The cabin is clean and just as described. Just big enough for a family of 4 with 2 small kids for a quick trip. Plenty of space to roam and play. Close to other area attractions. Thanks for a nice last minute stay!

Amazing farm property, cute little bunkhouse!

Cute little place to stay on a picturesque farm. The bunkhouse was just right for us. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and highly recommend checking out the pond and hiking on the trails in the natural area next door. Everything was nicer than expected, we would definitely stay here again.

Quaint bunkhouse for a ski getaway

Nicely remodeled and rustic decor. Not a hotel room or a cabin, but a fun private place to bunk down for a couple days. The facility was exactly as advertised. Owner was accommodating and pleasant. Surrounding farm was pleasing to walk around. Stayed for easy drives to three area ski resorts and would return.

Bunkhouse Near Seven Springs

The cabin is in a very quiet, pretty, and peaceful location less than 15 minutes from seven springs. Overall the cabin worked great for a quiet ski weekend. Would definitely suggest bringing your own blankets and sheets, the house is drafty, there were few blankets and only sheets for the mattress itself.

Hi Megan! Well, you certainly were at the cabin during the coldest week we can remember in many years. I understand the wind chill went well below zero. I certainly wish you would have reached out to us if you needed additional blankets. We always keep the closet stocked with fresh flat and fitted sheets for both beds and blankets for both as well. I've never heard of our small sweet cabin being "drafty" but since it was so cold outside, the floor and windows and doors may have been affected. Thank you for the kind words and I hope you come back during better weather to enjoy our beautiful historic farm! Take care and safe travels.

Cute and Quiet

This bunkhouse was just what we needed for one night. It's a well-planned little space comparable to a hotel room, but with a larger kitchen space. The quietness of the farm made for a good night's sleep. We were close enough to pop over to Falling Water the next morning before continuing our journey.

Bunk house

Positives Very clean upon arrival, very well laid out with comfortable furniture. Unique interior trim work of recycled barn siding. All necessary small appliances cleaned and in working order. One thing to improve would be to place the microwave on the counter top. Too high on refrigerator. I would recommend it !

Oh my, Owen. My team told me there was a brief time when the pressure on the pump failed but they got it fixed again right way. They were there and were reporting back to me. This must have happened before we knew there was a problem but we fixed it immediately upon learning of the issue. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. We are run by spring water and it's rare to have any issues but something with the pressure pump stopped briefly while you were there.

À propos de l’hôte

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh by a father who grew up in a poor farm town in Italy. As a board-certified holistic health counselor and MBA type, I guess I had farming in my blood because late in my career, I decided to buy a farm. I've been teaching folks about the power of food choices to heal the body but began to realize that the source of the food was just as critical. So, the desire to have a place where I could grow organic fruits and vegetables and possibly to have a greenhouse to grow all winter long led me to start looking for a farm. Well, after years of looking, my son and I fell immediately in love with this amazing 52-acre historic property. We then began our journey of restoring the buildings that were all built in the 1800s. What has been created out of one of the buildings on the property is the coziest and most comfortable bunkhouse cabin. We are so pleased to share this amazing place with you!
