Villa santa cruz est une charmante villa aux lignes contemporaines complètement rénovée il y a 2 ans , et inséré dans une petite pinede dans un village pitoresque -Cotovia. Située a environ 4 km de la ville de Sesimbra c'est l'endroit ideal pour ceux qui recherchent le repos, l'intimité et la tranquillité de la nature mais proche de beaucoup de plages magnifiques

La villa a 10 chambres dont 3 en suite , 7 Salles de Bain, un grand séjour avec plus 100 m2 avec grande table à manger , grande cuisine , barbecue et terrasses très confortables avec une outre table dehors pour repas et aussi un lounge est ideal pour grandes familles et groupes d'amies

Toute la maison est climatisée.
Parking pour 8 voitures au jardin privee de la propriete

Toutes les personnes qui souhaitent voyager avec leurs animaux de compagnie seront bien venues après l’avoir bien informé dans la demande de location et reçu l’acceptation.

Villa Santa Cruz is a private property of 3000m2 with a large house of 500 m2,with air conditioned, 10 bedrooms, garden and private swimming pool which can accommodate 20 people

The property is located 30 minutes from Lisbon and only 5 minutes from the beaches.

Villa santa cruz is a charming villa with contemporary lines completely renovated 2 years ago, and inserted in a small pine forest in a picturesque village -Cotovia.
Located about 4 km from the town of Sesimbra it is the ideal place for those looking for rest, privacy and tranquility of nature but close enough to many beautiful beaches

The villa has 10 bedrooms including 3 en suite, 7 bathrooms, a large living room with over 100 m2 with large dining table, large kitchen, barbecue and very comfortable terraces with outdoor table for meals and also a lounge is ideal for large families and groups of friends

The whole house is air-conditioned.
Parking for 8 cars in the private garden of the property

All people who wish to travel with their pets will be welcome after having informed them well in the rental application and received acceptance.

At home, as well as on the terraces, you can feel a contemporary atmosphere influenced by several traditional Portuguese elements that tell the story of the family.

This turned out to be perfect for our mixed family group of 13.Booking was easy and communication with Ana (host) was excellent throughout. She was immensely helpful and provided good information and recommendations that were all great.When we arrived, it did feel as though some bits were a bit tired and could do with updating. The kitchen surfaces were a bit sticky but easily solved with giving them a good clean. However once we settled in, the villa really suited us. Bedrooms and bathrooms as described were comfortable and good. The communal spaces were large with lots of dining space and the kitchen well equipped despite our initial misgivings. 2 large fridge freezers served us well. The pool was brilliant and got lots of use. We did think that the area around the pool could be expanded somewhat so that could have more sunbeds - on 3 sides potentially.Outdoor eating space and barbecue got used well and was fine for us but probably not for a bigger group. The garden could do with a tidy up and create much more usable family space. It's a potential opportunity. There was loads of parking space.All in all we had an excellent holiday. Any minor criticism is meant to be helpful.Ana even recommended a local cook who came in to cook a traditionally Portuguese 75th birthday meal. We loved it.Lastly, well positioned with many excellent supermarkets, only a 10 minute drive to Sesimbra and 20 minutes to the lovely west coast.

Great Hosts for a great House

Ana and Antonio were incredibly helpful with setting up dinner, recommending things to do, and solving any issues we faced. The property itself was great for our group of 18, plenty of space and a cool fruit tree that you can eat! Will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in the Lisbon Area (40 min drive).

Family Holiday

Amazing villa, very spacious and spotless! Lovely decor. Location is a bit remote but the supermarket is a few minutes away and it was super easy to take a taxi wherever we wanted to go. Ana couldn’t have been more helpful, she was very keen to ensure our stay was perfect and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. Overall I would highly recommend- we had a fantastic time.

A wonderful venue for a family gathering

We were a group of 14 persons and were extremely happy with the home and the ammenities (many kitchen supplies) for cooking and dining together. The pool was a hit. Ana, our host, went above and beyond to help us with our questions and meeting us in person at the home for check-in. Wonderful host, lovely Region to explore and great beaches!

Fantastic Villa for a Large Group

We had an amazing time here. Good location, with an easy short drive to beautiful Sesimbra and the surrounding beaches. Also only 30min drive into Lisbon. The villa was clean and spacious. All the rooms were of a good quality. The pool was very clean and warm. The kitchen was great for a large group. And lots of supermarket options nearby. Thank you to Ana for being such a great host!

A nice villa in an excellent location for all the excellent beaches, but in need of some upgrading. External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone.

Sadly the place as been neglected

The place was tired and needs some money spending on it. It could be a lovely place. Ideal for large parties. The host was really great and very helpful. There is only 6 sun loungers for such a big villa. The place is looking run down and the bedrooms smelt damp. We also found several drawing pins on the floors and rusty nails. Not good if your bare footed. We made the most of it, despite the dogs barking next door all day and night. On a plus taxi prices were reasonable and Uber eats are a plus.

