Perfect little apartment minutes away from Rapallo

A charming, authentic apartment in the most gorgeous area, this is very handy for the beach at San Michelle di Pagana and for Rapallo where you can also get the boat to San Fruttuoso. The owners were absolutely lovely and keen for us to enjoy the delights of the area. A real gem.

Great location.

Apartment is well located. We got used to the steps down to the town. Only a 20min walk to Rapallo. Superb view from balcony. Ideal location to visit the area.

Real Italian feel and well located

Quaint and cute apartment, very clean. Alberto and Agata were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is perfect for day trips to neighboring villages, restaurants and shopping.

Lovely stay in Rapallo

We had a great time in Rapallo in this lovely apartment. The apartment had everything you could wish for, a nice balcony and just a few minutes walk to restaurants and the beach. It was just walking distance to Rapallo and Santa Margherita, where you could find more restaurants, shops and and the ferry to others nice places as Portofino and Fruttuoso. We would like to stay at Agatha and Alberto’s place again.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Agata is an excellent host- really helpful and great with communication. The apartment is in a good location midway between Rapallo and Santa Margarita with a lovely view from the balcony and easy access to the beaches of St Michele. The communal living area is a bit small for four but the bedrooms are a good size and the apartment is well equipped with washing machine and drying rack, microwave and WiFi. We hope to be back!

A peaceful stay

Alberto and Agata were very friendly and welcoming in letting us know about the area and what to do. The flat is very comfortable with a fabulous view from the balcony. Parking was available nearby and the beach was a ten minute walk away downhill - the only disadvantage is the walk uphill coming back! The wine and fruit left for us on arrival were a very pleasant touch.

Italian hospitality at its finest

And our family loved staying here, it is a short walk from the main street and beach with cafés and wine bars. A 15 minute walk in either direction will find you in Santa Margarita, or Rapallo, both are charming cities with lots of great food options, and beautiful Italian streets to explore. It was a great home base to visit Portofino, Camogli and Cinque Terre. Our hosts were as kind as can be And even provided us with wine and fresh fruit from their trees that were delicious. We hope to make it back again, and would love to stay here without hesitation.

charming place with wonderful hosts

Agata and Jerry we so helpful and provide a very nice apartment and a great location. The picked us up at the train station and Jerry took us back for our departure train 9 days later. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. A 10 minute walk to the bus station gave us good access to neighboring towns. We bought week long bus tickets for $21 each that took us everywhere we wanted to go - Rapallo, Santa Margherita, and Porafino. If you don't have a vehicle the walk to the bus and nearby beach includes 130 steps down to the road below. We did not mind as it helped keep us in shape. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Thanks so much to our friendly, accomodating hosts Agata and Jerry!

Thanks for the good judgement. I want to clarify for the next guests that to reach the beach it's not necessary to use the steps, you can reach it even by the road , about 10 /12 minutes.

Perfect appartement, very welcoming owners!

It is a very comfortable house, with a pleasant view from the window. We had a really good time in Rapallo and enjoyed our holidays in such a nice place. We spent almost all the evenings sitting on the terrace and admiring the sunset and breathing the fresh Italian air! The owners are very welcoming people: they truly make us feel like home, and they got us a lot of advice about our stay. The flat is quite spacious (for 4-5 people)! Really well designed. The furniture is authentic, and the beds are sweet and cosy. A parking space is provided. The sea is close to the house. The house is located approximately 30 minutes walking from the centre of Rapallo, where you’ll find a yacht club and lots of restaurants. The supermarket and the beach are just down the hill, which is very convenient because they are open till 10 PM. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful place in Liguria. Everything was even better than we had imagined!

Grazie del giudizio positivo. Ci fa sempre un grande piacere che gli ospiti trascorrano una piacevole vacanza nella nostra casa e nella nostra terra. Anche per noi è stata una esperienza positiva. Gli ospiti, gentili e affabili, si sono comportati in modo discreto e rispettoso verso le regole della convivenza. Siamo contenti di averli conosciuti e ci siamo salutati con il proposito di rivederci ancora in futuro.

