I am sorry about your experience with the bikes; while it is true that some guests use them recklessly and cause damage, we do inspect and ensure the bikes are in good working order between guest stays—and we did exactly that for your group of six, who had ten bikes at your disposal. It is also a pity that you didn't mention this issue to me during your stay.

A large and spacious house, great for a big family, each bedroom having own en-suite was very useful. The house is a little old fashioned and shabby in places but had everything we needed and a nice atmosphere. Lots of different outside seating areas.Pretty garden with lots of trees- orange, walnut and figs. Everyone enjoyed the good- sized pool. Bicycles were provided, too hot to use them much but a nice option.Walking distance to beach, beach bar and a couple of restaurants. Hard to find a big enough villa for our large party in July, but this worked very well for us,

Our family (ranging in age from 5 to 77) had a very enjoyable stay at this villa. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, and the location was great—a short walk to a lovely beach, the train station, and a couple of restaurants. The beach is pebbly, so water shoes were helpful.We had hoped to manage without a car, but found that having one made things much easier. The grocery store is a little too far to walk comfortably with groceries, and the train schedule wasn’t always convenient.The property itself was wonderful, and we especially appreciated having individually controlled air conditioning in each room. As other guests have mentioned, there isn’t really an indoor sitting area apart from the kitchen, which could be a consideration during particularly hot or cool weather. The stove was also a little temperamental and didn’t always start easily.Overall, we had a very good stay and would recommend the villa, particularly if you have a car.

Dear Judy, thank you for your review, but what you wrote about the living area is incorrect: the listing (including the photos) specifies that from November to April (when it is colder outside), the villa features an indoor living room, and the number of bedrooms changes from six to five. Family Holiday

Traditional Italian Villa really quirky with a beautiful pool, a few good restaurants within walking distance along with a nice beach bar. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Definitely would recommend a trip into Cefalù greta beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. Thank you Benedetto for your hospitality

Great location, beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at Giardino Paradiso. Benedetto is professional and caring, and we felt we were in good hands. We had several generations of our family staying there -- nine people -- and we were quite comfortable.

Very nice place

We stayed for 1 week, and we had a very nice vacation. It is easy to take the train to Cefalù or Palermo,the beach is just 5 min by bikes. I really loved the outdoor kitchen, easy to prepare good dinner or breakfast for many peoples. All just perfect 👍.

Fun for a family

This villa is perfect for a family stay, total 5 bedrooms in the main house and 1 bd/ba in a separate house. We stayed in April and our pool was heated, we enjoyed swimming even though it was cool weather. Location is very nice. 3 very good restaurants in walking distance. We were going to Cefalu quite often for lunch/dinner and beach. Huge backyard for kids to run around and play structures. 2 large outdoor tables for alfresco eating.

A wonderful house

We had a very pleasent stay at Giordan Paradiso. The host were most serviceminded and helpful in all ways. The villa had all facilities that you needed for a week. A beautiful garden and a pool that our grandchildren loved. We can highly recommend this house,

We had eight family members including small children. The rooms were all comfortable and accommodating. We could walk to restaurants and walk to beautiful beaches. Or spend a day having fun in the pool or hosting a party with a moustache licking meal prepared by Chef Marco. The host for the villa was also first class

Great holiday

Everything met expectations. The house with generous space and well equipped kitchen and very nice and comfortable social area outside. The pool perfect. Nice beach in walking distance and the restaurant Da Piero was perfect for family with excellent service. Walk or bicycle to supermarket. We are very satisfied with the stay.

Family holiday

Lovely house for a family gathering. As we visited early in the season we paid for the pool to be heated which was well worth it, we thoroughly enjoyed swimming, playing with the pool toys and sunbathing. Our granddaughter was well provided for with highchair, cot, and garden toys too. A car is needed to get to the local supermarket and to explore the area.