Family holiday

A great property for a big group and an even better pool. Had a brilliant holiday and Ana and Antonio were so helpful, made lots of things easier. Sesimbra beach was great in the day and lovely to walk along in the evening. Setubal also lovely place to visit for a dolphin boat trip! The only thing we would do differently is plan for transport. Hire a car or 2 perhaps. Über was widely available and came within minutes 90% of the time…. (Don’t go too remote on a sunday evening!) but the cost racks up if you’re going out a lot. Shop is close enough to walk but get a trip back if you have heavy goods. If you sort transport, it’s a fabulous place to stay. The pool and outside area is where we spent most of our time and it made for a great week. Thanks again Ana.

Family holiday

18 of us stayed in Villa Santa Cruz, 13 adults and 5 kids. The villa was lovely and spacious, lots of bedrooms for us all. The kitchen was great, well stocked with all kitchen utensils, had 2 fridges, one for food and one for drinks, think another oven would have been a great asset for the size of the kitchen. The outside area was also lovely, lots of space for outside dinning. The pool was a good size, both kids and adults had a great time in it, especially as it was so hot the last few days. The only setback for us was there wasnt enough sunbeds, but there was plenty of chairs on the decking area. The villa supplied pool towels which was a bonus. The BBQ was great and got used a few times. Theres not much around the area, just a couple of cafes and McDonalds. You could get a taxi to Sesimbra town and beach which took about 10mins and cost on average Euros 5, there were plenty of Ubers. Sesimbra beach is lovely, the sand is soft and the water is clear and shallow. There are lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. The supermarket is only 10minutes walk away. Overall i would recommend staying at Villa Santa Cruz

80th Family Birthday Party expectations UNFULFILLED

We planned a 80th Birthday party for my wife and 14 family members. From day one we had problems with the electrical system on the property. First the wi-fi went down and then the stove and dishwasher. After that was reported we were instructed, over the phone, how to reset the circuit breakers for the house that had separate ones on each floor (not something that guests should have to do!). The owner's agents needed time to fix a circuit breaker so they told us to that the stove would be plugged into a hall socket whose circuit was not the right size for the stove therefore putting limits on the stove's use. We hired a private chef to cook a lavish Birthday Dinner for the 14 of us on the third day of our stay We were advised that everything would be fixed by dinner time. The chef came and was preparing the dinner when all of the electricity in the house went off. It was necessary for him to cook on a small charcoal grill outside that would only cook a portion of the meal at a time. As a result this Special Birthday Dinner was well below what the chef and we expected. The property is listed as accommodating 20 guests and we only had 14 yet we were told that there were restrictions on the use of the air-conditioning units in each room. The property is run by agents who are friends of the owners. When all was said and done and we tried to voice our concerns directly with the owners we were stonewalled in the process and never given that information.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans cette grande maison, pour un grand rassemblement familial. Tout est parfaitement dimensionné pour un grand groupe : belle piscine, vastes pièces de vie, belles et grandes chambres avec literie confortable, grand parking ombragé. Ótima experiência!

A estadia foi excelente! A casa é espaçosa, acolhedora, climatizada e bem equipada. Os colchões das camas são muito confortáveis. A lareira da sala é muito boa! O jardim é muito agradável para as crianças brincarem. A piscina estava muito limpa, apesar de ser inverno e provavelmente não ser usada (como foi o nosso caso). Alguns materiais do recheio da casa acusam algum desgaste de uso e pela humidade própria da região (pela proximidade ao mar) mas o valor é justo para as condições oferecidas que, no geral, são muito boas! A destacar ainda a receção da Ana, a gestora do alojamento, que é magnífica! Muito atenciosa, disponível e preocupada em proporcionar uma boa estadia aos hóspedes, explica tudo muito bem à chegada e entrega um documento personalizado com todas as indicações necessárias sobre o alojamento. A casa acomodou na perfeição 5 casais com crianças. Fica próxima de supermercados, de restaurantes, da praia e da serra onde fizemos boas caminhas pela natureza. Uma experiência a repetir e recomendo vivamente!

Das Haus hat die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Die in der Anzeige gezeigten Fotos sind nicht die aktuellsten. Das Mobiliar, die Bausubstanz, der Garten usw. könnten eine Auffrischung gebrauchen.

Prima verblijf

Huis was in een ok buurt. Het is 10 min rijden van Sesimbra. Het huis is netjes maar wel vochtig. Het is heel groot en heeft veel ruimte voor iedereen, wij waren met 11 personen. De honden van de buren waren wel echt storend met hun geblaf. Zwembad is prachtig ! Contact met Ana was super! Ontvangst was prettig en verliep heel soepel. Bedankt Ana!

Friendly knowledgeable hosts!

Lovely property with lots of space and close to the beach. Very good value for money too. I would suggest hiring a car however we used the taxi company recommended by Ana and they were great!

A wonderful villa for friends and families to enjoy

This villa is perfect for large groups of friends and older families to enjoy! Its clean and modern inside with all the essentials and more. The pool is perfect size for large groups and very deep! Ana was a fantastic host, very accommodating and happy to help us with transport ect. Would recommend car hire as we had a little difficulty accessing taxis for our large group due to location (Ana did offer to help us with this). Dogs are noisy in this area but we were told this is normal for Portugal. Overall couldn’t recommend this villa enough and would go back in a heartbeat!
