La Pleine Lune, située à Playa Hermosa (belle plage), se trouve à l'extrémité nord de Santa Teresa. Full Moon a été construit sur mesure en 2010 comme notre escapade - maintenant nous trouvons que nous ne sommes pas là aussi souvent que nous le souhaiterions, alors nous partagerons avec vous! Situé à l'extrémité nord de Santa Teresa dans une zone plus calme. La Pleine Lune est parfaite pour 4 adultes ou une (petite à) petite famille de 5 personnes. Les deux chambres sont meublées avec un lit queen (et une avec un lit simple ainsi), et ils ont tous deux leur propre salle de bain jardin. (Voir notre 1 chambre Half Moon # 989649, qui est sur notre propriété pour les logements supplémentaires) Le confort complet de la maison, mais n'est pas votre maison - c'est votre escapade latino-américaine! Le grand salon est à aire ouverte avec une grande cuisine très bien équipée - consultez le bar massif! Une table à manger peut accueillir 6-8, avec son banquet intégré, de sorte que vous pouvez inviter des amis que vous avez rencontrés sur la plage pour le dîner. Confortablement meublé pour une expérience latino-américaine vraiment décontractée. Il y a l'air conditionné dans chaque chambre et les ventilateurs de plafond, la cuisine est entièrement équipée - réfrigérateur, cuisinière / four, micro-ondes, etc. J'adore notre immense terrasse en teck pour prendre l'air et respirer, lire ou regarder des singes, des perroquets, des colibris, des iguanes, etc. De belles lignes de bambou fendues à chaque plafond de la maison. Aucune alarme nécessaire! Les singes hurleurs visitent, parfois deux fois par jour! Ils trottent le long de la cime des arbres et paissent sur les feuilles et les fleurs des arbres de la propriété. Vous pouvez demander des services de chef, des massages, des cours particuliers de yoga ou de Pilates, organiser des leçons de surf, faire de l'équitation dans une ferme écologique à proximité, faire un tour et découvrir pourquoi nous avons construit dans cette belle région du Costa Rica. Great location and very spacious

Just a two minute walk from Hermosa Beach, this house is ideal for surfers and sun lovers. My family enjoyed our stay and the convenience of having the beach so close, a cafe across the street and a small grocery store around the corner.

What a perfect house for a costa rica get away. The location, within a short walking distance of the beach, but very private and across the street from our favorite breakfast and lunch spot, the house is beautiful with great outdoor showers and roomy living areas. Definately would recommend

Beautiful Home in Ideal Location

This home was beautiful and well equipped for all of our needs, very clean and well cared for. We saw monkeys and sea turtles at the beach, enjoyed lovely sunsets every night and relaxed in hammocks under the palm trees. There was a variety of wildlife around the home including a family of monkeys and beautiful birds. We enjoyed the location being just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Theresa. We very highly recommend this home!!!

playa hermosa family trip

Location, location, location! A short walk to a perfect beach for everyone. Great waves for the advanced as well as kid friendly waves on the inside or the perfect beach to just relax. Its a quick drive from the busier Santa Teresa and Playa Carmen area which is packed with all your basic needs. This was also nice as we were there during the dry season and it was great to be where there are less cars and trucks passing on a consistent basis because it does get dusty. Great house overall plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen has everything you need, and the deck right out the front door surrounded by Costa Rica's natural beauty can't be beat. The caretakers of the property can help you book all kinds of fun excursions and have great local knowledge. You really can't go wrong with this house! My family can't wait to go back.

Incredible Home

We had an amazing vacation. My husband and I are surfers with 3 young kids. The house is so close to the beach that we would run down separately in the morning and then head down later with the kids for their surf lessons and general beach time. We worked out at Jill's boot camp, ate lunch at Café Couleur, ate dinner at Kojis, and occasionally took a taxi to Santa Teresa to buy groceries. The house is perfectly located for all of this. The house is also well equipped for big family cooking. We would spend our nights on the patio chatting and when we were tired of the heat we would head in to the air conditioning. We would wake up in the morning to the sounds of howler monkeys outside our windows. Unbelievable. We were lucky to have Will around during our stay. He and Denise, the owners of the home, are so generous and helpful. Between them and Noelia, the house manager, they make it hard to leave. We went horse back riding on the farm and zip-lining in Montezuma. It was amazing to hang out as a family in a stress free environment. We would recommend this to anyone looking to surf, travel around or just relax. You will have an unforgettable time.

