Sand Hollow trip

This property was perfect for our brief stay. Our host was very responsive and made check in and check out completely painless. House was in immaculate condition and conveniently located for our needs. Thanks to Synthia for letting us stay and making the process so easy.

Wonderful House

Amazing, beautiful home!

We were overjoyed to stay in this lovely home. Synthia was professional, kind, and wonderful as a renter. Her home was large, clean, spacious, in a nice location, comfortable and simply wonderful. I would stay there again in a second! t was really sweet, too, that spices and food extras were left for the next renter to use. Thank you Synthia!

Wonderful experience!

This was our first time renting a home. The home was spacious and very abundantly stocked! The 4 bedrooms consisted of: a beautiful master bedroom with full bathroom facilities; another bedroom with a queen sized bed (I think) and a room with 2 twin beds, each of these 2 rooms shared a full bathroom; and the 4th bedroom had a queen sized bed (I think) but no bathroom - there was a common 1/2 bath just around the corner, worked fine for us. I loved the comfortable surroundings and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being new to the game, I hope we fulfilled our part as guests. - Thank you!

Awesome House...Awesome Experience!!!

This house added so much to our vacation. What a great feeling after a long hard day of hiking and adventuring around Utah to come home to a clean house with air conditioning and all the amenities of our own home. We were able to spread out in this spacious home, cook any meal we wanted, and enjoy the comfort of the air conditioning. Homeowner was always available via email and phone. Thanks Synthia for adding another level of enjoyment to our vacation. Can't wait to come back again.

Friend Reunion

Very nice home close to St. George without being in the traffic, close to Zion and Sand Hollow Golf course. Oven had been overlooked for cleaning and the last renters, I don't think they knew how to use it properly. We almost had a grease fie when just warming it up. Would recommend this home to anyone though.

Great place to stay! Close to Zion National Park.

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home! Synthia was a great communicator and answered all of our questions. We were only about 30 minutes from Zion National Park and the drive there offered amazing views. The house was absolutely perfect with everything we needed. Watching the sun rise against the mountains from the back patio while enjoying our morning coffee was always a real treat. There were some awesome restaurants in town (Barista's was our favorite) and a Walmart 5 minutes away for convenient food shopping. No cable however there was a good internet connection so we watched the NBA finals streamed on my iPad plus the house came with lots of DVDs to choose from. Definitely would highly recommend this house and would gladly stay there again!

Amazing beauty in Southern Utah!

What an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Hurricane Utah. The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults. We enjoyed exploring the limestone boulders and reservoir just out the back door. We traveled to Zion National Park, only a 30 minuet drive, for 4 days of hiking and awesome beauty. Bryce Caynon was a day trip that did not disappoint and inclueded the Mt.Carmel Tunnel scenic drive. Our trip concluded with around of golf at the beautiful desert course at Sky Mountain. The owner was most accommodating and available for information and questions throughout the trip. One of our travelers commented " this trip was flawless". We would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to explore the beauties of Southern Utah. PS, for a real treat do not miss a hike in the Kolob Cayon on the Taylor's Creek Trail.

Sand Hollow Trip

This was our first time to Sand Hollow and we didn't know what to expect for parking and convenience to trails. We had 2 vehicles and 2 trailers that were able to be parked along the street and in the driveway, and the park entrance to the lake was only about a 10 minute drive and same amount to drive to the start of trails. Took a drive to Gunlock Falls which was about 45 minutes away and worth the drive! Also did Toquerville Falls that took about 50 minutes to drive to, I would definitely recommend a UTV on the actual trail. The house was beautiful with everything a rental needed and then some, spices, some condiments, plastic ware, laundry soap, and other items not usually provided. The patio was beautiful to sit on in the mornings and evenings listening to the frogs. Would highly recommend staying here and I would definitely like to come back.

Beautiful home with an amazing owner!