Lovely Sicilian Getaway

We just returned from a lovely two week Sicilian getaway. The villa is just as described. We enjoyed the home, pool, garden, and bicycles. The villa location is close to 2 excellent restaurants, within walking distance and the beach. Benedetto was so helpful. He arranged for a chef to come to the villa to prepare several delicious dinners. So magical to dine in the garden after a great day of sightseeing in Sicily. We will be booking this amazing property again. Ci vediamo presto !

Great venue for a family holiday

We are a family of 4 couples one single and one small child. Comfortable large bedrooms with aircon and en-suite shower rooms. Perfect for our needs. Great pool. Two outdoor eating / sitting /chatting areas and BBQ used regularly. Garden with play area for our toddler. Very good supermarket 10-15 walk, great selection of fresh fish and seafood. Train station similar easy walk with regular trains to Cefalu and Palermo. Beach 10 mins easy walk Recommended

There are a lot of really excellent aspects of this property. The bedrooms and washrooms are great and there are 6. Plenty for a large group of friends or family. The pool is great, nice patio, good sunshine and clean. It is easy to find the place and easy drive to Cefalu or to get anywhere in Sicily. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. The outdoor dining areas are great. Things that could be better: there is no large room to sit inside other than the kitchen. We used the outdoor area next to the kitchen which was fine except when it rained hard. The beach is a good long walking distance away, if you are into that and the you had to drive to get groceries or a cafe etc. overall we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it if you are there to go to the beach or want to use it as a place to explore Sicily.

A brilliant large group villa in a great location!

We stayed as large family group using 5 bedrooms with one spare. Each room had its own bathroom which was really appreciated. Lovely pool and loads of outside space. We booked the chef for a birthday meal and can highly recommend - wonderful food and great personal service. Benedetto was a great host and helped whenever we needed it. Professional and friendly. Walking distance to beach and cafes of lascari , a short drive to cefalu. We had great weather late September except for 1 rainy day. It was a fabulous holiday. Thank you!

Had a terrific holiday at this villa and would highly recommend. We were a party of 11 ages ranging from 12 to 81.We used all 6 bedrooms and there was plenty of room for all of us.Great outside spaces for eating and a fantastic pool and lovely surround for sunbathing.Benedetto was a perfect host, always on hand if needed. We managed without a car , three restaurants and the beach an easy walk away, also a well stocked supermarket.The railway station around 15 mins walk was well used for trips to Cefalu, a lovely seaside town with lots of shops and eateries .Only 8 minutes on the train so easy to pop in for a few hours. The younger ones in our party made full use of the bikes for trips to the beach and shopping. One of the highlights of our stay was having Marco come to us and cook a truly sumptuous 3 course meal, a wonderful experience! We have had a few family holidays and the overall feeling was this was the best one ever! Thankyou Benedetto, we were sad to leave.

Lives up to its name - paradise

We had a wonderful stay the first 2 weeks of May. The villa had everything we needed, the bedrooms were ideal for large groups with en suite, tv and fridge in every room. Lots of outdoor space which accommodated 13 ppl with ease. The pool was the highlight for all the children (and adults) and the ability to pick fresh fruit from the trees every morning was such a treat. We booked Marco the chef and his partner for an exquisite dinner, wld highly recommend. Benedetto was a great host, promptly responded to any message or request and was very friendly. Word of warning the mosquitos can be fierce, especially on an our pale skin so be prepared, the darker skinned in the party weren’t so bothered. The sun shone every day apart from 1 day and the Vila was perfectly positioned for the beach just a 2 min cycle away and restaurants and train station to take us to nearby Cefalu and Palermo. We all had a really lovely holiday and will look back on it with very fond memories. Thank you Benedetto

A very lovely place for the family

Benedetto was an excellent host. We were there while it was very rainy and not having an inside sitting area was a bit of a problem. However the warm outdoor pool was a life saver on cold cloudy days. Easy walk to the beach, the train station and the supermarket.We managed with out a car and did trips to palermo and cefalu. Excellent Sicilian dinner cooked by chef Marco. Extensive outdoor space was a real advantage for us with small kids in our group who loved the swings. Easy walk to two restaurants and the lido on the beach. Picked fresh mulberries, loquats and oranges from the garden. If the weather had been better it would have been perfect but was a bit hard to manage the space in very rainy weather. To be fair we were there during the floods in Italy so everywhere was struggling.

