Barefoot Daze est situé à Water’s Edge, une communauté haut de gamme fermée sur le golfe, en bordure de Rosemary Beach, du côté du golfe de la Scenic Highway 30A. Avec 5 chambres à coucher réparties sur 3 niveaux, piscine privée et 1100 pieds carrés de balcons offrant une vue sur le golfe et la brise, c'est la maison de vacances idéale pour les clients recherchant une retraite de plage haut de gamme. Cette charmante maison de Floride a de nombreuses finitions personnalisées, y compris de hauts plafonds, des planchers de pin et des boiseries. La piscine privée de la maison peut être chauffée moyennant un supplément, ce qui permet de profiter en toute saison. Le porche arrière couvert dispose d'un barbecue à gaz et d'une table extérieure pour 8 personnes. Juste après la piscine, un chemin piétonnier bordé de palmiers mène à la plage privée du quartier à 100 mètres. Avec seulement 26 sites d’accueil et barrière de sécurité, Water’s Edge n’a pratiquement pas de circulation automobile. A pied ou à vélo les centres-villes de Seacrest, Alys et Rosemary sont à quelques minutes.

We were steps to everything in Rosemary Beach and the beach was just a few steps away. Location couldn't have been better! The beach is private and very few people. Never had to fight for prime beach spot. Definitely will come back

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 7 days at the Barefoot Daze in Water's Edge neighborhood. This is a great location and centrally located in Rosemary Beach. Royal Destinations' staff were all great. They responded to every need/concern we had. But The house was a little disappointing. The washer did not work (and could not be repaired); several floor tiles were broken and dangerous (we had a cut foot); the gate to the pool was broken; there was no pool alarm; If we get charged "top dollar" (and this was not an inexpensive rental), I expect the quality to match.

Love this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came here to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party and wow, this place could not have been more perfect! The location was especially just so amazing within walking distance from so many gems. The house was also ready early for us which was super convenient. The only downside for this home was the back patio. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures and it was way too hot to use (basically a warm bath temperature). Also, there were a ton of fire ant hills back there, so that should probably be dealt with. Neither of these issues were big problems for us as we were super busy, but if you’re looking to use the pool a lot, be aware of that!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Barefoot Daze has a great layout. We come to 30A every year with another family and have 5 kids ranging from 1 to 9. The layout with 3 floors gave everyone and both families enough space and room to come together for activities and alone time if needed. The pool is a nice refresher while the kids need a break from the beach which is just a quick 3 minute walk. Great private beach with chairs and umbrella. You are in the heart of everything and can walk anywhere you want from great dining to shopping to just a casual stroll.

With having 4 children under age 5 the location of the house was perfection, so SO close to the beach and so close to town in Rosemary. We will be back!!!

2023 summer trip to Florida

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great 5 days at Barefoot Daze. We also rented this same property in 2020 and noticed the updates throughout. There were no issues with the house or pool. We liked the added security of the beach access and appreciated the semi-private beach as compared to other beaches on either side of us. The proximity to all of the amenities of Rosemary and Seagrove make this an ideal location with the security of a gated entrance. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home with Amazing Location!

This home was incredible! The house was absolutely beautiful and and clean. The gated neighborhood was a great perk and having a private pool and walking distance to private beach was also amazing. It was so easy communicating with the rental company as well. It did say on the listing that there was beach towels at the home and I even asked to be sure and they said yes, however, there were none at the house. After asking again when we were there they said there would be none. But that was our only little hiccup! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Our kids loved the pool and the quick access to the beach. We loved the short walk downtown and pretty much everything about Rosemary Beach! We put in a request for the pool to be heated. By the 3rd day it was cool so I reached out to the property manager and they were quick to respond and had the pool heated up again by the time we returned home from dinner. We can't wait to come back and would definitely stay at Barefoot Daze again!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just concluded a fun week at Barefoot Daze. It is a GREAT location and the walk to the beach is as described (the dunes do have 3 flights of stairs but that's the same for everyone in the area!). The bedrooms weren't spacious but everyone had room (4 adults + 5 teens). The layout is pretty compact but was fine. The bedroom with the bunks is very small and there may be a leak or something with the air in that room and the king room on that side of the hall. Those rooms didn't get nearly as cool as the rest of the house but teens cranked the fans & were ok with it. The house could use some TLC/updating as the furniture looked a little tired (indoor and outdoor....there were no striped pads on the pool lounges like in the photo & compared with pool areas around it, wasn't nearly as nice) and some mattresses were very soft. Overall, it was a good place to stay. We'll probably look for something newer and more roomy next time but if this were the only option, we'd all be good with that. The management company was quick to respond when outside trash was full (they called & texted....texting was nice for quick questions!). We enjoyed the bikes provided and being able to easily walk to lots of shops & restaurants.

Not a house for 12

Even tho there were sleeping accommodations for 12, the house is only suitable for 8. The 3rd floor should be configured as a children's den. The beverage refrigerator never worked. WiFi was spotty. The dining table only seats 8 so that should tell guests and owner the maximum number of people.

The kitchen was well equiped. My kids spent hours in the heated pool. All appliances functioned well. The proximity to small town life in Seacrest Beach and Rosemary as well as the beach made this stay even better. The private beach access meant an uncrowded beach flanked by Rosemary and High Point crowds.

Pleasant experience. However, property was very dirty and unacceptable upon arrival - clump of hair in shower drain, sand on floor, food stuck on dishwasher handle, etc. After 2 additional cleanings, the house was good to go. Not the advertised promise of COVID cleanliness. The actual house was very nice and functional. The community was very nice.

Barefoot Daze (July 2020) - Family friendly property in a great location

My family and I stayed at Barefoot Daze in early July 2020 - our group consisted of 4 adults and 8 kids (ages newborn through 11). It was the perfect size property for us with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a decent size kitchen and dining room. The location was great with Seacrest Village and Rosemary Beach within a 5 to 7 minute walk with the beach even closer (also perfectly positioned on 30A to avoid heavy traffic). Some addition comments: Highlights: - Great location - Plenty spacious for two families - Private community so beach is not packed - Pool on property - property in good overall shape for a rental property - Property management extremely helpful when issues arose Items to Note: - Parking is limited to two vehicles and spaces are tight if your party has large SUVs - The Twin bunk room and queen room on 2nd floor run warmer than the other rooms (we had to set the A/C to 71 degrees for it to be mildly comfortable for those staying in the two rooms) - Expect there to be sand indoors when you arrive - The kitchen is decently stocked with what you'll need if cooking but would benefit from a few essentials like a towel rack, dish rack, more kitchen towels, etc. - Expect to have to run the dishwasher twice each load as it's a bit dated - Noise does have a tendency to travel through the floors as well as up the staircase. Again, we would definitely recommend the property to families looking for a solid property near the beach and close proximity to the nearby towns. AW

Close to beach and clean!

Barefoot Daze is very clean and up to date. Property Manager kept in communication with us. We were even able to check in a little early. We enjoyed the pool and how close the beach is. We definitely had a good time at Barefoot Daze!