First off... Synthia , the owner is WONDERFUL! She is so very helpful and kind! My Mom and I were so grateful for her efforts to make our stay lovely and it was. The house is very nice and comfortable. There is a beautiful park just down the street that is great for walking dogs and for children to play. Zion takes about 50 minutes to reach and there's a Wal-Mart only 10 minutes away with all you need! It's about 15 minutes outside the town of Hurricane and the mountains and views are outstanding! The one drawback for anyone who is wanting a nice quiet home to relax in during the daytime is that there is a lot of construction going on. This was the only reason I gave the house 4 stars. We left by about 10am to head to Zion and didn't get home until late but if we'd been wanting to just hang around the house, the noise of construction would be annoying. However, it didn't effect us one bit but I'd want to know that if I was a homebody and looking for peace and quiet. Anyway, I think most would find this house a perfect place to bounce from for exploring the surrounding areas. By the way, Synthia was AMAZING about letting us have our dogs which really made the house extra special for us!

Gracious Helpful owner, facilities didn't meet our expectations

First, let me say that Synthia was very kind, quick to respond, and as helpful as she could be. It was easy, and a pleasure working with her. However, the house did not meet our expectations. We shared the home with four couples. We chose this home because it had four bedrooms. The Master bedroom was very good, the other three bedrooms were quite small, two did not have any kind of chest, or drawers, and one had no closet, or place for your hanging clothes. The TV in the Living Room was a big disappoint, very small, with basic cable that did not include the News channels. The Living room furniture was not very comfortable, and would not seat all of us at once. The dining room chairs were not comfortable. There was basically no back yard, and no other amenities. I must admit that last year we stayed in a much nicer, larger four bedroom condo with access to a pool, fitness center, a nice area for BBQ's, etc.....so, it may be unfair to compare. We were there for 12 days of the Huntsmen senior Games, and this house is 20-25 minutes East of town....the long trips back and forth, some days a couple of times, simply did not work for us. My feeling is, this home would work fine for a family with children wanting to stay near Zion. So, kudios for Synthia, not so much for our experience.

Dear Future Guests, While I appreciate the acknowledgement towards me as a host as I am quite dedicated to the overall experience of my guests stay. it is however disappointing to read that my property did not meet the expectations of this group and do not feel this review was fair. This is the first time in 3 years that a guest has complained about the comfort of the furniture and size of the rooms so I must take into consideration that it is just not possible to please everyone 100% Still it is always my goal to try. Also this home and back yard is completely landscaped with lawn, fruit and decorative trees a back yard patio, outdoor sitting and lounge area with BBQ grill so I don't quite understand what "No backyard" is supposed to mean. This beautiful home is clean, comfortable, elegant and spacious and does not indicate anywhere on the site that workout facilities and pool are available and again not sure why it should be compared. Sand Hollow reservoir is within walking distance with beautiful areas to enter for a good swim. also this home is equipped with flat screen TV's, satellite channels and a large library of great movies.

Beautiful house & great location

Our stay here was excellent! The house is very nice and very clean. Plenty of room for a large family or smaller groups. It’s right outside of the Sand Hallow State Park so very close to all the outdoor activities you could want. Will absolutely stay here again!

It's off the beaten path and away from the bustling activity but close enough to get anywhere you want to go conveniently. I feel in love with this area having moved back to Utah in 2005 because of the pristine Sand Dunes, the unique and extremely beautiful Sand Hollow Reservoir, The Stark green Golf Course against the brilliant red rock and the majestic views of Pine Valley Mountain. a truly amazing place to be.

This is a Brand New home with granite counter tops throughout, new appliances, Fireplace, Satellite TV, comfortable beds and furniture and outdoor BBQ. This home is squeaky clean, Spacious but homey and comfortable. The views are stunning and hikes alone are worth the visit. it's a great place to relax when your just looking for peace and quiet and a perfect place to bounce from for Golfing, Visiting National Parks, Water sports, and a perfect location for just getting family together. Golfing is only 1 mile away and several National Parks including Zion are within a 30 minute drive. There is plenty of parking space for large vehicles, boats and ATV trailers and ATV's can be driven right from the house to the trails and swimming is a 10 minute walk from the house.
There are hundreds of miles of off roading trails right outside the door and a Kawasaki Tyrex 4 seater in garage for guests to rent.