Perfect for large group

All bedrooms had en suite bathrooms , large pool and outdoor places to eat Would give a 5 star but the shower doors in the bathrooms should be replaced. The bi folding doors are dirty and make the showers very small. Our shower did not drain well so we stood in water when taking a shower. 2. WiFi is not strong enough. Need repeaters in each room. Only works in the kitchen and not very well. I think if these 2 items were addressed, it would be a 5 star place

Thanks for the advice received: the strength of the wi fi signal is the maximum that can be obtained in this area; I hope that next year the fiber will be activated whose work has begun; as for the showers we will check, but the space is for one person.

Great time!

We had a great time at the villa . It was all as advertised and all bedrooms had en suite which was great for a large group (12 of us ) We did have a car which was useful for shopping and trips further afield but we also walked to the station for trips to Cefalu and Palermo (amazing food in Palermo!) The trains were on time and very clean and comfortable but there aren’t many of them so you do need to plan your trip well with the timetable . One in our party went horse riding which was a great trip out . We also walked to the local beach (10 mins) which was much quieter than Cefalu. We all had fun in the pool which was lovely to cool down in . The kitchen was very well equipped with absolutely everything you would need . Benedetto replied quickly to messages from the beginning and was always helpful and respectful. All in all we had a really great time and would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone who would like to visit this lovely area of Sicily.

Trip in June2019

We were very pleased with this property. The villa was huge, 6 bedrooms and a bathroom in each room. The actual house has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a kitchen. There is also a separate house, by the pool with a bedroom and bathroom. This was a plus for us as my brother stayed in the pool house and enjoyed his privacy away from all the chaos of our children. During the summer, if all the bedrooms are used there is no living room in the actual house. Rather the living room is outside. At first we were concerned about this as we had 4 children who wanted a space of their own, but we quickly learned that we spent most of our time outside since the weather was so beautiful. The kitchen was large with a large table. Outside there were 2 additional seating areas and a outdoor living room space. WE enjoyed the beautiful pool, with lounge chairs and as large umbrella. The kids enjoyed the backyard with swing set and large lawn to play soccer. The house has a washer machine and clothes lines for drying items. The beach was a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute easy walk. The beach had plenty of free parking. The beach is sandy, while there are rocks closer to the water so water shoes are recommended. The water was warm and calm and the children could play in the water for several feet before it became deep. The beach was never crowded. The home did come equipped with beach towels, umbrellas, sand toys and pool toys. The home also came with sheets and bath towels. Each room has air conditioning as well. The owner was friendly and helped us if problems arised. The home had a large outdoor table that seated over 20 people. We were able to have family over and enjoy dinners together. We were a family of 11, which included 4 children ages 5 to 11. The home accommodated all of us comfortably . Lascari is about a 15 minute easy drive to Cefalu, which we frequented often. We never took the train, it did not seem to be running often while we were there. There were several restaurants we visited and a large grocery store 5 minutes away. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to large groups.

Parfait!

Nous avons loué la villa pour une semaine de vacances en famille. Nous étions 8 adultes et 4 enfants en bas âge. La Villa est conforme aux photos, très grande, bien entretenue et pratique. Le jardin arborant la villa est magnifique, il vous suffit de ramasser les fruits des nombreux arbres fruitiers présents pour vous régaler! La piscine est également somptueuse, chauffée à 28 degrés c'était extra! La présence des vélos et sièges pour enfants est appréciable pour se rendre à la plage à quelques centaines de mètres de la Villa. Le propriétaire Benedetto est au petit soin pour ses hôtes, très accueillant et sympathique, vous pouvez lui faire confiance à 100%! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter, tout était parfait!
