Charmant chalet familial, classé grade II, 3 chambres - 7 couchages

Mill House est un bĂątiment classĂ© Grade II d'intĂ©rĂȘt historique. Les chambres du rez-de-chaussĂ©e ont des poutres apparentes et toutes les chambres donnent sur la piscine du moulin.

Le chalet est situé juste à cÎté de la piscine Mill, un ruisseau sans marée au large de l'estuaire de la riviÚre Dart.

Vous entrez dans la maison par un porche en pierre, qui mĂšne au salon avec la cuisine Ă  droite.

Il y a un petit jardin Ă  l'arriĂšre et une terrasse pavĂ©e Ă  l'avant oĂč vous pouvez regarder le monde passer ainsi que toutes les activitĂ©s sur la piscine du Moulin.

Le chalet, tout en Ă©tant trĂšs confortable et idĂ©al pour des vacances reposantes, est Ă©galement bien adaptĂ© pour la marche, la pĂȘche ou la voile et il y a des plages, des promenades cĂŽtiĂšres et estuaires et Dartmoor Ă  proximitĂ©.

Le crabe au bord de la piscine est un favori particulier.

Upon arrival we found some areas of the house not as clean as we expected. The double bed could also use a new fitted sheet-it would appear to have shrunk over time.Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we loved the restaurants in the area. We did have a problem with the shower but Struan was “on it” and it was fixed as soon as possible. Thank you.

Und wieder könnten wir sechs Sterne ****** vergeben fĂŒr eine tolle, helle und moderne Ferienwohnung mit einem super Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist klimatisiert. Am Abend sitzt man mit einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, toll. Die Vermieter sind wie Familie und haben uns " gepampert " und uns ein rundum WohlfĂŒhlpaket geboten. Das Meer ist nicht sehr tief, geht max. bis zum Oberkörper und der Strand ist schön. Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort und sind 2026 wieder da. Vielen Dank an Miriam, Konstantin und Michael.

The Mill House

Our family of 5 had a wonderful short break at the Mill house. I can't fault it. It was clean and welcoming and had all that was needed for our stay. It's situated in a beautiful part of devon and wish we had the weather to enjoy the coastline, unfortunately it rained right through. We will definitely be returning in the summer.

The property was a lot smaller than anticipated, it was cozy for 4 adults and 2 teenagers but it was lovely. The location was amazing, we loved the mill pond and the little village. The kitchen was well equipped and clean and the garden was a great space to relax. The beds were comfortable but I do think the pillows is the master bedroom are in need of replacing. Also we noticed a faint drain smell in the bedroom after flushing the toilet in the en-suite. This didn’t ruin our stay though. Overall we would definitely recommend the Mill house.

Family trip

Grew up spending summer holidays in the area so decided for a trip down memory lane. Lovely cottage and well located close to the Mill Pond. Very well stocked (other than shower gel, shampoo etc) and comfortable. Definitely recommend

Great location

Lovely house, great place to stay. Newly fitted bathrooms. Kitchen a little cramped for 7. Location is great, especially if you have kids that enjoy crabbing! Two restaurants and two pubs within easy walking distance.

Summer Getaway

From the booking to arrival, stay and departure were easy and straight forward. It is in a nice quite location with all the equipment needed. We had a relaxing stay with friends / family who all said they thoroughly enjoyed it and felt completely refreshed.

Great stay

The communication was excellent. Allowed to extend our stay and also to enter the property early on the day arrival. The property was exactly as described and in a beautiful setting within a 5 minute walk to four pubs/restaurants and the well stocked village store. The neighbours were very friendly and gave a few helpfull tips. Main supermarket was under 15 minutes away. Lots of beautifull places to visit around South Hams. We had our own parking space along with a sign allowing another car to be parked in the adjacent car park. Overall a lovely peaceful place to stay with stunningly scenery. Recommend booking into the River Shack to ensure you get a table as is full over summer weekends.

Beautiful house, in a beautiful setting. A real hidden gem is how I would describe stoke gabriel. The mill house positioning couldn’t be better. Everything you want and expect of a chocolate box holiday cottage.

Perfect Holiday

Highly recommend this Property, the best way i can describe it is that it's a home from home. Very comfortable, clean property, perfect location and great for families. We have booked to stay again in the summer, cannot wait 😊
