Such a lovely villa. We were hoping for somewhere quiet and secluded, and though it is just on the outskirts of the delightful SĂłller, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere! Such a beautiful setting, nestled in the foothills of the mountains, and loads to do nearby. Maria was a super helpful host. We all had a lovely time, and would unhesitatingly recommend this villa. A truly wonderful, enjoyable week.

I can’t say enough good things about our time at the villa! The property is gorgeous inside and out. We so enjoyed Soller and exploring Mallorca, but our favourite thing to do was hang out by (or in) the pool or on the shaded terrace and just enjoy the lovely and peaceful surroundings. The hike up to the villa from Soller is steep and hot, but the pool provides immediate relief. My only tip is to rent as small a car as possible - the streets are very narrow. We were first given a pretty unwieldy large SUV. We exchanged it for a compact and felt much more comfortable. Overall, a 10/10 stay. We hope to be back someday soon.

Fantastic house, fantastic host

A magnificent property, situated just on the outskirts of Soller. The surrounding area is just beautiful and the town has a lot to offer including easy transport to a number of must see locations. The house is comfortable and the pool very relaxing to come back to after a day of exploring. It is fully equipped.The host, Robert could not have been nicer. Great communication from early in the process and a great homemade map sent before our visit which really highlighted a lot of important and relevant information on the town. We opted not to have a hire car and Robert very kindly took us shopping on the first day, pointing out local products and driving us back to the property fully equipped! He also booked a taxi for us on the way back and even checked out airport luggage storage options for us as our flight was a bit later. He is fantastic.Very happy to recommend.

SĂłller trip

We loved the house. Plenty of room for five adults. Wonderful view. 10 minute walk to the town center, downhill. We rented a car, which was very nice to have for exploring the island, but be prepared to navigate narrow streets of SĂłller to get to the house. Completely doable, just nothing like driving in the States.

Lovely and peaceful house

Beautiful house and location - completely restful, well equipped, easy walk to town. Lots to do close by and further afield on Mallorca. Only the in and out of town and to the house is a bit tricky and takes some time.

Ruhig entspannte Urlaubslage

Das Haus liegt in fußlĂ€ufiger Entfernung (15 min) vom Stadtzentrum von Soller entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt mit dem großen, erfrischendem und gepflegtem Pool. Da es zu unserem Reiszeit sehr heiß war, konnten wir immer unter der Überdachung der Veranda den Urlaub genießen.

Great holiday

Stayed with my family and parents . Really nice villa and the host was excellent, very attentive and helped us out with advice on where to go and the one time there was a small issue small issue (flushing toilet) we had it fixed within the hour

Oase der Ruhe und GemĂŒtlichkeit

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche im Sommer im Haus von Maria und Robert. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Einrichtung war sehr gemĂŒtlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und das Haus war fĂŒr uns eine Oase der Ruhe und GemĂŒtlichkeit in der sonst trubeligen Stadt Soller. Wir kehrten sehr gerne nach unseren AusflĂŒgen in das Haus und genossen die Terrasse und den Pool. Teilweise bevorzugten wir im Haus zu bleiben statt AusflĂŒge zu machen. Robert war ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber und kĂŒmmerte sich mit Hingabe um das Haus. Das spĂŒrt man in jeder Ecke des Hauses und Gartens. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr!

Mountainside Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert and Maria’s villa. It was equipped with everything we needed for our week long visit. Robert was only a call away if we needed anything and was very helpful. The only thing that could’ve made our stay better would’ve been fans in the bedrooms. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

Stunning property, stunning location, perfect week away.

We had a wonderful week staying at Robert and Maria’s villa. Robert was very helpful upon arrival and made himself available throughout if we needed anything. It was a joy spending time together around the pool and strolling into town for evening meals. The hike back is a bit of a challenge but my 7 year old boy and 73 year old mum both managed it well. We loved listening to the birds, although never saw them. The villa is well equipped and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was the perfect family holiday, exactly what we hoped for and we will definitely be back. There is so much to discover in the area, we ran out of time.

