Spacieuse ferme de 5 chambres pour animaux de compagnie dans les magnifiques montagnes de Cairngorm

Le Nuide House est situé à la périphérie de Newtmore, une jolie ville des Highlands écossais située dans le magnifique parc national de Cairngorm.

La spacieuse maison de cinq chambres à coucher se trouve sur le domaine Ralia et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 10. La maison elle-même a une vue imprenable sur les montagnes de Monadhliath, ainsi que la campagne locale. Admirez les montagnes aux sommets enneigés en hiver et les collines couvertes de bruyères en été - c'est vraiment une maison pour répondre à toutes les saisons.

Au rez-de-chaussée de la ferme est le salon spacieux et confortable avec feu de bois, ainsi qu'un deuxième salon avec TV, ce qui est idéal pour les enfants et les adolescents. Il ya aussi une cuisine bien équipée avec cuisinière électrique, un réfrigérateur, un lave-vaisselle, un micro-ondes et une machine à café. À côté de la cuisine est la buanderie à portée de main où une laveuse / sécheuse et un congélateur coffre peuvent être trouvés. Pour prendre vos repas ensemble, vous trouverez une salle à manger informelle et formelle.

Les chambres à Nuide Maison sont réparties sur deux étages. Au premier étage de la maison sont deux chambres doubles, deux avec salle de bains et une bonne chambre à deux lits de taille. Deux salles de bains familiales sont également situés au premier étage. Les deux dernières chambres, qui sont toutes deux jumelles, sont situées à l’étage du grenier.

À l'extérieur, le Nuide House bénéficie de son propre jardin entièrement clos, idéal pour les personnes séjournant avec des chiens ou des enfants. Le jardin comprend des meubles en bois et un barbecue.

Lors de votre séjour à Nuide, vous pourrez profiter de nombreuses activités, notamment de magnifiques promenades en montagne ou à flanc de montagne, du vélo, de la pêche et des sports nautiques. Le ski est également populaire pendant les mois d'hiver. Pour la pêche, le domaine Ralia peut organiser des activités de pêche sur la rivière Spey, située à proximité.

Dans les environs de Newtonmore, les clients trouveront de bons endroits pour manger, ainsi que des magasins utiles et un garage. A great base for our week of hillwalking.

This was our second visit, last one 3 years ago. The house was comfortable, roomy and had all the things we needed to make for a pleasant and successful week. No problems were encountered.

Fantastic house and great area

We spent a fantastic week at Nuide House. There is so much to see in this area. The house is huge and it was great to have apart from the dining room another big room with the round table. So when playing games we couldn't finish on the evening, we could just leave everything until next day. The beds were very comfortable, the sofas in the living room not so much. The kitchen was very well equipped and big. We also had lovely barbeques outside. It was also very useful to have a wadjing machine. We would have appreciated it if there would have been a hair dryer. We would like to come again.

Large and comfortable farmhouse, it isn't modern by any means but it is warm, comfortable and has a nice feel about it. The shower was really good and plenty of hot water, I also appreciated the traditional features, like the sink in the twin bedroom - great for little ones brushing their teeth before bed and the fire places in the double rooms. It was also great for pets with a large enclosed garden. My children enjoyed the shear size of the property too, perfect for games of hide and seek or treasure hunts.

Great family week in Scotland

Overall we were very happy with our week at Nuide House. It is not walking distance into Newtonmore but easy access out to the main road for visiting everywhere by car. The furnishings are a little tired but comfortable and I would have liked a bigger kitchen but it worked well for our family. Thank you

Wonderful base for hill-walking week

Nuide House was a wonderful base for our week of hill-walking in May 2023. The house was comfortable and warm and there was plenty of space to relax in the evenings for our group of 8. The beds provided very good sleeping and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was functional and met all our needs. There was ample car parking for our 4 cars and a useful outside shed for bike storage. We liked the round table. In terms of hill-walking the house is very well situated with lots of Munros and Corbetts in the surrounding area. Newtonmore has an excellent Co-op which is open long hours every day of the week and also a petrol station apart from other shops and hotels. We ate out one evening at the McInnes Hotel in Kingussie. Very good meal but they had problems getting our drinks right. Overall an excellent week.

