Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful and we saw bears everyday! We loved everything about this cabin and had a blast. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay and the cabin was accurately described. Our only complaint would be the lack of internet service in the cabin . Our phones wouldn't work very much so that was a concern. This cabin is also visited by a bear daily and one day he almost caught us eating on the deck. Overall we love Elk Springs Resort and would recommend them to anyone

Leaky roof / Secret Hideaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property management company was amazing! Very responsive and helpful. However, the cabin has a lot of issues that need to be taken care of. The day that it rained, there was seven different leaks in the roof of cabin. There was also a leak in the bathtub on the second floor that leaked all over in the master bedroom. Make sure these problems are fixed before you rent this cabin. We weren’t very happy about it and won’t rent this cabin again.

VrboOwner a répondu le 21 avr. 2026

Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about our team’s responsiveness—we truly appreciate that. We are very sorry to hear about the maintenance issues you experienced during your stay. The roof and plumbing concerns you described are certainly not acceptable, and we understand how disruptive that must have been. Please know these issues are being taken seriously and are being addressed to ensure they are fully resolved. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