Even better than pictured

This Villa that is a short walk from Soller town center is even better than pictured. It is quiet and as picturesque as it could possibly be. The home is comfortable, and Robert’s greeting and recommendations for the island were much appreciated. I would 100% stay here again in future Mallorca visits.

Familienurlaub in SĂŽller

Wir hatten als Familie einen wunderbaren Urlaub im Olivera Haus. Besonders die schönen Abende auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die entfernten Lichter der Bucht von Soller haben es uns angetan. Maria und Robert sind wirklich gute Vermieter. Kleine liebevolle Details wie ein BegrĂŒĂŸungsblumenstrauß und BlĂŒten in der Seifenschale hießen uns willkommen.

Perfect combination of countryside and access to Soller Town

Although the house is just a 10 - 15 mins pleasant walk from the beautiful town of Soller, once in its environs it feels secluded, very private and remote. Surrounded by the majesty of the Serra de Tramuntana, the house is uncluttered, clean and offered everything we needed it to on our relaxing holiday. Four adults and two small children were comfortably accommodated and everyone had a very enjoyable break. The saltwater pool was deliciously cool and the combination of poolside furniture and hammocks arranged around olive trees ensured there was both sunshine and shade throughout the day for everyone. We enjoyed our early morning visits to the bakery, our evening meals on the terrace and the cool rooms of the house at nighttime. Robert and Maria were wonderful and very responsive hosts and dealt with our enquiries expediently and efficiently. All in all we had a lovely time and hope to return on day if we can.

Quiet rural stay within easy reach of town, bars, cafes

A gorgeous farmhouse, simply but beautifully decorated, with a lovely homely feel. Robert couldn't have been more helpful with advice on where to go/what to see and a quick fix of a plumbing problem too. Would highly recommend :)

Wonderful house and area

We had a wonderful stay in the house - it was beautiful and peaceful and no detail had been missed in helping us have an incredibly comfortable holiday. It felt like a real treat. Robert met us in town so that we could find our way there and welcomed us with kindness and much love and information for the island. There is a steep walk back to the house from the town, but that gave us a sense of achievement at the end of each day! The area is stunning and there is so much to do - more than we could fit into a week. We are already planning a return.

Lovely stay at Olivera

We, a family of six adults, all enjoyed our stay at Olivera. On arrival Robert met with our taxi driver to ensure that he could find the house and Robert then offered to take us shopping, which was apppreciated. Robert responded promptly to a small issue we had and, whilst he was at the house, he ordered pizza for us as the place we contacted wasn’t doing delivery. The house itself has everything that you need. Air conditioning would be good, but fans are provided. The pool, which is well maintained, was most welcome as the temperature was 32-35c whilst we were there. One thing to note though is that there is no shallow end. As others have mentioned, the house is up a steep hill. The younger members of our party didn’t find it too much of a problem. Soller itself has a number of good restaurants, whilst other towns and villages such as Deia, Port de Soller and Fornalutx, are easy to get to on the excellent bus service. Overall, we had a lovely holiday.

I have always been very interested in the Mallorquin building style, architecture,and culture. I have been professionally involved in designing many homes in Soller maintaining the traditional Mallorquin Soller style. The Mallorquin Soller style is quite unique as it is a mixture of different cultures. Many of the older properties were originally built during the Islamic period that at its longest lasted 300 years. You can still see the influence in the names of many villages like Bini Ali or Lluc Alcari or Bini Basi. Even some people claim the name Soller has an Islamic meaning. There are still lots of traces left,including many minarets in Palma City.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I liked this house because it is so close to the Center but at the same time tucked away in the olive groves surrounded by nature. Distant sheep bells and the bird song are lovely. We have another smaller property also on HomeAway called Relaxing Casita (advert number 6300799) that is in the vicinity so if you had a larger group you could rent them together. I will be happy to offer any recommendations or assistance to make your stay the best I can.
Each property (The Relaxing Casita and the Olive Grove Villa ) is independent,autonomous. The pool and the garden of Olive Grove Villa is secluded and belongs only to Olive Grove Villa property. It is absolutely independent from the Relaxing Casita.
