Wharf Stables se trouve dans l'enceinte de la rĂ©sidence privĂ©e connue sous le nom 'The Wharf' aux cĂŽtĂ©s de Stratford sur Avon Canal Navigation dans le village de Wilmcote. Maison de Mary Arden, oĂč la mĂšre de Shakespeare a vĂ©cu, est l'une des principales attractions de la rĂ©gion et est situĂ© Ă  environ 400 mĂštres de la let de vacances.
Le village est également idéalement situé pour ceux qui souhaitent explorer la région des Cotswolds, Warwick, Kenilworth et ses environs, en plus de profiter de l'expérience shakespearien à Stratford-upon-Avon. Warwick Castle est l'un des chùteaux médiévaux les mieux conservés en Grande-Bretagne ..
Le logement de vacances est une conversion d'un ancien bloc de pierre stable. Il a été utilisé à l'origine au début du 19Úme siÚcle pour garder les poneys utilisés pour tirer les charrettes de la carriÚre Wilmcote au quai.
Le logement se compose de 2 chambres, un lit king-size, et un superking avec une option pour split de 2 lits simples. Les deux chambres ont une salle de suites (une avec baignoire). Le logement de vacances est livrĂ© complet avec des installations nĂ©cessaires pour rendre votre sĂ©jour agrĂ©able. Y compris wifi, lave-vaisselle, TV 42 pouces avec TNT, radio avec USB et Bluetooth, congĂ©lateur et laveuse / sĂ©cheuse. Il est entiĂšrement chauffĂ© au centre avec porte-serviettes chauffant et gaz Ă  effet de poĂȘle.
Wilmcote a un bon accÚs à Stratford et, si vous le souhaitez, le train est à 5 minutes à pied. Descendez le chemin de halage ou de sauter sur le bus touristique qui circule réguliÚrement entre les attractions touristiques shakespeariens.
Il y a un magasin général dans le village, 2 maisons publiques et St. Eglise Andrews.

We had a brilliant time at Wharfe Stables over Christmas with our family.The accommodation was excellent, clean and included everything we could have needed, including a lovely 'welcome pack'.The floor plan was perfect with the two en-suite bedrooms either side of the Lounge/Kitchen area.The host were very pleasant and friendly and the surroundings perfect.We intend to go again.

Warf Stables was a beautiful cottage in a fabulous location. The accommodation was really well laid out and very comfortable & spotlessly clean. The outlook from the cottage was gorgeous with the canal & wooded areas providing an ideal spot for wildlife. Our host Liz was most welcoming and Bertie, her beautiful & friendly golden retriever was a most welcomed daily guest. Warf Stables is truly a place where you can relax & enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery and ideally located for visits to nearby Stratford & other historic & interesting locations. We would certainly recommend this accommodation to friends & family & hopefully, we will be returning in 2026 for another delightful stay.

Wharf Stables is a delightful little cottage by the canal. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of goodies and it had plenty of supplies of toiletries. Spotlessly clean and warm with lovely comfy beds. We met Liz several times who was very friendly and helpful. The swans, rabbits and squirrels were fun to watch. Lots of places to visit and walk close by made it the perfect location to stay.

We rent a lot of properties for our holidays over the years and this is without doubt THE BEST.Situated down a quiet lane on the owner’s property and land next to the canal with views across the garden and trees.The interior is superb. Enter into lounge,diner, kitchen with two double bedrooms en-suite at each end of the cottage/bungalow. The beds and bed linen are very very good. Lovely thick towels.Kitchen has everything you need in top quality condition.Wilcote has great shop. The church despite being small has lots of historical Christian relics. Travel to Stratford upon Avon is easy. Bus/train/ park & ride.Recommend The View for coffee or lunch
.just a couple miles up the road to Henley in Arden.

Peaceful location. Helpful owners. 'Bertie' the owners dog is nice and friendly. Welcome food basket and milk, a nice touch. The whole cottage well furnished. You can get to Stratford by the canal towpath or the local train service. The Stratford sites tour bus stops in the village on its circular route.

Excellent stay

The cottage is just a described on vrbo. Everything in great condition. We had some issues with the washing machine/tumble dryer. This was solved immediately by Liz an Alan. The owners are very helpful. Thank you both for helping me with my car trouble. We would definitely come back and stay at this location again.

What a beautiful property within a perfect, tranquil setting. Loved sitting on the canal side watching the canal boats go by and watching the wonderful wildlife. Plenty of seating options within the spacious grounds. It was a central base for us to visit Stratford Upon Avon but mainly to visit the stunning Cotswolds. The property is very well presented with every amenity for a home from home experience. Liz and Alan are wonderful hosts, loved talking to them but they are by no means intrusive just there if you need them. Our main highlight was their wonderful, friendly dog Bertie. He greeted us every day when we returned from our travels which we loved. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the area. Can’t recommend it enough.

Idyllic Setting

Wonderful week spent at Wharf Stables. Lovely peaceful setting with canal running along the bottom of the garden. Lots of wild life to watch and enjoy. Well equipped, with good quality bedding, towels, and comfy beds. Owners Alan and Liz were wonderful hosts, engaging and happy to spend time chatting. We hope to return soon.

The property is of a high standard in an iydilic location by the edge of the canal with well maintained gardens and wildlife area. The railway station is a 5 minute walk from the property and the train journey into Stratford is only 7 minutes. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely look to book again.

We absolutely loved this property. The location was perfect for us, safe, secure, secluded. Alan and his wife were welcoming and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. A wonderful trip down memory lane

My 2 daughters and I had such a special holiday staying in The Stables, it was everything I had hoped for and more. Liz & Alan made us feel so welcome, they are such lovely people. The cottage was bright, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed and the welcome basket and milk were very much appreciated.
