Although the property is quite old, and some areas could do with a bit of repair as near the end of the season, the overall character and location more than made up for this.

Excellent location and beautiful.property. We very much enjoyed having the boat and canoe at our disposal while we were there.We had an issue briefly while we were there, but it was dealt with so quickly, which we really appreciated.Highly recommend this venue

We have just returned from another lovely family holiday (three generations) on the Norfolk Broads - this time staying at Southover.We found a well-appointed holiday home in the sunshine on the edge of the river; a hot tub; a boat; a canoe; a games room and a 'resident' heron - what more could you want?

This was a magical property,spacious, light and airy with a balcony overlooking the river which was beautiful . The boats and the boathouse were also lovely. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday away from the crowds .

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing property. Very quirky and in a fabulous location (we were treated to daily sightings of kingfisher and even a pair of otters!)We quickly got used to the uneven floor (it's a very old building built on stilts), there was everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of space for a group of 9. One of the group found their bed too soft but you can't please everyone.The boat and kayak were just the icing on the cake for this property, oh and the hottub is massive!Would highly recommend!

In what way does it need tlc? It’s freshly painted insid and out, the garden is rather fabulous kitchen has everything you might possibly want . There is a huge range of crockery and glasses etc tv s and white goods are less than a year ops bathrooms and shower areas are very modern.

The space is lovely. Right on the river. Having the use of the boat and canoe was fantastic. The hot tub was lovely and easy for people to get in and out of because of the decking. The games room was a great addition. Location was excellent. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a fabulous holiday in this lovely, quirky property. The location is absolutely brilliant and we really enjoyed the use of the day-boat to go into Wroxham and to explore some of the Broads. The house is lovely, however the outside area of the property is a little tired and some of the outdoor furniture could do with being replaced. The property owner was really helpful and was very quick to help with the 2 small issues we had during our stay. A really lovely holiday!

Beautiful Waterfront Home

Robert's home is beautiful, spacious, clean and with the most beautiful views of the River. Bird watching heaven. Would definitely return here!

Relaxing week away

Quirky property with everything we needed. Perfect location for Wroxham and Horning with some great pubs en route. Boat was a great bonus. We had a lovely relaxing week away.

Beautiful stay on the river

Lovely quirky property on the river, excellent location, surrounded by wildlife. We really enjoyed ourselves, kitchen very well fitted out, one of our party is a chef and she said best kitchen she's had in a rental. Boating is a great extra, would definitely rent again.