Nice apartment, good location

Agata and Alberto were very friendly and welcoming to their lovely two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that also has an elevator. We had fun talking with them. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony that has a great view of homes dotting the mountain, and drinking coffee or a glass of wine and eating walnuts or grapes that they brought from their garden. The WiFi worked perfectly. We did not use the kitchen to cook meals but it is well equipped and there is a full size refrigerator. A large grocery store with free parking is close by in Rapallo. The apartment has a parking space. It is about a half hour walk to either St. Margherita or Rapallo and the San Michele di Pagana beach is just a short walk. The whole area has very good bus, boat and train service. According to the local tourist office, the Cinque Terre trails were closed for safety reasons and the area has become very crowded. We drove to Camogli (20 minutes) and Sestrie Levante (30 minutes) which were beautiful and not at all crowded. We enjoyed our week and would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic apartment

I just returned from spending two weeks in Agata and Alberto’s apartment in San Michele and it was a wonderful experience! Agata and Albeto were so great to work with, very helpful. Communication was quick and easy, they were wonderfully responsive! It was so helpful that they picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. That took a lot of stress off me, not being very familiar with the area. I also appreciated that they spent a lot of time with me showing me the apartment and explaining how things worked. The welcome gift of wine was most appreciated too! The apartment itself is lovely, sunny and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers always have good water pressure and lots of hot water. It was really nice to have a washing machine in the kitchen too. The star attraction though is the balcony! It’s fantastic with a beautiful view of the hills surrounding the village. I loved sitting out at night watching the lights and marvelling at how peaceful the area is! The apartment’s location is great, very easy to get places. San Michele is right between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, so going to either town for dinner or sightseeing takes almost no time. The bus service is very efficient and frequent. You can also walk to either town in less than 30 minutes. The apartment is in the hills so there’s some climbing to do every day. There’s a set of 135 steps from the village, but you can also walk the road instead. The apartment elevator was appreciated.

Très bon séjour chez Alberto et Agatha

Merci à Alberto et à Agatha pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. L'appartement est très bien situé. Les propriétaires nous ont donné de très bons conseils sur les jolis villages à visiter : Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Les 5 terres...et les bons restaurants!. Jolie crique pour se baigner à proximité. C'était super!

Très bel appartement

On a adoré notre séjour. L’appartement est spacieux et agréable. L’emplacement est idéal car on est à 10 min à pieds des plages… 3 magnifiques plages!… Agata et Alberto sauront bien vous renseigner car ils sont adorables.. la vue de la terrasse qui donne sur les collines de Ligurie est magnifique!… on y retournera le plus tôt possible 😉

La famille Dall'Oca était nos hotes le plus benvenus, polis, corrects et cordiaux. Il n'y a pas eu de problème de communication. Ils ont laissé l'appartement prope et rangé. S'ils veulent revenir, nous l'accueillerons avec grand plaisir.

Appartement fonctionnel et au calme

Appartement dans un immeuble propre et bien entretenu avec ascenseur. Deux grandes chambres (avec ventilateur) et deux salles de bain ce qui est très pratique. Le salon avec cuisine ouverte et bien équipée dispose d'un balcon où l'on peut manger tout en profitant d'une belle vue sur les collines de San Michele. L'accès à la mer se fait sans voiture par l'intermédiaire d'un escalier au pied de l'immeuble en 10 minutes. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et serviables et vous donnent de bons conseils. San Michele de Pagana est une localité idéalement située pour visiter la région à pied (Rapallo, Sainte Margherita de Liguria) ou en voiture.

Très bon séjour

L’appartement d’Agatha et d’Alberto est situé à San Michele sur la commune de Rappalo. Nous avons appréciées d’avoir 2 salles de bains pour 4 personnes et surtout la terrasse pour sa tranquillité et la vue au petit déjeuner. Sans voiture, nous avons beaucoup marché et pris le train pour visiter l’Italie. L’appartement est à 5 minutes par un grand escalier de San Michèle et à 20 minutes à pied de Rapallo où il y a une gare. La région est très belle et il y a beaucoup de choses à voir. En plus, Agatha et Alberto sont très gentils et très serviables. Encore merci

Siete stati ospiti educati e corretti. Ci è dispiaciuto tanto che non abbiate potuto godere la vostra vacanza, a causa della forte tempesta che si è abbattuta sulla costa ligure.

Premier séjour en Ligurie qui donne envie d'y revenir

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil des italiens en général et de nos hôtes. La location est très bien située proche de la plage et des commerces. Notre seul point négatif le bruit aux alentours.
