Cherry Tree Cottage est un charmant chalet en cobb situĂ© dans un village, au cƓur de la vallĂ©e de Kenn et Ă  seulement 8 km de la ville d'Exeter. L'emplacement idĂ©al, juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'A38 / A380 "Crossroads to Devon", donne un accĂšs facile dans toutes les directions - la cĂŽte Ă  moins de 15 minutes de Torquay, les sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de vĂ©lo de l'estuaire de l'Exe (qui vont de Dawlish Ă  Exeter et Topsham et sur Exmouth), l'Est pour la cĂŽte jurassique (15 minutes), le magnifique parc national de Dartmoor (20 minutes), la magnifique vallĂ©e de Teign (15 minutes), la Riviera anglaise, Torquay et Paignton (25 minutes), Plymouth (25 Minutes) et North Devon (1 heure), etc.
La propriĂ©tĂ© dispose de 2 chambres - 1 double et 1 simple (3 couchages). Il a une cheminĂ©e Inglenook et poĂȘle Ă  bois, une cuisiniĂšre Rangemaster pour complĂ©ter la belle cuisine / salle Ă  manger rustique, lave-vaisselle et laveuse / sĂ©cheuse. Il y a du chauffage au sol dans l'Ă©lĂ©gante piĂšce humide en travertin. L'escalier en chĂȘne fait Ă  la main est une caractĂ©ristique particuliĂšre de la propriĂ©tĂ©. Il y a un jardin paisible et joli chalet oĂč vous pourrez vous asseoir et dĂ©guster un verre de vin!
Le village possÚde une boutique sympathique et bien approvisionnée et un bar du village (à 100 mÚtres de la porte), et à seulement un mile est le Ley Arms, un pub au toit de chaume du 12Úme siÚcle.

Cherry Tree cottage

Cherry Tree Cottage is cosy and clean with a beautiful garden and amazingly comfortable beds. It's very well equipped and proved to be a wonderful "home from home" for four weeks while we needed to be close to our newly-arrived grandson. Jacqui is a friendly and helpful host and her great attention to detail ensures that all guests have a very enjoyable stay. We particularly appreciated the very detailed tourist information and walking guides. The cottage is very well located with lovely walks - and pubs! - on the doorstep and easy access to Exeter, Dartmoor and the beaches of South Devon. We'll be back!

Cherry Tree cottage is lovely! Jacqui and Paul were such wonderful hosts and provided a cozy place to stay. Perfect base to explore south Devon

Both my friend and I felt very comfortable at Cherry Tree Cottage. It had everything we needed (as described in the listing) and made the perfect base for exploring the area. Jacqui and Paul are clearly very experienced hosts who've thought of every detail. I'm very happy with this find on VRBO and would highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage in Devon

We enjoyed our second stay in Cherry tree cottage. It is very cosy with lots of character. It is clean,comfortable and well equipped, with everything you need. Although we weren't lucky with the weather this time, the garden is lovely to sit out in when it's nice. The host made us welcome, with a cream tea and milk in the fridge. The location is good with easy access to many places to visit.

Ideal for location and comfort

Just what we needed - a comfortable little cottage with two bedrooms, all clean, very handy for a short drive to Exeter. Parking right outside the cottage wasn't possible as there are many cars parked nearby, but we managed to find a space close by. Thanks for the flapjacks!

Beautiful country cottage

Wonderful cottage

We stayed for a week 21-24 April. The cottage is well equipped with all you need we cooked our evening meal on the range cooker a couple of times. The wet room is just fantastic. No problem with parking. We would definitely book again if we came back to Exeter area. Thank you so much.

Enjoyable Holiday

Charming cottage comfortable and clean, good shower. Lovely garden at the back. All in all this holiday cottage is very well looked after by the owner. Situated well for visiting Devon. Lots of lovely cream teas (Jacqui's being the best) and lovely meals out locally. Jacqui provided lots of information of things to do and places to see. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

Paul and I have been lucky enough to live in Devon for most of our lives. I have lived in Kennford for 13 years - we live together now - just up the road! I most recently worked as a PA and Paul is our sound Accountant! We love being outdoors exploring the countryside, either on foot or on our bikes, and know that we have the very best on our doorstep. The Kenn Valley is stunning and we regularly enjoy a bike ride along the Exe Estuary trail or escaping to Dartmoor National Park for a walk and a picnic (just 20 minutes away). The city of Exeter has a lovely feel and there is of course lots to see and do. We also love to pop down to Topsham (the old Port). We hope you will feel free to enjoy the many walks and cycle rides we have left in the comprehensive welcome/visitor information pack so that you make the very best of your stay (we have done your homework for you!)

We do love the village. It has everything we need - with a great local shop, some great pubs and a village bar, but at the same time we are just a 10 miles from the coast and 15 miles from Dartmoor. We will never tire of this area, so we have decided to stay put and buy a holiday home so that you can get a taste of the good life!

When we saw the cottage we fell in love with it as it is just so characterful, but immaculate. It has the most beautiful handmade staircase and we love the exposed beams. It is a perfect combination of old meets new - with the stylish shower room, inglenook fireplace and beautiful oak staircase.
