyman is there within an hour. It is at the end of a quiet street and on one of the best beaches in Mexico.

Casa Le Coq is a perfect home away from home

A full five stars for both the accommodation and the owner, John. The house is even better in person although the photos are beautiful. The accommodation was perfect for our group to enjoy the pool, beach and comforts of this beautiful home. Everything is clean, well kept and comfortable. Can't say enough about this property. The owner, John, is very helpful and easy to communicate with both before and during our getaway. The only thing I would comment on is if you are sensitive to the wee sand flies / noseems as I am to be sure to use the remedy the housekeeper Rosa offered when she saw my chewed up legs (I react and am uncommonly very sensitive to their bites). Cut a lime in half, cover cut half with lots of salt, heat the half lime covered with salt on the gas stove flame and once the outside is charred run the lime / salt juice on bites. Easy fix and worked like a charm. Thank you John for having us in your home and we highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing get away.

Beachfront with Pool & Character

We like to experience a little more authentic local color than the large fancy resorts offer, at the same time we like beachfront homes with views, pools, amenities we "can't live without" like AC, Coffee maker, Washer/Dryer and Wifi. Casa Le Coq was everything we wanted and needed. The common area is vibrant, comfortable and spacious. The rooms and beds we just right. Bathrooms are really cool with colorful tile work. Kitchen had everything we needed. Inside and out there is beautiful artwork, plants and flowers. We spent most of our time in the water right in front of the house or in the pool, or lounging between the two. Lots of birds and fish to watch, and depending on the day or season there are a few vendors who walk by the house selling fresh mango, baked goods, ice cream and seafood. You can walk for hours on the large beach, hike up to a couple amazing vantage points, and walk to nice or locals restaurants. The pool guy and housekeeper did a fantastic job keeping the space clean and tidy, while hardly making their presence known. We had a chef recommended by the owner who came and cooked for us the first and last two nights. They shopped, cooked and cleaned up for less than it cost to go out to eat, and so much nicer for our group who was in total relax mode.

Beautiful home right on the beach! Very helpful owner!

We loved every second staying at Casa LeCoq! The owner has carefully chosen tile and wood accents throughout the house. Also, lovely artwork. A great restaurant right down the beach with excellent food and service. We loved the house and location so much we didn't really do anything else!

Lovely accommodation in a great location

Casa le Coq was as described. Location was perfect. Quiet stretch of beach with just enough surf to be interesting. The house was well furnished. Lots of seating. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Rosa came to do extra cleaning as requested and was very accommodating. The main living area did heat up a bit in the morning, but overall the house was very comfortable. The pool was a lovely size for a group of 6 and was well used during our stay. All in all, a great vacation spot for a family!

A true Mexican paradise......

Just spent two fabulous weeks at Casa Le Coq. Wonderful location right on the beach, a short distance from the lively La Boquita. Excellent ocean swimming, plus a lovely pool to enjoy. Well manicured, tranquil outdoor area perfect for lounging and entertaining. Kitchen is fully equipped for dining in. Fabulous Oasis restaurant is just a short walk down the beach. Crisp, clean linens and comfortable mattresses made for restful sleeps. Great artwork and colorful decor, especially the spectacular tile work in the newly renovated bathrooms! Very well maintained property with excellent, helpful staff. Owner was great to work with. A true Mexican paradise. Looking forward to returning next year.
