La maison se trouve sur un magnifique cadre de 40 acres situé à seulement 5 minutes du centre-ville de Mansfield, en Pennsylvanie et à moins de 15 minutes de Historic Wellsboro, en Pennsylvanie. Le Carriage House offre une vue magnifique sur les zones humides protégées où se trouvent des oies canadiennes en migration, des milliers de loups croassants, des dindes sauvages, des cerfs et des ours noirs. Assis sur le porche avant, en regardant le cadre tranquille, vous vous sentirez comme des jours passés. Il y a beaucoup d'endroits pour s'émerveiller et explorer sur le domaine….
La maison de campagne adjacente est située sur la propriété et les 2 maisons situées l'une à côté de l'autre peuvent toutes deux être réservées pour accueillir confortablement de grands groupes. Le cadre tranquille est merveilleux pour les enfants… idéal pour s'asseoir autour du feu de camp dans des sièges de style Adirondack, regarder les étoiles, faire griller des guimauves, attraper des insectes éclaircissants, faire des grillades, des pique-niques et profiter du temps avec la famille et les amis tout en ayant toutes les choses merveilleuses à faire dans Comté de Tioga dans votre arrière-cour. Le domaine est un endroit parfait pour une escapade en famille, une réunion ou une retraite d'entreprise lorsque vous louez les deux maisons pour un total de 9 chambres.

Family get together from across the US

Family members from PA, AZ, and WA stayed in this lovely property for a long weekend. Close to Mansfield University where an event was being held that was participated in by one of our family. Very comfortable and welcoming.

Wedding in Mansfield

My whole family stayed for my wedding in Mansfield. We absolutely loved the houses. We did rent both. We had a fire and an an amazing moon rose over the backyard. The rooms were lovely and kitchen facility was perfect for oyr group to get together for breakfast and lunch before the wedding.

We rented the Country House and the Carriage House for an extended family gathering. The property is excellent with ample room for gathering and visiting, both indoors and out. Cornhole sets and fire pit were favorites for our group. It is out in the country but only a short drive to Mansfield. The owners were very responsive before and during our stay. It is definitely a place we will rent again in the future.

Our stay at the country house in Mansfield, Pa.

The house was very clean and comfortable. There were no maintenance issues. The owner was very responsive to our phone calls and text messages. My wife and I are looking forward to going back to the same country house in Mansfield, Pa. next year. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to visit in the area of Mansfield, Pa.

2nd stay at the carriage house still A+

This is the second year I have rented the carriage house. It is a Beautiful place with hardwood floors and well decorated. The house was extremely clean and the communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend.

good recommendation

The home was beautifully furnished, very clean and roomy for the 8 of us. We enjoyed the fire ring and stargazing at night. Lots of room for the children to play. The location was close to every location we visited. (close to rt 6 and 15) and also our family who lives nearby. The kitchen had more than enough dished, pots and pans which were of good quality. The linens supplied were also very nice and more than what we needed.

Better Than Described!

We felt like we had taken a luxury vacation staying here. It was very clean and the furnishings are super comfortable. This place has everything you need and more! Just the getaway we needed. The donkeys are very vocal, but we really enjoyed them. Also the scenery is beautiful! For future renters, Pizza Hut and Papa V's Pizzeria deliver. Papa V's food is delicious! However, the kitchen is fully equipped for those of us who like to cook too. We are definitely saving this to our favorites and hope to return in the near future!

Extended Family Gathering

We rented both the Carriage House and the Country House for a family gathering. We had family members of all ages from 3 months to retirement age. It was great having the flexibility of 2 houses next to each other - one house ended up being early risers and the other not-so-early risers. The owners were attentive to our needs throughout the week and responded in a timely manner. We loved spending time at Hills Creek State Park, Colton Point State Park, and gathering around the fire pit at night and look at the amazing night sky. Great memories!

Perfect!

We were looking for a nice, quiet, cozy, comfortable spot to relax. It was just what the Doctor-- our Great Physician--ordered!! Beautiful and beyond our expectations. Thanks for the jacuzzi. I'm sure its a maintenance nightmare but it was the selling point for us! The weather was miserable but it didn't matter. We just stayed cozy! Thanks again! And thanks for the winter discount which made it possible.

Family Reunion

Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful wildlife from deer to our morning visit’s with a black bear. At nights it was nature singing, birds singing and frogs croaking and of course the light show by lightning bugs. The property was well cared for and the house very nice and clean, The coffee pot stopped working one morning and was replaced that day. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We opened our home as a vacation rental in 2009. We moved to another home and decided to turn it into a vacation rental rather than sell the property. My husband and I both own other businesses in downtown Wellsboro, PA. I am the owner of The Fifth Season, a women's boutique and home furnishings store. (Stop by and visit the store, especially if you love the design style and decor in the homes.) My husband is a partner in a telecommunications company called Indigo Wireless. We are very active in our community and are often found working on one of our many charity or philanthropic ventures.We are the proud parents of 4 children. 2 older boys one who lives in Scottsbluff NE and one who will soon be graduating from University of Pittsburgh. We have 2 young girls, one who is 4 and one who is 7 who love attending Montessori and doing dance and gymnastics and performing in shows.

My husband purchased the property in 1997 and raised his 2 older sons in the Country House. They were animal lovers and had a Noah's ark of rescued animals living on the property which is perfectly conducive to many animals with the large open pastures and nostalgic renovated red roofed barn. There are still 2 donkeys that live on the property. (called Peter and Buckwheat) He built the Carriage House in 2004 where he had offices for his business in a Feng Shui design. We converted the house from an office/relaxation space to a Vacation Rental in 2006 when my husband and I met. We decided we needed to live in Wellsboro to be closer to our other businesses. Rather than sell the home we decided to turn it into a vacation rental and share the beautiful setting with others.

Our property is a beautiful 40 acres that sits across from a protected wetland. It is a very peaceful oasis to visit when you are looking to get-a- way from the fast paced life of the city and suburbs. If you love a beautifully decorated home with all the modern amenities this is the home for you. The homes are decorated in the lovely 'Fifth Season' style.