Very nice house

The house is really big and spacious. The large round table in the diningroom is very nice. The kitchen is well equiped. We liked the fireplace. The house is near the A9, but you don't hear any traffic. It has a good location if you want yo visit Inverness, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Fort William, climb the Ben Nevis, take the (Harry Potter!) train to Mallaig, feed alpacas or taste whiskey at Dalwhinnie. The house needs some tlc; fix some broken tiles and give it some paint. There are 4 bathrooms, but only one normal shower. It would be best if one of the bathrooms (prefably the one next to the showerbathroom) is turned into a normal shower. A large (Aldi) supermarket can be found in Aviemore (20 minute drive).

Better cleaning needed

Its difficult to recommend the property, as it was quite worn in many places, but offered moderate value for money overall. The cleaning of the property needs improvement, as we had to clean rancid milk from the fridge on arrival, which was pretty unreasonable as a starting point, and bathrooms and ither areas were worn and not particulalrly clean. The towels provided were worn, the bathrooms and fitting were old and somewhat dilapidated in areas. Radiators in some areas of the house didnt function while others overheated some rooms, a leaking window just had a jug under it to catch water, many of the doors had warped and didnt close any more. For the money we paid it was ok, but a little bit of work, some care, some thought about guests, some cleaning etc would all help here.

The beds were clean and comfortable. Points that could be improved: there was a broken window in the shower room and some of the walls had holes in them. The downstairs toilet did not flush unless you removed the lid from the cistern and manually flushed it. There was a huge cobweb in the en-suite bathroom to Bedroom 1. The towels were frayed and could do with being replaced. Major problem: we had booked the house because it had wi-fi and I knew I needed to do some work whilst I was staying there. When I tried to log on to the network I got an error message. I contacted the owners who advised that the wi-fi had not been working the previous week and the previous guests had "moaned" about it. I explained that I needed to do work for the Friday which necessitated wi-fi. It was suggested I go to the nearby cafe. With no further contact from the owners and a continuing absence of any wi-fi we had no choice but to return home early; we left on the Thursday instead of the Saturday. I sent a message to the owners at approximately 1445 to advise we had had to leave because of the lack of wi-fi. I received a reply approximately 2 hours later to advise that it had been fixed at approximately 1400.

Très très grande maison au calme

1 semaine pour 8 : beaucoup d'espace dans une construction ancienne.Points faibles: canapés entre fauteuils de salon fatigués, absence de douche dans 1 chambre, literies de 140. Cadre et jardin superbes. Position centrale Highlands.

Perfect Location

We had a great week at Nuide House, perfect location for exploring and hiking in the Cairngorms. Plenty of space and ideal when travelling with dogs. The exceptional good weather made the trip extra special.

A prefect place to recharge the batteries

Large and could easily cope with 10 people. Some of the rooms were very impressive, but some of the rooms did look a bit tired. Beds were comfortable and the grounds were great for the kids to keep themselves busy. Very quiet and great views, and an amazing star show on clear night.

Lovely location

Lovely house but needs a bit of TLC. Boiler broke down at the end of our holiday, no bit deal regarding the heating but the hot water also went off, so we had to boil the kettle for a day. Beautiful location, lots of wildlife to see. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Probably a little dated but don’t let that put you off.. excellent space for 2 families with teenagers.. great location for days out to Aviemore and surrounding area and evenings in front of the log fire .. 👍👍👍👍

Great stay at Nuide property

The property is great in terms of location for our walking holiday. We spent a lot of time outdoors as the weather was glorious. The house is very spacious and the view from the bedrooms beautiful. There is a nearby farm with sheep. The house decoration and fittings are a bit dated but it didn't matter much for our short stay. The owners were very friendly and fixed the WiFi issues we encountered.

August Holliday for 10

This is a great house if you’re a large party, it’s very clean with plenty of space for everyone to loose themselves is required, there is loads of outdoors space for ball games and the house is only 5 minutes drive from Newtonmore, if I was to find fault I would say the advertised Sky isn’t Sky it’s just freeview and the Wi-fi is next to useless with more than a couple of people on it , apart from that all is good,

Summer holiday with extended famiky

Had a lovely week at a Nuide House in July 2019. There was plenty of room for our extended family of 5 adults and 4 children. Easy access to everything the Cairngorms have to offer. Very traditional property in a rural setting set out over 3 floors. Very relaxing.
