Wow, what an amazing home! There was so much space for us and the dog. Everything was immaculate and clean, and we had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location was within easy walking distance from pubs and shops. Couldn’t have asked for more!

This is a big and beautiful country cottage with all modern conveniences and amenities. The location is quiet and scenic, but very close to Waterville and the Ring of Kerry. It’s an ideal spot for exploring the Ring of Kerry. Very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, great beds and TV service. We found it a good value and Ted, the owner was always very quick to respond to our questions and pleasant to work with.

We were not happy with the condition of the home; we could not use the primary bathroom shower because it was terribly dirty and the water was backflowing up the drain. The other bathroom shower on the main level also backed up. The kitchen was unclean, and the fridge was completed frozen, the freezer was not accessible either. A family member who owns a well-established bed and breakfast brought her cleaning products so that we could at least clean out the shower in the primary bathroom, it took over an hour to scrub all the tiles!When I complained to the host that we were dissatisfied with the home, he texts that other visitors never complained and their past reviews were excellent. Clearly standards have fallen and I would suggest a change to property management.

5 days in Ireland

Had a nice stay. Weather was terrible so we made use of the jigsaw and books provided. House was nice with lots of space.

Great house

Wonderful house that was ideal for us and the dogs. It was ideally located as well to reach the places we wanted to visit such as Derrynane, Kells Bay and Valentia. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Waterville

Great property

Great property, with amazing views - we were blessed with fantastic weather which meant we were able to be outside most of the time at the beaches - mostly Derrynane and Roonroe, but we would have been happy to spend more time in the house had the weather forced us inside!

Ideal location & perfect house

Great hosts with excellent communication before and on arrival day. The house was modern, spacious and well equipped (especially the kitchen, garden & BBQ)-by far the best we’ve rented in the last 10years in South Kerry. Wonderful views and an easy15min walk to Waterville’s shops, pubs & restaurants. Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed as it is a delightful home with gorgeous views and easy access to walk to Waterville and the Kerry Way. This home is in such a peaceful and tranquil location, it provided us with a wonderfully restorative holiday. The owner is very welcoming and responsive. We look forward to returning again to this lovely home!

This cottage is a wonderfully charming and comfortable place to relax and enjoy County Kerry’s coastline and towns. The cottage is spacious with room to accommodate larger groups but still felt very cozy for our group of four. The bedrooms are good sized and there are bathrooms to spare. The 5 jet shower in the master bedroom was a surprise and quickly became one of the highlights of the stay. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The dishwasher was a welcome perk as were the clothes washer/dryer. We had all of our meals in the sunroom dining area and very much enjoyed the view and peaceful atmosphere. WiFi signal was strong and the television received local and satellite channels, though we enjoyed just sitting and chatting in the comfortable living room area. The host and caretaker were extremely nice, informative, and quick to answer any queries. Waterville has many local activities and is conveniently located to explore and experience those throughout County Kerry. Waterville has several restaurants that serve top quality fare as well as a small but well stocked grocery store and a fantastic butcher shop that has fresh locally sourced meat at very reasonable prices. We Waterville is also one of a handful of Gold Tier stargazing locations in the world. Killarney and Dingle are near enough to drive to for day trips and there are many villages nearby that we enjoyed visiting. I recommend checking out Quinlan’s Fish Shop in Cahaerciveen for amazingly fresh seafood.

This is a beautiful, very large and comfortable house which really offers anything you could possibly need: golf clubs, outdoor clothing, games, books, dvds are all there to use. The location is perfect, very quiet and with a lovely view but close to Waterville with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. The only thing we regretted is that we could only spend 4 nights in this spectacularly beautiful part of Ireland. Communication with the owner and the housekeeper was a bit limited but correct: upon our request we received directions for the check-in and the handling of garbage. All in all we would be delighted to stay in this very comfortable house again.

The pictures on the website do not do this house justice. Beautiful house with loads of room. Lovely quiet part of Waterville will a lovely beach for walking nearby. In addition while we did not meet Ted and Pauline they answered every query we had. Thank you.

Tres grands espaces dans cette vaste maison. Salon cosy avec sa cheminée, veranda ouvrant sur le lac et les montagnes. Velos, clubs de golf, barbecue ! Jacuzzi tres apprécié. Situation géographique idéale pour visite le kerry.

Gut ausgestattet und geräumig

Ein Haus, in dem alles vorhanden ist, was man in einem Urlaub benötigt. Es ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Auch mit mehreren Personen kann man hier eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Die Umgebung ist toll, die Tipps vom Gastgeber waren sehr hilfreich und zutreffend. Wir haben eine sehr angenehme Woche hier verbracht.