Great location!

We had the best stay at the Full Moon! The house was comfortable and well-appointed with indoor and outdoor areas to relax. The outdoor showers were lovely! The best part of our stay, though, was the location - away from the bustle of Santa Teresa, and a short walk to the beach. We were able to rent surf boards and get lessons right across the street and then come back later for lunch at the Cafe. It was an excellent week of surfing at Playa Hermosa! For dinner out, we highly recommend Atardecer Dorado in Manzanillo. The food is great and they have the best ocean views of any restaurant we went to.

Great location!

The Full Moon is a very clean and spacious property in a great location. It is a very close walk to a beautiful swimming and surfing beach where you can walk for miles in both directions. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Amazing property 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Full moon is a wonderful space with every possible kitchen amenity, great showers and bathrooms, air conditioning in all the rooms what you really need here in Costa Rica, directly across the street from a cafe that is pretty good that serves breakfast and lunch. The property is spacious and clean and well stocked with everything you would probably want almost as good as a luxury hotel. I sat on the deck and watched an iguana camouflaged in a branch watching me. For the most part the property is quiet. It is located on the beach access road behind a private gate. The property manager or concierge is named is Kristi. She went out of her way to help with any requests that I had. Including dropping me off downtown to rent a bike. She is very friendly and speaks English well. She did everything she could to make my stay comfortable and she responded very quickly to any questions I had. The villa does not have any views of the ocean but you can hear it with the doors open. Also in case you're looking for a smaller place Denise the owner also rents another studio with bathroom and fully stocked kitchen on the same property for a little bit less money. This is also a very cute place. And by the way, the internet works great. Anyway it's a wonderful property and I strongly recommend it.

Great spot!

We went without a lot of plans , but there is a lot to see on this peninsula and this house was about 400 yards from a beautiful beach and a great place to relax. Recommend renting quads too. Great way to get around.

Excellent location and a wonderful experience for my family

I spent a week with my family in this lovely home and we could have stayed a month or more... close to the beach with everything you need close by. The surfing was amazing. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect home base for a week in paradise!

We stayed at Denise's lovely home for a week for a family vacation. The house is really well laid out for two adults and two kids, and it had everything we needed and more. The location is absolutely incredible, just a few minutes to walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with a cafe and surf shop right across the street. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Awesome place only minutes from the beach. Highly recommend beautiful setting

The property is special. Very clean and fully equipped. Right across from a fantastic cafe and surf shop. A local grocery is close by for quick groceries. Denise and Will are amazing people and Kristi and Casey were awesome and always close by to help.

Loved our stay at Full Moon

We were very comfortable, enjoyed mornings and evenings out on the deck, refreshing a/c mid day. We surfed each morn and evening, easy walk to beach, loved the easy access at Playa Hermosa. As a beginner it was the perfect place to learn. Board rentals right next door, so easy. Ate in a few times, easy trip to restaurants, casual or upscale, whatever you choose. Everyone was so nice, we totally enjoyed our stay. Thanks Denise for sharing your great place!

Excellent Home in Perfect Location

We spent an amazing week at this home and have nothing but praise. A lovely, fully equipped house with every convenience. Five minute walk to excellent beach, good restaurant across the street and great café next door. Colourful town Santa Teresa, very ugly, but so interesting. We were well taken care of, very comfortable and enjoyed the surroundings. Yes, roads are beyond belief, but that can also be an adventure.

Fantastically located opposite a great cafe and a short walk from the beach.

The house was perfectly furnished with everything we needed. We loved the location, a little way from Santa Teresa. And the beach was heavenly. We would loved to return, and definitely recommend it.

Nature!

