Property exceeded our expectations! Loved everything about it. Kids loved having the pool in addition to a close proximity to beach. Golf cart was so helpful as well as the elevator for groceries! The neighborhood was so peaceful. Overall we had such a relaxing vacation. Thank you!!!

This house is beautiful and the location is great! We loved the size and the layout! It was perfect for 6 adults and a toddler. Plenty of bedroom space for all of us. Room to gather together and to spread out for quiet time if needed. The kitchen was well appointed with what we needed for cooking meals, and the grill was a plus! The golf cart is an absolute luxury for getting to the beach access path, and we loved having a pool right in our backyard!!The house was clean, but not immaculate. We noticed dust under furniture and on ceiling fans, etc. It seemed in need of a deep clean. The pool, also, needed to be vacuumed. Sand had accumulated on the steps and in some of the corners. We addressed this with the host (after our stay), and they promised to follow up with the house and pool cleaning staff.Also, this VRBO has joined the trend of asking more of guests upon checkout. This was the first time we have ever been asked to strip our beds and make sure all dishes were clean and put away before leaving. This is not necessarily a deal breaker, but be aware that it is in the rental contract if you plan to rent this property. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!

Family Time

The house was perfect for our group. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water. It does need a new grill, but we improvised and just cooked inside. Our family that lives in NC really enjoyed picking us up in the dock.

Perfect home for an Emerald Isle vacation

This is the perfect home for a beach vacation. Everything was great and as advertised. Bonus perk is that you can walk to get pizza, ice cream or visit Gaffer’s for live music. 10/10 place to stay.

Beautiful home, great location, great pool!

We loved the location of this home right off of Coast Guard Drive, and loved hanging out in the pool. The beach was a 10 minute walk or you could take the golf cart. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.

The house was very clean. We loved the little extras…….elevator, pool, deck/covered porch, fully furnished kitchen and golf cart! Our stay was wonderful. Any minor issue or question was quickly handled by Sandy, Drew & the owner.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! 4 Bdrm spacious house with 4 bathrooms! A beautiful house with a great porch to enjoy relaxing on a rocking chair. On days we didn’t want to go out, we enjoyed the pool and the grill. Truly a home away from home.

very happy with the cleanliness of the home! golf cart was a great amenity for getting back and forth to the beach. elevator was great for getting large luggage and coolers into the home. the pool was just another added bonus. property manager was quick in response to the grill propane tank being low. 10/10 recommend!

Our Stay at Happy Ours

This is our second visit to Happy Ours. Great location. Convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping. Lots of space for everyone. We used the pool everyday. Rented bikes for the grandkids as the neighborhood is perfect for bike riding. Hope to visit again.

Great July 4th vacation

Location was walkable to the beach but the golf cart made it easy to transport chairs, cooler, and children to beach. Pool was great and kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Only problem we had was the door closest to the elevator would stick and be hard to open or close.

Excellent Family Vacation Spot!

Our entire family truly enjoyed this place for our recent vacation. Having the pool and easy access to the beach via golf cart made for all around enjoyment by all ages. As it's in a residential area, the beaches were not overly crowded, even in the summer months, compared to the sections of multi-family condos. An additional standout was the fully equipped kitchen for all sorts of cooking; however, when not in the mood to cook, it's an easy walk to several nice restaurants. Highly recommend.
