Casa Luna is a beautiful home on the Caribbean with a spectacular ocean view.
This 4 bedroom house is located on the southern end of Half Moon Bay in Akumal, Mexico, 68 miles south of Cancun International Airport. It sits adjacent to a small, natural park, giving it an open, roomy feel. The entry into this spectacular vacation home is a walk through a beautiful garden oasis, lined with flowering plants and palm trees, providing excellent privacy.
The main house has three bedrooms and many outdoor terraces and balconies. There is also a separate studio casita which can be rented with the main house, or, seasonally, without.
The main floor of the villa includes a large Guest Bedroom with king-size bed and private bath, and a second bedroom beside the pool with 2 double beds and another full bathroom. The living room is yours to relax in or take a swim! It opens onto a large outdoor dining patio, overlooking the dazzling blue sea. The patio has a tiled, built-in barbecue for your grilling pleasure. If you would like to prepare your own meals, the kitchen has everything you need, with a full indoor dining room as well. There is also a cook available by request for an extra cost.
The second floor is home to the Master Suite/Apartment, with a king size bed, full bathroom, ocean view and a large terrace that leads to the roof top observatory. This master suite also has a private, fully equipped kitchen and small balcony- complete with table and chairs overlooking the gardens and sea.
The third floor is a tower room/cocktail bar with a breathtaking, 360 degree view of shimmering Caribbean waters, jungle, and all of Akumal. The most incredible view around!
The garden casita is at the entrance to the house above the enclosed two car garage. This cozy studio is fully furnished with a king size bed, full bathroom, living and dining bar area with TV and DVD, and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has an inviting large balcony with ocean and garden views.
Outdoors, there is a nice pool (10x38squ ft) on the west side of the house surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. The pool actually flows into a feature area in the living room (which can be enclosed for safety if there are children in the group). There is a charcoal BBQ grill outdoors for alfresco cooking, and plenty of outdoor living space and outdoor furniture for enjoying our lovely warm climate!
Casa Luna is a great choice for families or friends. It has great views and is conveniently located within walking distance of everything in the village.