We really enjoyed our stay at Full Moon House. We were greeted by Denise who was very accommodating and hospitable to my family. I would like to take the time and say thank you for being generous and flexible with us. We really appreciated the attention and letting us stay in your home. We were put in contact with property managers Noelia and Kristi who told us about local restaurants and about a nice tide pool located close by. You’ll have to ask them where that is. :) The kids were able to see tiny lobsters, shrimp, fish, etc in the pools. The property is beautiful and nestled into the mature palm and banana trees. The bamboo ceilings of the house are a nice architectural touch that make the house one with nature. The outside showers were also a reminder that you are definitely in a tropical place. We loved hearing the howler monkeys in the distance as well as the various species of birds that would fly by the area and take over tree tops. The house is several minutes away from downtown Santa Teresa which was perfect for my family. We didn’t want the night time noise of the crowds, cars, dirt bikes, ATVs. Instead, we got to listen to various insects, lizards etc. with the occasional rooster crow. Across the street you have Couleur Café which is French owned restaurant. We had a couple of meals there. They serve dinner only twice a week when we went. Tiamat Surf Lodge is literally steps down the road (on your way to the Playa Hermosa). They have good prices for rentals and also serve food. My son and I received lessons for 1.5 hours and were able to keep the surf boards for longer. All in all it was a great vacation and loved Full Moon House. Pura Vida Denise, Noelia and Kristi.

Second time around.

As usual the stay at Full Moon house was relaxing, rejuvinating and well worth the drive from Liberia! There were a few hiccups, but we all managed to deal with them and get into the Costa Rican groove. Denise and Will are great owners that care and communicate. A wonderful asset when renting a home. Their caretakers Noelia and Kristi are so awesome, always around to help or answer any questions. We really enjoyed our second time down there as we felt like we were part of the community this time. Couleur Cafe is the best and right across the street. The beach is peaceful and inviting. We had fresh coconut water every day there and met locals that have become friends. We will all go back as soon as we can! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Great house. Great location. Great host. This is a beautiful, well-furnished home a short walk from the beach. All the rooms are air conditioned and the wifi works well. We had a problem with a shower head and it was fixed right away. We feel lucky we got to enjoy the waves and stay here.

Relaxing house

Great place in playa Hermosa. The beach is a few minutes from Santa Teresa and is very quiet. The home is a 3 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful. Good beach for kids - soft waves on the shore - and great all round location. The house is very good. The whole place is filled with windows which keep it bright all day long. The kitchen is great (all items are there), The rooms are good (two suites) and a nice balcony. The bathrooms have a "sky windows" which is great, but the shower heads are not the best. They provide towels which is great (not the newest ones but you are at the beach). A lot of monkeys, lizards and birds all round the property all the way to the house. Loved the home and location. The manager around is great and helps on any occasion. One supermarket about 5 minutes around and two restaurants right next to the spot. One room had some dirt from the roof but nothing much to complain. The owners are very helpful and available. Can´t go wrong.

I grew up on Long Island, New York and spent my summers at the beach. Will's father was in the Navy so his life has always been around water. In Virginia Beach when he was around 13 he started surfing and found his passion. When we are not in Costa Rica we live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Southern Shores. We live on a canal for kayaking and boating and moments from the Atlantic for Will's surfing, close to Duck, Corolla , Nags Head and an hour from Hatteras. We have been in the Property Management and Real Estate business for 25 years here founded 2 fantastic companies Corolla Classic Vacations (subsequently selling it in '08) & Corolla Real Estate. We know the importance of maintaining and upgrading. Our hearts are always in the arena of taking care of people and houses on the beach and providing the best vacations.

We first vacationed in Santa Teresa in 2004 and found a place we kept wanting to return to. In 2006 we purchased property on the Ocean in Manzanillo. Then we purchased this piece in 2007 and after careful consideration and collaborations we built Full Moon and Half Moon. We love the location because we can walk to the beautiful beach. We chose this area because it still holds a relatively rugged feel with its dirt roads and low level development. People from all over the world live and vacation here. Because the area attracts surfers along with health conscience individuals it is forefront with Yoga Retreats, Spas, and emerging trends for your body and soul. You will find it to be a very youthful and entrepreneurial area. Wonderful restaurants or chef services provide the best and freshest foods for ultimate dining. Our area was featured in the New York Times Style Magazine - Travel May 2016.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Full Moon is understated, but I believe it is also beautiful! Those bamboo ceilings are a constant reminder that you are in the tropics. Lounging on the huge teak deck you are almost always protected from the sun with its massive overhang. Seeing the monkeys in the trees from your shower - awesome! We always meet someone new while we are here as everyone goes to the beach to watch the sunset before dinner.
