Le renforcement de l'Ă©co-Belle dans le coeur des montagnes Rocheuses

SituĂ© dans la magnifique vallĂ©e de Blaeberry, Ă  15 minutes de Golden, notre Cordwood Chalet est l'endroit parfait pour le calme et la tranquillitĂ© au coeur de la nature. Nouvellement construit et confortable, son emplacement offre un large Ă©ventail d'activitĂ©s de plein air. Mon partenaire et moi avons pris 6 ans pour construire ce petit paradis. Nous avons concevoir et construire le lieu entiĂšrement nous-mĂȘmes. Nous avons essayĂ© d'utiliser des produits Ă©cologiques autant que nous le pouvions et nous sommes fiers d'offrir Ă  nos clients un environnement magnifique.
Au coeur des montagnes Rocheuses, Cordwood Chalet est sur un 8 acres beaucoup. Le quartier environnant se composent principalement des superficies montagnes et la forĂȘt. Notre Crystal River blaeberry clair minutes Ă  pied du chalet oĂč une vue incroyable sur les environs peuvent ĂȘtre observer. RandonnĂ©e, vĂ©lo, raquette, ski de fond, ski alpin, la motoneige sont quelques-uns de plusieurs sorties qui peuvent ĂȘtre faites dans la rĂ©gion. Notre maison est Ă  environ 300 mĂštres de la Cordwood Chalet. Il dispose de sa propre entrĂ©e et est complĂštement auto-suffisant. Les clients saluent l'arrivĂ©e et nous sommes disponibles pour eux Ă  tout moment pour des questions ou commentaires. Anglais, français et espagnol est parlĂ©

It was a magical stay, light snow all weekend, great temps, and the house/cabin and property were amazing. Priscilla was a great host, the house was beautifully finished, and both bathrooms were perfect, great little kitchen and spacious living room with a wood-burning stove.Good-sized loft with a solid stairwell to it, no ladders like in other cabins we have stayed at. 5/5 10/10 all day long, will not disappoint!We will be back in the summer :) Chris N & Terry Calgary ABDec 2025

Amazing vacation

My husband and I spent our Babymoon here, and had an absolutely fantastic stay. The views were amazing, we birdwatched all day long. A quick trip into Golden for groceries and restaurants. It was easy to find even coming in later in the evening. Communication was amazing. Overall would stay again :)

The home is situated 20 minutes outside of Golden in a quiet, serene area. The home itself still feels brand new and was a perfect quiet base camp for our trip in Yoho. Host was communicative and helpful, 5 star stay!

This chalet is THE place to go if you want tranquility. Priscilla is an excellent host and she has all the information you need for a great stay. The chalet is beautiful and fully equipped. The area is just wonderful with mountains, trees, creeks, river and the occasional wildlife. We didn't want to leave.

A Perfect Paradise

If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it. If the sounds of birds singing and trees dancing in the mountain breezes are your thing, this is it. The chalet was the perfect getaway for us after three nights in Canmore/Banff. We were looking to dial back our interactions with humanity and just enjoy nature. We found what we were looking for. Isolated, but close to fun things such as whitewater rafting, the Golden Skybridge, Eagles Eye Restaurant at Kicking Horse Resort, etc. Prescilla was the perfect host and greeted us at check-in. The chalet was immaculate and wonderful. We would return in a heartbeat.

Immaculate Chalet

This place was so great, we tried to respect and leave everything as it was when we arrived. We didn’t get to meet Priscilla but her place is just wonderful. So peaceful and perfect for a couple. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and this was the perfect hide away chalet. One thing my wife wanted was maybe a privacy curtain in the bathroom window, but mountains and trees surrounded the place totally. Never saw anyone except a deer. Again just perfect..

Peace in the Valley

This is a fantastic property in the Blaeberry valley close to Golden. A car is a necessity. If you’re looking for a brilliant property in peace and tranquility then this property is it. We saw two deer walk through the garden. The owner Prescilla is very welcoming and helpful.

Back woods paradise

This cabin is a “one of a kind” paradise. Lots of wood and stone skillfully strewn together to create a home away from home. Every window, doorframe and corner draws the eye. The kitchen is warm and functional, supplied with all the amenities as well as some basic spices. The loft bathroom with tub has a large window looking out into the woods. Two outdoor patios complement and expand the indoor space. A short drive to Thompson Falls trail.

Great getaway

Came back in the summer and the place is great. Thanks to the unique design the temperature inside stays comfortable even during the hottest days. And the big patio is great in the summer!

Amazing gem

This property is fantastic! It sits in the middle of raw mountain beauty! Waterfalls all around the location, deer come right into the yard, complete privacy! The cabin has everything you could need or want! Would stay here over and over!!

Black bear right outside our window

Very peaceful and private you can tell the chalet was handmade with love by owners!! MOST enjoyable was seeing a black bear just outside the window one morning. Host was super helpful on tips on places to hike, where to get to supplies, and general tips on getting around. Be sure to check with host before your trip to verify when the Trans Canadian Highway will and will not be open. When we stayed it was closed daily between 10pm and 7am

Back for a second time

Thoroughly enjoyed the second trip to this amazing cabin in the mountains. Loved walking/biking every day in the area and sitting on the deck listening to all the birds. The cabin has been perfectly maintained and the host is always quick to respond. Great place to stay for a quiet, scenic, rural vacation.

Beautiful retreat in nature

Really enjoyed our time here! The chalet itself is a piece of architectural art and I found myself in awe of its many unique features - really cool. Best Experience in my life

You would not feel like you are traveling, you will feel like it is an extension of your home. I went in winter, the peaceful neighborhood that can be quiet without a sound at night, but the beautiful creeks during the day with the singing of birds remind you that you are surrounded by life. Peaceful Chalet

Our stay at this quaint Chalet nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies was one of the best experiences we've had. One can see that this place was thought out and built with beauty and relaxation in mind. The owners' attention to detail is very evident...the window views, kitchen, living room with a cozy woodstove were all little details that we enjoyed. Would love to stay here again sometime. Also I do have to add that the owner Priscilla was very understanding and helpful with whatever we needed, even with an embarrassing mistake that I had made on my part. Thank you again.
